About: I've always had pets in the home for my entire life, from cats and dogs to hamsters and fish. I'm comfortable visiting your pets multiple times daily, taking dogs on walks, and caring after cats and other pets. I have a very flexible schedule so I am able to care for your pets during most hours and most days. I am available on both weekdays and weekends. I care for pets in your home, and whether it's dogs, cats, or another pet, my goal is to make sure that your pet feels safe with someone new entering the home. I am always careful and calm when meeting new pets. I will make sure that expectations for pet care are followed exactly as given.

About: I have a deep love for all animals, and bond quickly with them. I'm patient and caring, as well as responsible and cautious. I over communicate and will send tons of updates, pictures and videos. I live and work downtown; I am within a few blocks of my apartment and can be flexible to walk and drop in during the day. I have ring cameras that I can set up in my home for boarding, or in your home for day visits, to give piece of mind that your pets are well looked after. I'm happy to board or visit your pets at their home! I have a city apartment with great windows, hardwood floors, lots of sunlight and tons of comfy spaces for kitties/dogs to get comfortable! I am happy visiting in your home as well, and will adjust my cadence to what your pet prefers. I have owned a multitude of species and breeds and have experience with senior animals and their conditions. I have experience and am comfortable dosing and administering insulin to both dogs and cats, as well as caring for visually impaired animals. I am currently looking for part-time work, so I have and will continue to have lots of time to walk and play with your animals. My own animals function best on a routine, so I will be happy to try my hardest to stick to your own pets. I understand that pets are important members of the family, and I treat my own as such, and will treat yours as well. The most important thing is keeping everyone safe, which means careful consideration for how we interact, on their terms. I have experience with medical conditions and am comfortable administering any needed medications, as well as know warning signs that an animal may be stressed. As we know, Boston can be warm, supplying water for walks and outside time is a necessity.

Kayla is wonderful! Our 10-month-old puppy, Mochi, is always so excited when she gets to go out with Kayla. Mochi can be reactive when she gets too close to certain triggers, such as birds or other dogs, but Kayla follows our walker’s guide carefully and handles her with patience and confidence.
