About: Hello! My name is Ashley and I love pets. I had a lovely hound dog for 14.5 years and have enjoyed the company of various furry critters. I have experience with reactive dogs, larger dogs and also enjoy spending time with cats. I miss spending time with my pup and other dogs. I enjoy morning and evening walks so would love a chance to take your animal out or spend time with them when you're goine. I love to get to know pets and their personalities and respond to the type of care that make them feel secure and loved. I think a good walk is one where the dog has time to enjoy and sniff and come home feeling ready to rest.
“Su was absolutely wonderful with Giro. Giro, that is usually poo shy with new people very quickly felt very comfortable 😃 which is a wonderful sign. Thank you Su! We would definitely love to have you walk Giro again”

“Oliver was great and handled my two weirdo dogs very well. I came home to happy pups and he communicated well. I would love to work with him again, thank you so much Oliver!”
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by both cats and dogs, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have my own sweet, friendly dog Taffy, who absolutely loves making new friends. One of the reasons I joined Rover is to help other pet parents while giving Taffy the chance to socialize and play with visiting pups. With years of hands-on experience, I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, playful, or cuddly, I’m happy to meet them where they are and provide the care they need. Your fur baby will get: ✨ Lots of love and attention ✨ Safe, comfortable walks ✨ Playtime with Taffy (if you choose!) ✨ A calm, dog-friendly home ✨ Regular updates and photos I treat every dog like my own and aim to give you total peace of mind while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup! I WFH. I take my dog for smaller neighborhood walk a few times a day and long walks in the arboretum or dog parks at least once a day. I provide dog sitting at my home. I live at a bright 2 story condo with a yard in a quiet neighborhood. I always leash my dogs when we are out for potty or for sniffing.
About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and other animals from a young age and as an adult I’ve always had pets in my home. I adore animals and love spending time with them. I’ve worked as a vet tech and cared for my own animals who have had medical issues and special needs. I work from home and am flexible for walks and boarding. My own dog, Roary, is a yellow lab who loves other dogs. We're a dog-loving family and our home is comfortable and welcoming. At my home, there's space for dogs' bed, dishes, toys - and plenty of room for them to be comfortable. My backyard is large with a secure fence and plenty of grassy area for them to run and relax.
About: Note that, during the holidays, we will give preference to families requesting a 3+ day stays. Meet and greets are 5-7 min virtual (preferred) or outdoor sessions. We are a very dog-friendly family that have our very own furry friend who might qualify as a ‘Velcro Dog’ and I love it! My little Luna is 6 years old and she would love some company, she will be an excellent host/playmate for your doggie while you are away. As a dog owner, I know how hard is to leave your pet behind while going on vacation so I want you to go worry-free, I will look after your furry family member! Drop off whenever - pick up must be by 6pm. Our day starts early, we will walk him/her at least 3 times/day- 25 mins walks and we do have a fenced in backyard to enjoy and plenty of toys. I have 2 kids, they love their furry sister and know the rules around them very well. If left alone, they will be separated in different rooms. What separate us from a regular kennel setting is that, while at our home, pets are treated like our own, we make sure they are entertained and feel loved.

“Today was my first time with lace G. And my pit bull was very happy. I will definitely be booking another walk. She was very friendly and knowledgable.”
About: Two Summers ago I worked at the zoo as a keeper’s aid in the children zoo farm. I worked with all sorts of animals, but especially with the petting zoo goats. Goats are a lot more like dogs (and some cats) than you might think I’ve walked a goat who did not want to be walked, dogs aren’t so bad I also have experience doing visits for friends’ cats and my neighbor’s dog My own dog Pepper can be quite stubborn (though I love her regardless), so I’ve learned to be patient I love animals, and they tend to like me I’m home from college for winter break, so I’m not too busy. Still sorting out my family’s Christmas plans, but I’ll be free for a couple weeks before the spring semester. Note that Rover counts 6-11AM as one block of time. Realistically I’m available starting around 9:00-9:30 depending on commute time. I always introduce myself to animals gently and try to gain their trust before I get to what needs getting to for more outgoing animals that can be pretty fast, but I’m not afraid to be patient and move slowly I’m well versed in all the basics (cleaning litterboxes, walking dogs, etc.), and a quick learner if your pet has any additional needs :)
