I like to have a meet with the family first and know the routine and expectations we need to cover. Starting with daily routine, preferences and where could we go in case of an emergency.

Fantastic! Great prep for the visit. Wonderful demeanor. Lots of pics and feedback while I was away. I could not have asked for more and hope he’s available when we’re in need of help the next time.
Luis took good care of my cat Glinda while I was away. She usually will run and hide when she sees strangers but Luis managed to find her and get pictures.
Luis is kind, thoughtful and very patient. It’s no surprise to say that he’s good with dogs, but of our two that he worked with, one is reactive and anxious. Luis did not let that bother him. He was confident and let her approach him at her pace. Never once did he rush their meeting. He clearly understands dogs, and treated our two like individuals, which was really important because they are so different. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
I’m so beyond happy that Luis was available to watch Hallie while I was traveling! He is an excellent communicator and provided me with lots of updates. It made me so happy and more relaxed while on my trip knowing that my girl was having a great time too. His experience working in a fear free setting was incredibly helpful, as my dog is working through some leash reactivity currently. He was so patient with her and made sure to ask questions so he would understand her triggers and how best to try and support her. I’ll definitely be re-booking!
We can not say enough good about Luis and the care he took of our two pets: Baloo (a 4 year old hound dog) and Soupbelly ( a 8 month ish old kitten). We were out of the country for a little over three weeks in which Luis attended to every need of both pets. In addition to the usual care, he also took Baloo to nearby off leash parks, which is his favorite thing to do. In addition to graciously sharing his bed with both pets he spoiled them with treats and outings and kept us up to date with lots of pictures, which were so appreciated. Being so far away, it was a relief to know our pets were so well cared for and loved in our absence. And last but not least, he took great care of our house which was an added bonus!
Luis did a lovely job caring for my dog and cat, and home too. I received lots of updates, and I felt comfortable the whole weekend knowing my kiddos were safe and happy. I would definitely book with Luis again!

Schedule
I work a full time job at a veterinary clinic. When I'm finished with my day I spend my time with my family and pets but I like to be available to help when needed for overnight sitting :)
