About: I’ve found my love for taking care of pets since I was 4 years old. From caring for my first pet as a child to being an aunt to my best friends cat in PA school, I am highly trusted to provide high quality care and unconditional love for any pet in my presence. My schedule is flexible! I’m a physician assistant, so my weeks are a mix of clinic and administrative work. Depending on my schedule, I’m able to stop by before work, during lunch, or after work. I’m also happy to do stay-ins when needed! My weekends tend to be especially flexible as well, and I’m always happy to work with your schedule and accommodate your pets’ needs as much as possible :) My current living space is not equipped to offer care at my home, but I will care for any breed/size/age dog in a client’s home. I am adaptable and willing to do any tasks needed to ensure the pet feels loved, happy, and comfortable.

About: I’ve always had a dog in my life since I was born. I’ve been taking care of them for about as long as I can remember, whether they’re mine or a family/friend’s. I’ve trained my dogs and taken care of all sorts of age ranges, from puppies to 13+ year old dogs. I volunteer part-time so when I’m not volunteering, I try to take the time to do pet care. Since I have the free time, I’m doing it frequently. I have experience taking care of all kinds of dogs. I’ve given dogs meds, I’ve dealt with super hyper dogs that need to be walked for 2 hours to calm down.

“We can not say enough good about Luis and the care he took of our two pets: Baloo (a 4 year old hound dog) and Soupbelly ( a 8 month ish old kitten). We were out of the country for a little over three weeks in which Luis attended to every need of both pets. In addition to the usual care, he also took Baloo to nearby off leash parks, which is his favorite thing to do. In addition to graciously sharing his bed with both pets he spoiled them with treats and outings and kept us up to date with lots of pictures, which were so appreciated. Being so far away, it was a relief to know our pets were so well cared for and loved in our absence. And last but not least, he took great care of our house which was an added bonus!”

About: A fun fact about me is that I’ve cared for over 15 different dog breeds and worked with many more during my time at a veterinary animal hospital, everything from a Great Pyrénées to a Boston Terrier a Short Haired Bernese to a Bichon Frisé. My experience ranges from cozy couch cuddles to cross-country canicross! I also love working with dogs mentally, I taught a Beagle how to weave and perform several other agility tricks, if you know beagles this was quite the accomplishment! Whether your pup is energetic, laid-back, young, or old, I’m comfortable adapting to their personality and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved! As a student, my schedule is pretty flexible, which means I’m often available during daytime hours when many people are at work. I have plenty of time between classes for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and keeping your pets company! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and boundaries so they can feel secure and relaxed with me. Whether we’re out on a walk, playing, or hanging out at home, I’ll make sure they’re in a safe, loving, and comfortable environment.

About: I grown up in a household that has always had dogs. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets since I was 12. I miss taking care of my parents dog, so I would love to take care of yours! I am active so I would love to take your pet on walks or play in the park. I have a fenced in yard and near plenty of parks, and am very aware of my surroundings inside and outside. I work remotely Wednesday through Friday and can schedule walks or sittings around my job. I am also available weekends at any time if day. Im Amanda, lover of all pets young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, even to a play day at the park. I have a pet friendly apartment and a yard. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! I allow them on my bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. “Marilyn is a fantastic sitter and considerate homestay. She took great care of my two cats (and my home), and they really liked her based on the numerous pictures she sent where it appeared they were following her around, and not just to the wet food. What's more, Marilyn goes above and beyond. When I left for my trip and Marilyn was to begin residency the following day, my neighbor texted me and showed me that there was a window situation where a cat could escape. Even though her duty started the next day, Marilyn made a special trip to confirm cats were safe, and to fix the window situation. She even washed the bedding and towels I had left her so I wouldn't have to do it when I got home, and she generously allowed my to book two more nights of her care when I wanted to extend my trip. Marilyn is very caring, considerate and flexible. I will definitely be requesting her services again. I recommend her highly as one of the best Rover caretakers I have encountered.”
