About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was in 5th grade. Whether I went to the owners house or they came to mine, I treated them with love and kindness. I’ve worked with little, medium, and big dogs, and they have been long term clients! People actually call me the dog whisperer! I have college classes Monday, Wednesday, annd Fridays. Other than that, i will be home with your pups! they can relax with me around the house or go out with me for errands or anything else! I treat them with love and plenty of play time! Dogs are allowed on our beds and furniture, so they will get lots of cuddles! I allow them to explore the house so they can get comfortable in the new environment and let them warm up to me so they are not scared. I have a big park just right across from me, I am in a very walkable neighborhood, so they will get great walks. I also have a big back porch they can lounge around!

As a former dog mom to my late min pin, I’m experienced with managing anxious or reactive dogs, oral medications, food allergies, and other special needs. I adore all pets, but have a soft spot for seniors and little guys. 🐕 I’m conveniently located between Back Bay & South End and WFH full-time. I work from home full-time and can provide a high and personalized level of care and attention to your animal during the week or on weekends! I take care of every animal as if they were my own and follow owner instructions to a tee. In my home, I have stairs if an animal needs assistance getting on the bed or couch and have a crate that comfortably fits medium sized dogs or smaller. I do live up several flights of stairs, so please let me know if your pet would need to be carried down for walks.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Maria and McAben! My husband and I were in Boston for work for a week and brought our three-year-old miniature dachshund, Enzo, along with us. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed someone to care for him during the day for three consecutive days — and Maria and McAben were absolutely incredible. From the very start, they made us feel completely at ease. Leaving your dog with new people can be nerve-wracking, but we felt 100% confident and comfortable the entire time. Their apartment is welcoming and dog-friendly, and it was clear that Enzo was treated like part of the family. They showered him with cuddles and attention, sent frequent photo updates, and checked in thoughtfully throughout the day. Their communication was outstanding — proactive, warm, and reassuring. It meant so much to know he was not only safe, but genuinely happy and loved. Maria and McAben are truly wonderful people who clearly care deeply about the dogs they look after. We are visiting Boston for the weekend and needed a daycare for our Chloe so we can visit museums and avoid stressing our furbaby due to the nor’easter rain and keep her warm. We decided last minute to do so and Cindy was available to care for her. She provided us with updates, followed instructions and is very responsive to our messages. Highly recommend booking her. She was absolutely amazing with Smooky! She sent me lots of pictures and updates throughout his stay which was so reassuring and made me feel completely comfortable knowing he was in good hands. She’s incredibly sweet, caring, and attentive and Smooky seemed so happy and relaxed with her. I would definitely trust her with him again and highly recommend her!
Hannah has sat several times for my dog now, and as a frequent Rover pet parent, I can say she is one of the very best sitters I have had in the Boston area. I reached out to William at the last minute the night before I needed care in a pinch. He was responsive and asked thoughtful questions as we made our plans, and made drop off and pickup easy. More importantly, he shared wonderful updates throughout the day on how well my dog was doing, and I think his demeanor and confidence with my sometimes anxious and barky dog put him at ease so that he had a wonderful day socializing with other dogs. I would absolutely book with William again!
Wendy was overwhelmingly gracious with me when I made a major error using the app to schedule. Really above and beyond both in accommodating me AND not making me feel bad at all. And given that my dog didn’t want to leave her to get back in the car with me at the end of the visit, she clearly did an incredible job caring for him. ✨💖 I know I got lots of regular photos and videos but seeing him look back longing at her says the most.
Andy and Ellen were so easy and wonderful to work with🐾💕…One of our dogs had never been boarded before and was a little snippy to their sweet Mango dog at first, but they mediated the situation and were able to reassure us that it would settle down, and it did. Our dogs got plenty of outside time in their fenced-in backyard, and walks. And they administered my older dogs meds daily with her meals as needed. Most of all, they were extremely accommodating to our ever-shifting plans, which was such a relief to us, as they happily allowed us to drop the dogs off, or pick them up at wildly differing times than we had initially planned. This took a lot of stress away from us during our Boston stay. They are lovely friendly communicative people - we got some sweet doggie photo updates - and I would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them and their helpful services.
Cameron is an incredible dog sitter and so easy to work with. I had a few changes to one of my bookings and he was so gracious and flexible. When a flight delay casused several last-minute changes to our booking, he was gracious, flexible and extremely communicative throughout. Tuck loves spending time with Cameron and Rosie, and Cameron is so caring and shares plenty of photos. I can't say enough good things!
Thank you Gina for taking care of Bruce while we were have having 2 hours of “we” time while visiting the city. We highly recommend Gina to anyone that is looking for someone to take care of their senior dog. Our dog Bruce will definitely go back next time when we visit Boston again!
