About: **Please note that there may be a foster dog in the home at the time of your request.** I have had dogs since childhood, and have been a foster at Last Hope K9 rescue organization for the past few years. I have experience training and taking care of senior dogs, puppies, and dogs with medical needs. I am currently working remotely with a very flexible work schedule, so I am able and happy to work my schedule around for the pups in my care. I am always aware and attentive, and maintain a calm and reassuring presence for the dogs. About: I grew up with 2 Yorkies and bulldogs! I love dogs with my life. Dogs are like family to me. One of my Yorkies (they both live in my hometown) passed away recently due to her age, so I do know how to properly take care of dogs even when it comes to senior dogs or even puppies. I am always available to take care of dogs! I live with my boyfriend who works at home so he is available in case I’m not home. I go to law school so sometimes it does get busy but I’m always happy to take care of a baby (pet)! I take care of pets at my home by providing them a place for them to be able to sleep comfortably and play with their toys. I also think that talking to them calms them down and makes them more comfortable. Dogs are really smart and they do understand rules if you explain it to them!
“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Maria and McAben! My husband and I were in Boston for work for a week and brought our three-year-old miniature dachshund, Enzo, along with us. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed someone to care for him during the day for three consecutive days — and Maria and McAben were absolutely incredible. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up beside them and learned how to care for them at a very early age. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, personalities, ages; from dogs who were my family, from my friend’s dogs to dogs belonging to people in my local community. We had a great experience with Margaret! She watched Josh for daycare and was incredibly patient, caring, and attentive throughout the day. Josh is still a puppy and can be a lot at times, but she treated him like he was her own and made him feel completely comfortable. I felt very confident leaving him with her and would absolutely book with her again!
Roman had a wonderful time! I loved the updates and the pictures throughout his stay! It definitely makes my fur mom heart a little more settled knowing the great care he is in and updates on what he’s doing during his time! Definitely came home nice and sleepy!!
I am very happy with Lynn's care of Fiona. Her attentiveness and care for our 9-month-old puppy was evident, and--even more important--Fiona seemed to thoroughly enjoy her day with Lynn (which was long: from 8am to 8pm). A few days before the 'big day' Lynn arranged a 'meet and greet' at a nearby park, and Fiona took to her immediately. So, when it came time for us to leave Fiona in Lynn's care, the transition was seamless, and Fiona went along happily. I will definitely ask Lynn to watch Fiona on my future trips to Cambridge/Somerville.
Mirabel was amazing with our crazy 8 month old lab. He has so much energy. We appreciate her time and dedication to him today! She took him on a walk and did commands. He loved her! My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the care that was provided for our fur baby!

Teddy lover staying with Lauren for day care! I will definitely be using her again on a regular basis for my long shifts. William and Krystal have been watching my three-year-old dachshund, Enzo, every week for the past month or so, and I truly cannot recommend them enough. They are incredibly thoughtful and communicative in the best possible way. I never worry when Enzo is with them because they consistently share updates, photos, and details about how he’s doing, which gives me so much peace of mind. They genuinely treat Enzo like he’s their own — taking him to the park, giving him so much love and attention, and making sure he’s happy and comfortable. Enzo can be pretty anxious, so it says a lot that he’s always so calm, relaxed, and excited to see them. They’re also extremely observant and attentive to his needs, which I really appreciate as an anxious dog mom myself. They’ve even given Enzo baths before, which is such a thoughtful touch and just shows how much they care. I completely trust them with my dog, and more importantly, Enzo clearly trusts and loves them too. I would highly recommend William and Krystal to anyone looking for caring, reliable, and genuinely wonderful pet sitters.
Katie is fantastic!! We wish we could rate her more than 5 stars!! Our 7-month puppy had never been in anyone else’s house, and we had no idea what to expect. We are also first-time pup moms, so we were very nervous. Katie was very understanding and attentive with him, and gave us updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day! We felt at ease knowing our puppy was under her care. When we came to pick him up he seemed to have had a great time and looked very comfortable with her :) You can tell she cares deeply about dogs, and their comfort and safety! Absolutely fantastic experience.
Alexandra was great. Communication was prompt and clear. She took my dog for a “get to know each other walk” right after drop-off. Another walk right before pick-up. I felt complete confidence in Alexandra and would absolutely book again if I needed dog-care in Boston.
