“We had a great experience with Elizabeth and Rodrigo! There was daily communication as well as photo updates — our dog looked right at home! We had total peace of mind while we were away. Murphy already can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!”

“Julie was amazing, it’s no wonder she has star sitter status! I always get nervous leaving my dog with new people, but she sent lots of pictures and updates about how he was doing. Seymour came home so content and relaxed!”

“Absolutely thrilled with the care Zwany and Leandro provided for my two dogs over the weekend! From start to finish, they went above and beyond. They kept me updated daily with photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. They treated my pups like their own, showering them with attention and affection. I was especially impressed with the thoughtful report card they gave me at the end, detailing how the dogs did during their stay. It's clear they love what they do, and I can't recommend them enough. I'll definitely be rebooking their services in the future!”

“Jagger loved Victoria, he had so much fun, and was so well taken care of!! He was in a loving and safe environment, so I was able to enjoy my trip worry free! Victoria was great at sending updates and pictures. I hope Jagger will be able to stay with Victoria again soon!! It was a wonderful experience!”

“John is the best sitter we could ask for! Our dog loves him and he spoils her with affection and lots of walks. We have now trusted him with a short trip and now a much longer trip. He provides great updates and makes us feel at ease leaving our baby. I would recommend him to any dog owner!”

“Kimberly and Brian were wonderful! They took sent lots of updates and pictures of my pup and took great care of him. With a senior dog who has to take medication morning and night, it was a relief to have him in such good friends. And he and their dog, Lola, became buds by the end of it. Would absolutely recommend them!”

“Charlie had a great stay with Christina! I was nervous leaving Charlie and Christina sent photos throughout the stay so I could see what she was up to. Charlie had lots of walkies and snuggles and enjoyed her visit.”

“Pluto had an amazing time with Ruya and Aybark! I was nervous to leave him in boarding as he has separation anxiety, but they took such good care of him and made him feel at ease. It was also very easy to keep in touch and they sent pictures of him throughout his stay. Overall, a great experience!”

“This was our second time leaving our dog with Xiaoyuan and William. Our dog is very anxious and slow to warm up to new people but he settled in so quickly with them! They sent so many super cute videos, pictures, and updates while we were away which we loved! Definitely will rebook with them again.”

“This is a sad review to write only because it will be Charlie’s last stay with Ilya for a while since we are moving away from Cambridge. For the last year, Ilya has been rock solid reliable as a sitter for Charlie, always responding in minutes and always accommodating for last minute stays and changing work plans and cancelled flights. Charlie sees the bag come out and gets so excited that he’s going to visit Ilya and his rotating group of pups. During the stay I get frequent updates and the cutest photos. He comes home happy and calm from a fun stay playing with friendly dogs and frequent walks. I would highly recommend Ilya and only wish we were staying in Cambridge longer so Charlie could keep up his visits!!”

“Jing and her husband were great. They took great care of my dog for the week. Their house is in a great location and their fenced yard was great for my dog who is not always the best off leash. They clearly care for dogs. I would definitely find Jing again!”

“Our pup had the best time with Lyn! She kept us updated with fun pictures and was very flexible when we had a travel delay—we’d definitely bring Marty back the next time we’re out of town.”

“Vanessa was great - our first time leaving our 8 year old terrier mix with her and we felt totally comfortable and at peace the whole time. From meeting Vanessa you can tell she’s extremely processional, knowledgeable, and compassionate; asking all the right questions to ensure the best stay for your pet and the easiest time away for you. She sent plenty of pictures and provided updates over the course of her stay. Our dog even shamelessly got right into bed and snuggled with Vanessa all night 😂 We will definitely reach out to Vanessa again!”

“Cindy was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Bear! She was able to accommodate a last-minute request, which we really appreciated. Throughout his stay, she sent daily updates with photos and videos so we always knew how he was doing, and she responded quickly to all of my messages. It was clear that she genuinely cared about him and spent lots of time giving him attention and snuggles. Bear was very well cared for, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was with her. We will definitely be reaching out to Cindy again in the future and would highly recommend both her and her brother to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Brooklynn and Adam are amazing!! My dog is anxious and leash reactive, but he had no problems staying with Brooklynn. She made sure to walk him in quiet areas during less busy times, and her home is quiet and peaceful, which I'm sure helped Monty a ton. She had no problem giving him two different medications every morning, and he got so much love all weekend. We got so many pictures of Monty snuggling with Brooklynn and Adam - so cute! It was like he went to the spa for the weekend - we would love for her to watch Monty again!”

“Tyler and his fiancé went above and beyond and seemed like our Yuki had an amazing time ☺️ regular updates and pictures were always included and he even offered to drop her off the next day, which was so so sweet of them to do! Highly recommend and we will definitely book again for sure!”
“Wonderful experience. Sarah took in our two pups on a last minute booking for the weekend, made sure she had all the details about their care, and sent pictures of how well they were doing. We were confident they were in good hands.”

“Thank you so much for watching Harley! I could tell immediately that she felt comfortable/trusted you when I dropped her off and it made such a difference in allowing me to enjoy my trip. She’s already eaten the treat you sent her home with.”

“Lily did an amazing job taking care of my shy cat Cinnamon. She was very communicative and provided very detailed updates and lots of great photos. She was responsive to my questions and really took the time to make sure Cinnamon was comfortable and happy. I was confident that she was in good hands with Lily and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Erin did an amazing job taking care of our guy. She was great at communicating when she’d given his medication and sent tons of photos. Not only that, he warmed up to her immediately and clearly loved her company. She so far exceeded our expectations - anyone (or cat) would be lucky to work with Erin!”

About: I have had my own dogs since I was young and have always taken care of neighbors, friends, and family animals. I miss having a dog to go on long walks with! I work full time Monday through Friday but I am an early riser so I love to walk in the morning. I end my work day at 5 so I also have a huge amount of time after work for a long walk! I have always had a dog of my own so I’m familiar with crating dogs, allowing them in certain areas of homes. I always use a leash and poop bags, even if just letting a dog out in the yard! My apartment currently does not allow dogs.
“Georgia was great and took amazing care of Fig and Pesto on short notice! She sent lots of great photo and video updates every day and was very responsive. She reached out with questions to confirm our cats preferences and made them feel at home. We will certainly book with Georgia again in the future!”

“Arianna is great with our senior cat! When we needed to add on a few additional drop in visits during our last trip she was very accommodating. Highly recommend her as a sitter!”

“Jenna is a very reliable sitter for my bunnies! She helped me out in a pinch when another sitter bailed, and always sends such cute pictures of the buns. Would definitely recommend!”

“Sarah asked so many thoughtful questions and took great care of my cat!! She sent lots of pictures and I would absolutely feel comfortable leaving him with her again. Definitely recommend!”

“Ashley was fabulous with our 2 high energy kitties. She gave them lots of love and they seemed to have a lot of fun playing with her. We will absolutely have her watch them again!”

“Anna was a fantastic pet-sitter and I'm so glad I chose her to care for my cat Betty. Anna was excellent! She was responsive, communicative in booking, came over for a intro visit, and followed all the care instructions. She sent thorough updates on each visit, sent pictures, and really bonded with my (grumpy) cat. I loved her updates on my cat's behavior, bowel movements, and eating/drinking habits. I felt incredibly comfortable knowing I had her as a pet sitter, which is something all pet owners seek. I definitely recommend Anna for cat drop-in visits and intend to book her for future travel. Thank you Anna!”

“Thanks so much to Alyssa for taking such good care of Gandalf! He was very happy and well cared for I was happy to see how much he enjoyed his time. Would definitely love to have her care for him again!”

“Sasha was our kitty’s guardian angel while my fiancé and I went away on a very last minute week-long trip aboard. My kitty is notorious for being a diva and takes time to warm up to new people - but when Sasha sent pics of Olivia affectionately cuddling with her, my heart melted and I knew we picked the right cat sitter! Sasha was incredibly thorough with her daily reports and shared 15+ pics each time. It lessened the separation anxiety WE had while we were away. Thanks so much Sasha for giving Olivia the TLC she needed and giving us peace of mind.”

“Emily was a very good cat sitter for my cats! ✨She communicated a lot, sent regular photos, and gave clear updates. I felt very reassured throughout our time away, and she was always easy to reach. Thank you, Emily!!”

“Jessica was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely communicative throughout the whole trip, and Rick absolutely loved her — she was even able to brush out a knot in his fur (and he usually hates being brushed!). We will be using Jessica again! ❤️”

“Daria was amazing! She sent us tons of pictures of Dakiti throughout the day, and he looked so happy in every single one. She and Kova were the perfect match for Dakiti's energy, exactly what he needed. We can't thank Daria enough, and we'll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Our first Roover experience for us and we are so happy about Vienna's stay! Jim and his four years old little boy took amazing care of her and shared some cute videos at the park playing with her favorite ball over the day. We felt super relieved to see that she had a great day and was not too difficult (2 year old high energy golden at home and we were a bit anxious to give her away for a day). Everything went really well and we can't recommend enough Jim! We will use him again next time we need it! :)”

“Anastasia was amazing!! Visiting Boston for my bday Nervous to leave our puppy but she was so incredible with Bella and sent us updates all day! Thank you!”

About: Have years of experience with dog sitting and walking dogs from pitbull puppies to rotweillers to aging shitzus. I will love and care for ur furry friends as deeply as you do. I currently work hybrid, but am a highly active individual and often go for 2-3 walks a day, on top of daily exercises and running/hiking. I don’t have pets of my own. This is partly to scratch the itch of getting a dog permanently. I treat dogs like they’re family. That includes plenty of pets, affection, boundaries when necessary, and treats.
“Shuhua (Cindy) took great care of our dog Sesame! Our dog has separation anxiety, and Cindy was very communicative, thoughtful, considerate, and friendly! She sent lots of pictures throughout the day and created a great space for Sesame to feel calm while we were away. Will definitely book again!”

“Y Tran has taken care of Kiko many times, and I always feel completely at peace leaving him with her. She truly loves Kiko, and it shows in the way she cares for him. She constantly sends me tons of pictures and updates, which makes me feel very reassured and connected while I’m away. She takes Kiko on many walks, gives him lots of attention, and he always looks so happy with her. What I appreciate most is that she does everything with genuine love and care, and it’s very noticeable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and attentive for their pet.”

“A truly 5 star experience. Cameron was easy to communicate with and work with. Just off vibe alone I knew my dog was in good hands when he was picked up. Throughout the day I was consistently updated with photos and videos of my dog out and about. I highly highly recommend Cameron to anyone in need of a dog-sitter. Next time I’m in Boston I will 100% be reaching out to him first. Finn will miss Cameron and Rosie a ton!!! 5 stars!!”

“Tiffany and Steve took such great care of Cooper. They sent a lot of pictures throughout the day. They also trained him and played with him. And followed his routine with walks, meal time and snacks. They made sure Cooper felt at home. I’m glad I found them on Rover. I was at ease as Cooper is generally anxious of meeting new people, but he settled in very well with them.”

“Yogi had such a wonderful time! It was obvious how much fun he had and how well cared for he was. Ruya went above and beyond with updates, sending lots of photos and videos. Their communication was excellent, and it was clear they treated our pup like their own. We’re so appreciative and will definitely recommend and book again!”

“If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Greta was absolutely AMAZING. Great communication, and an extremely happy pup when I picked her up. Thank you so much Greta for taking care of my Gracie as if she were your own.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover my whole life, growing up with all kinds of dogs, from bulldogs to german shepherds. I’m good with high and low energy dogs of all sizes, supplying pets, walks, and treats to make your pups forget how much they miss you! I’m especially experienced with senior dogs and the extra care they require, especially those with limited mobility. Because I work from home your pups will rarely be alone, which helps me stay on top of potty breaks, playtime, and any other needs your pets have! Because I work from home, I am able to take close care of your furry friends. I do like to go to the gym in the morning for about an hour, but am usually in one spot for the rest of the day so your pets won’t be alone and can have all their needs met. I’m happy to take breaks to walk/play. I am very respectful and comfortable in new environments and am happy to work with you and your pet’s needs. I’ve mostly pet-sat in other peoples homes in my hometown, so I am very used to following the guidelines you are comfortable with. I am easily reachable and responsive, and like to send check in photos at your convenience!
“Indrajeet accepted our reservation at the last minute, which ended up being wonderful luck for us. What a kind and caring dog sitter. Monk and LouLou were immediately at ease. Fear not and book now. A wonderful experience!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets for 10+ years. I’ve done so professionally with clients in New York City. I’ve worked with different types of pets from cats to dogs. Additionally, I’ve worked with animals that are elderly or need more care. Recently I took care of a frenchie and bulldog duo for years! I’m a PhD student! I am flexible, reliable, and I love routines so I am happy to follow what your pet needs. I love being able to spend time with dogs! My house is very organized and clean. I know how animals cannot eat certain foods or need a safe safe. So I am willing to provide all of that!
“Antonio was so sweet and awesome with our dog. She was able to accommodate us so quickly and I felt at ease knowing our dog was well taken care of. Will definitely book Antonia again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up in a home full of pets and has volunteered with animal shelters since childhood. As a former dog mom to my late min pin, I’m experienced with managing anxious or reactive dogs, oral medications, food allergies, and other special needs. I adore all pets, but have a soft spot for seniors and little guys. 🐕 I’m conveniently located between Back Bay & South End and WFH full-time. I work from home full-time and can provide a high and personalized level of care and attention to your animal during the week or on weekends! I take care of every animal as if they were my own and follow owner instructions to a tee. In my home, I have stairs if an animal needs assistance getting on the bed or couch and have a crate that comfortably fits medium sized dogs or smaller. I do live up several flights of stairs, so please let me know if your pet would need to be carried down for walks.
“Andrew & Ellen were great! Super flexible, responsive and great dogs parents. Ophelia a blast playing with sweet Mango. I will definitely book another puppy date! :) Highly recommend.”

“Thank you Vanessa. This was Mia's first time around other dogs and I was a little nervous leaving her. Then I received a picture of her from Vanessa and I felt better. Her report annotated pee pee breaks and interaction with other fur babies. I asked how was everything and Vanessa said everything went well. I asked are we welcomed back and she said oh yes. 😆🤗 thanks again Vanessa.”

“My dog loves Faith! Faith took great care of my dog. She’s is a good communicator, is proactive and punctual. I felt at ease knowing my baby was in her care. I vety much appreciated her pictures from their walks!”

About: I am a very passionate cat mom of two sweet tabby boys who understand that we all always want the best for our kitties! I got my first cat five years ago when he was seven weeks old and my second earlier this year when he was six months old, so I have a lot of experience taking care of kittens. Since I travel a lot, I know how big of a deal it can be to trust someone else with your cats, and I want to be that person for someone else. I have cat who insists on having ice cubes in his water and likes to have me watch him eat, so I am very accustomed to tending to cats' quirks. I have cared for both of my cats through surgeries, including applying warm compresses and administering medicine (even to a picky eater). I feed my cats both wet and dry food so I am very familiar with serving both. However, I have had dogs for my whole life and am very experienced in their care as well. I have cared for dogs with anxiety, as well as cared for senior pets. I am comfortable administering medicine and following special diets. I have also been walking dogs since I was a kid and would love to take your pet for a spin. I am a graduate student and I teach an undergraduate course. My classes are at night twice a week, and I teach for two afternoons during the week. The rest of my time is free to do homework, write, work, and take care of my own fur babies. I am very good at scheduling myself and would love to work your pets into my schedule. I will care for your pets by playing with them and helping them get some of that energy out or sitting beside them and just giving them pets and keeping them company. I know each pet is different and has different things they need through out the day. For cats, I can clean the litter boxes. For dogs, I can take them outside to go. I will always make sure that the food and water bowls are full and clean, and that your pet is comfortable when I leave.
About: Growing up in a multi-dog household, dogs weren’t just pets to me, but they’re my best friends. I am deeply familiar with the day-to-day realities of dog care and naturally understand canine behavior and routines. For puppies, I seamlessly reinforce house-training, crate routines, and basic manners. For older dogs, I bring the patience needed for senior care, including managing slow mobility and following strict medication schedules. Living with multiple dogs has taught me to read subtle body language, so I know exactly when a dog is anxious, over-stimulated or just needs quiet space. My job provides me a unique schedule that fits perfectly into pet care because I often work weekends, I have dedicated days off in the middle of the week. Additionally I work from home one day a week. This setup gives me exceptions midweek flexibility that a standard 9-5 sitter does not have. On my days off and WFH days, pet care is my primary focus. I am fully available for midday walks, daytime drop in visits, or keeping a house-sitting puppy company without the disruption of a strict office schedule. I update my Rover calendar constantly to reflect my weekly event shifts to ensure availability is always accurate and reliable for you. I take pride in learning and replicating your exact house rules, feeding schedules, and favorite walking loops. I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure while you are away. I am able to offer your dog true, focused companionship during the daytime hours when they miss you the most.
“Sasha was wonderful again with my dog Yoshi! She is so reliable and I trust her completely with Yoshi. She takes so many lovely pictures and gives a very thorough description of what my dog was up to! She clearly loves dogs and always gives him extra cuddles!”

About: I've always had a dog growing up, lived with cats for many years, and have been house sitting for four years in many states across the US! I don't have any pets, children, plants, etc. to take care of that are my own - so very available for other peoples pets! Outside of pet sitting, I am a Clinical Psychology PhD Student at Suffolk University. I have class all day Monday, but am flexible Tuesday through Friday. *Disclaimer: I do not currently own a car! In the clients home, I always respect the space and am sure to leave the space cleaner than I found it, but open to client preferences with what to clean versus leave be 😊
“Alyssa was fantastic!! Took the time to meet my pup & go over instructions. She did great my dog & I always came home to a very happy & tired dog. Would definitely recommend booking with her”

About: For the last 5 years my Sphinx cat Miso has joined me on my adventures in LA, NYC, and our new home in Beacon Hill. But Miso is not my first pet. I grew with my three sisters, Mom, Dad, and 6 bulldogs, a Great Dane, a bull terrier, an adopted cat, and a bunny. I am familiar with dogs that require special care and comfortable with larger dogs. I am active and love exploring the city via walking and jogging and your dog would be great company. Excited to meet your fur baby :) My schedule is flexible. I make my own schedule and I can adjust as needed.I am available weekdays (Monday- Friday) and weekends (Saturday and Sunday). I I make sure to have all required instructions before caring for you pet and follow all directions given prior and/or during the meet and great. Every visit I send pictures and updates of your pet.
“Muller can be a little apprehensive about strangers and Alice was able to settle him down and get him on a walk. She is great, and we will definitely schedule walks in the future!”

About: I have had my own dog since I was born, and through this I fell in love with pets. I then started the care end of it on a smaller scale and then improved once I got more clients. I would go to client's house while they were on vacation to take care of their pets, i.e. walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, and entertainment. I would also walk dogs that needed a break in the day while their parents were away at work. I even started my own dog walking business junior year, but I have a small community so it didn't take off. I got a few replies from this, and did the best of my ability to get there in a timely manner. I hope to end up doing it on a bigger scale this summer and gain even more experience with dogs. I am available all day to check in on your pets as frequently as you would like. I just finished a grad school program and am currently looking at applying to others so I wanted the time in between to be filled with work that I really enjoy. I have a great respect for people’s home and personal items. I understand it can be difficult to let a stranger into your home to care for your animal who often means the world to you however I will work hard to make you and your furry friend comfortable!
“She was one of the best people we have ever had care for our dog. We asked for her help last minute with some dog walks, and she was punctual, thoughtful, very gentle with our sensitive dog, and very reliable. I would highly recommend her!”

About: A lifelong dog lover with experience adopting, fostering, shelter volunteering, and boarding dogs. I’ve helped many pups find homes and truly enjoy caring for every dog I meet. I am a student with a flexible schedule, and I make time daily for pet care. Walking dogs, including high-energy breeds, easily fits into my routine, and I enjoy providing them with the exercise, attention, and care they need. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and trustworthy environment. I follow your pet’s routine, give lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable in their own space.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I love getting to know every pet's unique personality and making them feel safe, loved, and right at home. I'm home throughout the week, so your pet will have plenty of time for playtime, cuddles, walks, and one-on-one attention. I love spending my days with animals and making them feel right at home. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll create a calm, comfortable environment where they can relax, feel secure, and simply be themselves.
“I can’t say enough good things about Dejah. She is responsible and communicative, very reliable, and always patient with my dog. An amazing dog walker and a great person for your animal!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs always in my house. Now that I have my own family I haven’t had a cat or dog of my own yet and it would be nice to be around some furry friends again ❤️ I currently work in back bay in Boston 4 days a week and I pick up shifts as well. I was looking forward to doing short walks on my lunch break hour since I am always walking around during my lunch break anyways. I also would like to do long walks after my shift is done for the day. If I can house sit as well that could be great as I will be in Boston anyways and it would help me with my commute I will not care for pets in my home. But in clients homes I will obey their rules set for their pets. I will treat them as if they were my own.

“Kathryn and Matthew are always so great with our pup! Bentley can get a bit nervous, but they always know exactly what to do to make him feel comfortable and at home. Great communicators and always punctual! We’ve loved having them watch our pup and can’t recommend them enough!”
