About: Hi! I’m Betsy. I currently have a playful miniature dachshund who loves making new friends, so your pup will always have a buddy by their side! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and truly can’t imagine life without them. I live with my partner who is a fellow lover of dogs, so there will always be someone there to give your little one all the love and care they need (and deserve)! I can’t wait to meet your fur-babies and make them feel right at home! I update my calendar 3 months out at a time. If looking further, and see only unavailable don’t be alarmed! As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m currently on summer break, so I have even more availability than usual. I also have a part-time research assistant position that takes me out of the house two days per week for about three hours at a time. During those times, my partner works from home and is always there with the dogs, so they are never left alone. We both have extensive experience caring for dogs, and our own dog is a big part of our daily routine. Between the two of us, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, care, and attention throughout their stay. I live in an apartment with easy access to several green spaces and walking routes, making potty breaks and walks a natural part of the day. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment where dogs can settle in and feel at home. Whether we’re out exploring the neighborhood or relaxing indoors, your dog’s well-being, routine, and comfort will always come first.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up beside them and learned how to care for them at a very early age. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, personalities, ages; from dogs who were my family, from my friend’s dogs to dogs belonging to people in my local community. Since I’ve been living in Boston for almost a year now, I have scouted out great routes to walk dogs to local spots for play and enjoyment, especially in nature. Special skills include dog breed knowledge, basic commands training, clicker training, animal welfare, and basic wilderness first aid training. I work from home 70% of the time and my schedule is wonderfully quite flexible. I am able to meet basic needs like potty breaks or walks and easily adjust my routine around the dog’s needs. I have worked with many different dog personalities and characteristics before and can take care of your dog however needed. I allow dogs on the bed and couch, have plenty of treats on hand, have many pet friendly locations nearby to take them, etc.
