“This is a sad review to write only because it will be Charlie’s last stay with Ilya for a while since we are moving away from Cambridge. For the last year, Ilya has been rock solid reliable as a sitter for Charlie, always responding in minutes and always accommodating for last minute stays and changing work plans and cancelled flights. Charlie sees the bag come out and gets so excited that he’s going to visit Ilya and his rotating group of pups. During the stay I get frequent updates and the cutest photos. He comes home happy and calm from a fun stay playing with friendly dogs and frequent walks. I would highly recommend Ilya and only wish we were staying in Cambridge longer so Charlie could keep up his visits!!”

She made sure to walk him in quiet areas during less busy times, and her home is quiet and peaceful, which I'm sure helped Monty a ton. She had no problem giving him two different medications every morning, and he got so much love all weekend. We got so many pictures of Monty snuggling with Brooklynn and Adam - so cute! It was like he went to the spa for the weekend - we would love for her to watch Monty again!”

About: I have had my own dogs since I was young and have always taken care of neighbors, friends, and family animals. I miss having a dog to go on long walks with! I work full time Monday through Friday but I am an early riser so I love to walk in the morning. I end my work day at 5 so I also have a huge amount of time after work for a long walk! I have always had a dog of my own so I’m familiar with crating dogs, allowing them in certain areas of homes. I always use a leash and poop bags, even if just letting a dog out in the yard! My apartment currently does not allow dogs.

About: I am a very passionate cat mom of two sweet tabby boys who understand that we all always want the best for our kitties! I got my first cat five years ago when he was seven weeks old and my second earlier this year when he was six months old, so I have a lot of experience taking care of kittens. Since I travel a lot, I know how big of a deal it can be to trust someone else with your cats, and I want to be that person for someone else. I have cat who insists on having ice cubes in his water and likes to have me watch him eat, so I am very accustomed to tending to cats' quirks. I have cared for both of my cats through surgeries, including applying warm compresses and administering medicine (even to a picky eater). I feed my cats both wet and dry food so I am very familiar with serving both. However, I have had dogs for my whole life and am very experienced in their care as well. I have cared for dogs with anxiety, as well as cared for senior pets. I am comfortable administering medicine and following special diets. I have also been walking dogs since I was a kid and would love to take your pet for a spin. I am a graduate student and I teach an undergraduate course. My classes are at night twice a week, and I teach for two afternoons during the week. The rest of my time is free to do homework, write, work, and take care of my own fur babies. I will care for your pets by playing with them and helping them get some of that energy out or sitting beside them and just giving them pets and keeping them company. About: I've always had a dog growing up, lived with cats for many years, and have been house sitting for four years in many states across the US! I don't have any pets, children, plants, etc. to take care of that are my own - so very available for other peoples pets! About: I have had my own dog since I was born, and through this I fell in love with pets. I then started the care end of it on a smaller scale and then improved once I got more clients. I would go to client's house while they were on vacation to take care of their pets, i.e. walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, and entertainment. I would also walk dogs that needed a break in the day while their parents were away at work. I even started my own dog walking business junior year, but I have a small community so it didn't take off. I got a few replies from this, and did the best of my ability to get there in a timely manner. I hope to end up doing it on a bigger scale this summer and gain even more experience with dogs. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs always in my house. Now that I have my own family I haven’t had a cat or dog of my own yet and it would be nice to be around some furry friends again ❤️ I currently work in back bay in Boston 4 days a week and I pick up shifts as well. I was looking forward to doing short walks on my lunch break hour since I am always walking around during my lunch break anyways. I also would like to do long walks after my shift is done for the day. If I can house sit as well that could be great as I will be in Boston anyways and it would help me with my commute I will not care for pets in my home.
