About: I am a Boston nurse looking to spend some time caring for dogs on days off! My schedule is very flexible and open! I typically work 3 days a week so I have many days off!I am open to staying in house to care for the dog! I love walking dogs and helping with house training and play. I grew up with an adorable yellow lab and have helped many families in town with their pets as well. I absolutely love pets (cats and dogs), I love the outdoors and would be more than happy to take pets on several walks throughout the day! I am very trustworthy, responsible and reliable. About: I have been doing Rover for around 4 years now, I’ve taken a break earlier this year, but my schedule is now open for new bookings! A little bit about me: I’ve always been passionate about animal care since I was young. I’ve worked with/owned cats, small animals, and dogs of all sizes and breeds. I took part in a vet assistance course in college, volunteered at my local zoo, and worked at a pet store for a bit before joining Rover! I’m experienced working with disabled, elderly, and medicated pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood (Roslindale) , with plenty of trails and parks for dogs to experience. I also have a spacious grassy backyard that is fully enclosed by a large fence. I currently have a cat in the home that stays upstairs for most of the day, and never interacts with the pets I board. Getting to know your pet: Meet and greets aren’t necessary, but it would be helpful giving me insight about your pet. Some things I would like to know specifically include: - Does your pet take any medications? - How is your pet with other animals? - Is your pet potty trained? - Dietary/allergy restrictions - Feeding and walking schedule - Certain behaviors to look out for During your pets stay, I will include consistent updates and photos to ensure your pet is in good hands! I can cater to pets who cannot be left alone for more than a few hours. I have a fenced in yard, with grass and plenty of room to run around and play! My house is also air conditioned in every room, and there are more than enough couches and beds for your pet to lounge on! I currently have a friendly cat, she tends to stay upstairs ! I provide Lots of balls, toys, bowls, blankets, and chewing toys for the pups!

About: I’ve been doing freelance sittings and dog walking for about two years now. I’ve always enjoyed caring for canines/felines of all breeds, some even with handicaps or special needs. Once I communicate with a pet’s parent and make sure I fully understand their baby’s tendencies and needs, I use those to create a comforting bond between the pet and I so the parent can remain focused on whatever task has them away from their love, and the pet can have a comfortable wait on their return. Pet care is something I do for free a lot with neighbors pets and my own, all the time. My weekends, and weekday evenings are free. I follow all instructions, and make sure all pets needs are communicated clearly. Attention to detail is especially crucial when caring for dogs with particular needs.

About: I follow the guidelines of the owner. I am "present" (not distracted) with the dog. I am consistent and caring. I am very aware of the dog's behavior in the range of other pets and people, and adjust our path and pace accordingly. I am recently retired and my scheduled is flexible between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. unless I have scheduled time on the water to sail. Currently, I walked my neighbors dog. When I enter, I am careful to close the door immediately and take time to greet the dog (Mazie, female). I am attentive to details when putting on her harness for both security and comfort. While walking, I follow the instructions of the owner relative to the proximity of other dogs since Mazie is a rescue and can become agitated by other dogs. Maize heels very well for me while we walk and I believe she appreciates that I do not listen to music or use my phone while we walk. I converse with Mazie to ensure she feels companionship as well as experiences exercise.

I can stop by your home to care for your dogs and cats during the day, whether that means going for a walk or run, playtime, feeding, or just checking in to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I’m an active person, so your dogs will always get plenty of exercise if needed, while your cats will get the attention and affection they deserve. About: I've taken care of and have a love for dogs ever since I was little. I have 4 dogs that I help take care of when visiting home. I also have watched my neighbors dogs regarding feeding and playing time. I have a love for dogs, and enjoy spending my time with them.
