About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up beside them and learned how to care for them at a very early age. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, personalities, ages; from dogs who were my family, from my friend’s dogs to dogs belonging to people in my local community. About: I grew up with both small and big dogs so I’m experienced with both. My friends always ask to train their puppies because of how well I trained my dog back home with my family. I’m experienced with older dogs as well since I have a 11 year old german shepherd back with my family as well. I’m currently a Northeastern student but I have a lot of free time during the weekend. About: I have had my own dog since I was born, and through this I fell in love with pets. I then started the care end of it on a smaller scale and then improved once I got more clients. I would go to client's house while they were on vacation to take care of their pets, i.e. walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, and entertainment. I would also walk dogs that needed a break in the day while their parents were away at work. I even started my own dog walking business junior year, but I have a small community so it didn't take off. I got a few replies from this, and did the best of my ability to get there in a timely manner. I hope to end up doing it on a bigger scale this summer and gain even more experience with dogs. I am available all day to check in on your pets as frequently as you would like. I just finished a grad school program and am currently looking at applying to others so I wanted the time in between to be filled with work that I really enjoy. I have a great respect for people’s home and personal items. About: Outside of family pets growing up, I have experience raising, training, and caring for a golden doodle puppy at 23. I was also the partial caretaker for a rescue dog from 2016-2018. Since then I’ve taken care of roommates dogs, and have built a repertoire as a dependable pet sitter amongst friends. I love long walks and outdoor fun, but am just as happy being a couch potato pal. I am currently a full-time graduate student with this summer off, so i am generally available all weekdays and weekends. I occasionally will be unavailable due to travel, but no more than 2-5 days at a time. In my spare time i enjoy playing rec league volleyball, currently just once a week for a few hours. I believe in maintaining a calm and comfortable environment for your pets, especially if it is a first time interaction. Giving them time to warm up to a new person also allows me time to understand their temperament and what to avoid when caring for them.
