About: I have Volunteered at Angel Memorial through High School. I have Experience with Dogs Ranging from Pups to Elderly dogs. And Except All Breeds ( Pitbulls and Chihuahuas!!) . I am very familiar and ok with dogs who are very active/loud,pulling,nipping aswell jump! 🙂 I have a very Flexible work schedule and love to use it to spend time with things I absolutely love especially furry friends! I also love walks!! I feed when scheduled I make sure to get all rules your dog follows on a daily. Makes sure i secure all doors that need to be.

About: I follow the guidelines of the owner. I am "present" (not distracted) with the dog. I am consistent and caring. I am very aware of the dog's behavior in the range of other pets and people, and adjust our path and pace accordingly. I am recently retired and my scheduled is flexible between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. unless I have scheduled time on the water to sail. Currently, I walked my neighbors dog. When I enter, I am careful to close the door immediately and take time to greet the dog (Mazie, female). I am attentive to details when putting on her harness for both security and comfort. While walking, I follow the instructions of the owner relative to the proximity of other dogs since Mazie is a rescue and can become agitated by other dogs. Maize heels very well for me while we walk and I believe she appreciates that I do not listen to music or use my phone while we walk. I converse with Mazie to ensure she feels companionship as well as experiences exercise.

About: I have experience caring for all types of pets ranging from cats & dogs, to bearded dragons and bunnies! I have a 7 year old cat of my own, and recently moved in with my partner and two senior dachshunds, whom I care for often. I work from home full time and like to take daily walks in an effort to step away from the screen. I am happy to take your pet along for a walk, or stop by for an hour or so for playtime and cuddles! If house sitting multiple nights, I ask for adequate wifi to work remote during the day. I am unable to host in my home due to existing pets. However, I am available to care for your pet in your home to minimize disruption to their routine!

“Michelle is wonderful! My dog went suddenly blind a few months ago and has had a hard time adapting, especially on walks which make her nervous. I hired Michelle to walk Gracie twice a week to help her have gentle, positive practice to build her confidence back up. Michelle has been amazing with her. She is so patient with Gracie and in tune with her needs and emotional state. Within a few minutes of meeting her, Gracie was more comfortable walking with Michelle than she is with my husband. After two weeks, Gracie is already noticeably more comfortable on walks. We are so lucky we found Michelle!”

About: I’ve had cats, dogs, and hamsters and I am willing to experience a lot more! Don’t worry, I always enjoyed animals and providing them with love and care, so your mind will be at ease when you are away. I recently completed school but I also work a per diem job. Aside from studying to receive my certification, I have plenty of time to be with your cute companions, and spend time with them. Who knows, maybe while we’re together we can become the best study buddies. I am extremely flexible and always willing to discuss further if you have interest in booking. As I’ve had plenty of experience with Cats, I’m well aware of choking hazards on string like materials. I try to keep items like this out of reach! I am very clean when it comes to my space and noticed that this helps as some kitty’s can be a little curious and knock things off surfaces. When things are put away correctly there’s less chance for mess or danger. I am still gaining some experience with Dogs and puppies. As far as safety, I only do leashed walks to not only protect your pup but others who may be passing by as well! Again, I'm pretty organized and will avoid leaving items out, especially food! I know some animals are very food motivated and leaving food products out can be dangerous.

About: I have been around dogs and cats all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. We also had several cats growing up including adopted strays. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs and my family's Great Danes. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall of 2026, I am resuming my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.

About: I have had a dog since I was in diapers! I’ve also trained all my dogs on my own and have very well-behaved dogs. I am truly a dog lover and will take care of your dogs as if they’re my own! I am available most weekends, all day. I cannot do during the week for the most part as I have a full-time job, but there is some flexibility with holidays and such. I will follow any instructions given to me to care for your pet in your home. I have a husky with high anxiety, so unfortunately cannot care for your babies in my own home.

About: I’ve had pets in my family from a very young age and love taking care of them. I have four pets of my own and will treat your animals how I would want someone to treat my own! I currently work from my home full time and am available for any drop in visits seven days a week most times of the day I will be extremely cautious when coming in to your home to care for your pet. I will treat your pet(s) like my own and provide a high level of care.
