She took great care of my two cats (and my home), and they really liked her based on the numerous pictures she sent where it appeared they were following her around, and not just to the wet food. What's more, Marilyn goes above and beyond. When I left for my trip and Marilyn was to begin residency the following day, my neighbor texted me and showed me that there was a window situation where a cat could escape. Even though her duty started the next day, Marilyn made a special trip to confirm cats were safe, and to fix the window situation. She even washed the bedding and towels I had left her so I wouldn't have to do it when I got home, and she generously allowed my to book two more nights of her care when I wanted to extend my trip. Marilyn is very caring, considerate and flexible. I will definitely be requesting her services again. I recommend her highly as one of the best Rover caretakers I have encountered.”

About: I follow the guidelines of the owner. I am "present" (not distracted) with the dog. I am consistent and caring. I am very aware of the dog's behavior in the range of other pets and people, and adjust our path and pace accordingly. I am recently retired and my scheduled is flexible between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. unless I have scheduled time on the water to sail. Currently, I walked my neighbors dog. When I enter, I am careful to close the door immediately and take time to greet the dog (Mazie, female). I am attentive to details when putting on her harness for both security and comfort. While walking, I follow the instructions of the owner relative to the proximity of other dogs since Mazie is a rescue and can become agitated by other dogs. Maize heels very well for me while we walk and I believe she appreciates that I do not listen to music or use my phone while we walk. I converse with Mazie to ensure she feels companionship as well as experiences exercise.

About: I am a medical student who loves pets! I grew up with dogs in my home and always have one around me if I can help it. Experience boarding and walking dogs of all ages and sizes. Great at giving necessary medications and caring for any needs that arise. I’ve walked for Wag previously. I’m currently out of school for the summer so I’ll be able to fit in dog walks and give lots of love and attention! We have a big backyard so potty breaks will happen often. The weekends almost always work unless I’m out of town. I have a fenced yard. Currently no other pets in the home, but furniture is dog friendly. I’ve raised dogs for 14 years of my life and regularly pet sit for friends and coworkers. From the miniature breeds to the breeds that weigh hundreds of pounds, I’m comfortable with them all.

Lindsay was amazing! Long story short, she took care of our 3 small but high maintenance pets while the family took a long overdue and much needed vacation. She was kind and gentle with our pets. Elizabeth was wonderful with our 10 month old puppy, Max! She made sure Max had plenty of time to get his energy out, took him for multiple walks and had him outside playing with her own dog! Elizabeth gave Max a great experience with socialization and play, which we really appreciated. :) Elizabeth followed care instructions perfectly, was in communication consistently and always shared pictures and videos! She is so kind and was very respectful of our home. Jess was amazing! She was available last-minute and super flexible with timing in terms of arrival and departure. I felt completely comfortable with her staying in our home and caring for our dog Rayne while we were away. We had an unexpected plumbing issue while we were away which Jess handled calmly and patiently on our behalf. I couldn’t recommend her more!
Al is amazing! She house sat for us for 4 nights/5 days, and she took wonderful care of our home and our 3.5-month-old beagle puppy. We set up a meet-and-greet with Al a few weeks before her stay, and we knew we would be in good hands from the moment we met her. Our puppy instantly gravitated towards her, too, and enjoyed playing with her and snuggling with her. Al was communicative throughout her entire stay at our house, sharing text and photo updates with us each day. She’s fun, caring and responsible, and we’re so grateful we found her. We highly recommend her!
I was so glad that Madison was available to watch our dog Molly for our past trip. It was the longest we've ever left her with a sitter which made me nervous but knowing Madison was going to be there with her eased all my worries.
