About: My name is Mary-Ruth! I’m a dentist in Boston and have always loved dogs!! My husband and I are available for doggy daycare or overnights. Growing up, I come from a family that has always had multiple dogs of all different shapes and sizes so I feel confident caring for your dog no matter the breed or size. That being said, I also have experience caring for dogs from puppyhood all the way through their senior years. We currently have a 7 month old yellow lab who is EXTREMELY friendly and would love to have a friend to play with! We have a small yard for playing as well as a big beach across the street! We hope to help you with any of your pet care needs. I am a dentist who goes into the office certain days, but my husband works from home so we always have someone home and available with your pet! We have a dog of our home so our home is very puppy/dog proof and safe environment for a dog to safely play or relax!
“Sheila was absolutely wonderful with my dog, Ponchik. She was kind, patient, and incredibly helpful—especially when Ponchik wasn’t feeling well and needed extra care. He’s also an anxious dog, but she made him feel safe and comfortable, which means so much to me. I’m very grateful for her compassion and communication throughout the stay. Highly recommend! Also she reply to my messages really quick! Thank you Sheila 🐶🐶”

“We had a wonderful experience with Nicky for our date night! She was so easy to communicate with from the start She really knows and loves dogs - it gave us such peace of mind knowing our pup was in great hands. Will definitely be reaching out to her again for future services.”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life; from a Border Collie, Dachshund, Poodle, Shih Tszu, Golden Retriever, Bichon Frise, and more! Currently, I have a small (9lb.) 2 year old Cavapoo (Remy) who is super friendly and always eager for a daytime playmate or an overnight friend. I love caring for dogs (my own & friends' dogs included) & taking my pup on long walks in the city with frequent stops at one of the many dog park options near my apartment. Plus my apartment building is dog-friendly and has an indoor play & potty area for those harsh New England weather days - no matter what, there's always something for our furry friends to do! Remy is well-trained & great with all dogs. He receives a healthy mix of playtime, training, patience, and care, and it is my goal to offer the same to your dog. I am attentive to owners instructions, and can provide frequent updates in accordance to your communication preferences. I am flexible to your dogs preferences & style, whether you need high activity (for a younger, high energy dog) or a more relaxed nurturing setting (for an older or more relaxed dog), I am open to any and all requests. I work remotely in sales, which means there is tons of built-in flexibility to watch, care for, and play with my pup AND yours. Typically, I take 30-min. to 1-hr. long breaks several times throughout the day to ensure my own dog gets all the attention he deserves. Adding a dog to the mix adds to the joy I get from caring for my dog & will only add more excitement to Remy's day. I am available primarily on weekends, but am always willing to be flexible throughout the week depending on the need. There are several dog parks around my apartment, as well as outdoor relief areas around the building. Additionally, there is a pet relief & play area in the lower level of my building, so no matter the conditions there is always something for a dog to do. Can easily crate and separate the dogs if needed and/or if they just need some alone time. My girlfriend & I live together, so if separate walks are needed, we can accommodate as well.
“Adela is amazing!! She took the best care of my 3 month old Havapoo for 2 days in a row - lots of walks and playing! She sent me tons of updates and pictures, which I so appreciate having a new puppy. I will be using her again and I know that will make my pup Henry so happy :)”

“Lindsey was amazing with our dog!! He had a few anxious moments and she kept us in the loop and handled it so well we were so grateful!! Would definitely love to keep using her as a go to!!”

“Hallie saved our day when we came to Boston! ICA museum doesn’t allow dogs and Hallie was available to take care of our little Anita for a few hours while we went to the museum. She was reliable, responsive, and so kind. 1000% recommend! Thank you Hallie!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animal care. Having cared for dogs since I was 13, I bring years of hands-on knowledge, from raising puppies to supporting senior dogs with special needs. I’ve managed dogs requiring medication, and I’m attentive to those with mobility, hearing, or vision challenges. My time helping raise my roommate’s dog included daily walks, feedings, and nurturing companionship, which deepened my understanding of canine behavior and well-being. With me, your pet will receive personalized care, love, and attention, just like they’re part of my own family. Pet care fits very well into my daily routine as I work from home in my apartment in South End, allowing me to provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. My role has a fairly flexible schedule, enabling me to accommodate walks, feeding, and playtime at times that suit your pet’s needs. In my home, I can provide a calm and pet-focused environment with playtime with my golden retriever, Benny. Since my partner is allergic to cats, we only offer dog-sitting. While we do not have a fenced in yard, we live near a popular dog park. I have enjoyed taking dogs there for exercise, socialization, and playtime, making it a favorite spot for the dogs I’ve cared for. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize their happiness, comfort, and well-being with personalized attention and care.
About: I’ve had many dogs over the years and have helped take care of friends’ and family members’ pets as well. I’m comfortable with different breeds and routines. I recently moved to Boston with my partner and we are getting settled before getting another dog, so pet sitting has been a great way for me to still spend time with dogs and give them great care. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits easily into my day. I’m home most of the time and can provide walks, playtime, feedings, and companionship throughout the day, including weekdays and weekends. I keep a calm, clean, and safe space and stick closely to each pet’s routine. I live right across from the Common, so there are plenty of great spots for walks. I’m careful on walks and always focused on your pet’s comfort and safety.
“I’m so grateful that we found Emily and Will! They jumped in to cover on super short notice. Fitz was greeted by a friendly face and literally leapt out of the car. They were communicative, kind, and I’d definitely ask them to watch my dog again!”

“Jim was super accommodating! We came to visit Boston and needed someone to look after the pouch when we visit the museums. Jim was always fast to reply and accommodated our itinerary changes. I definitely recommend him.”

About: I have always lived with pets throughout my life, I love dogs and cats. I have also done social work to help street animals. I love Pets I currently work from home part-time, so I have flexible hours to care for and give full attention to the animals. My husband and I live there, and we don't have children yet. I live in an apartment, all doors and windows are closed. We have air conditioning and heating throughout the house. The apartment is clean and organized. If necessary, we can put up a small fence in the living room for greater safety for the animal.
“I had an excellent experience with our Jayden. She was available to help my dog and I during a snow storm and I had to go to work! My dog Jack was well cared for and she helped to ease my mind! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. My dog made himself right at home with her and cried when he was dropped off which means he missed her already and had a great time! I really appreciate the updates and peace of mind knowing my dog is in safe, attentive hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker.”

About: Hey I’m Grace! I recently moved away from my family dog and definitely miss having one around, so spending time with other people’s dogs feels like the next best thing. I’ve been a dog owner my whole life and volunteered at a Humane Society for two years, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs — including puppies and dogs that need a little extra patience. I’ve received training on proper dog walking techniques and pet behavior. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility for midday walks, check-ins, or having a dog hang out with me during the day. I live in South Boston and would love to help out other local dog owners who need someone reliable during the workday or after work! I work remotely during the week, so I’m usually available for midday walks, drop-ins, or quick visits on my lunch break. I’m also around after work and some evenings if people need help then. My schedule is pretty flexible! I mostly focus on walks and drop-ins, but if your dog stays with me during the day they’ll just be hanging out in a calm, comfortable space while I work remotely. I keep a close eye on them and follow whatever routines you prefer for walks, feeding, or training. My goal is always to make sure dogs feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. 🐾

“Jillian was so accommodating taking our girl last minute and late into the night. She sent tons of pictures and videos and was very responsible especially since we were running behind. And our girl Maya had a great time after playing with her pup all night and is sleeping the day away. Would definitely book again!”

Emma was a lifesaver! We needed to book hour of and Emma responded right away. We were not aware our Airbnb did not permit pets to stay unsupervised, we were only in Boston for the day and needed to find daycare in a hurry. Emma was responsive, kind and took great care of our dog. Super appreciative and highly recommend if in the area:)

Maddy took great care of my pup! My scampi loves to snuggle and Maddy was very kind and let her Velcro all throughout the day. She’s extremely communicative and sends tons of pictures throughout the day which makes me feel week assured scampi is in great hands!!

Jenni was great! She helped me out last minute and was very patient with my dog, who was nervous at first. He warmed up to her quickly and ended up having a great day playing with her roommate’s dog. She also sent photos and updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend her!

Y Tran was absolutely wonderful with Kiko! She was very attentive, loving, and truly cared for him as if he were her own. She sent me so many pictures and updates throughout the day, which made me feel completely at ease. I was super happy seeing how loved and comfortable Kiko felt with her. She is incredibly sweet, and I would definitely rebook with her again!

Shana was so accommodating, even with my last-minute request. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions during the visit to make sure she fully understood Kiwi’s needs. Kiwi definitely had a great time hanging out with her and her adorable pup. Truly appreciated the attentiveness!

My sitter got sick and Jim stepped up very last minute to watch Freddie and was so wonderful. Very communicative and sweet with Freddie. His dog is super cute too! It’s always a little nerve racking using someone new, but I felt very comfortable leaving Fred with Jim. He also seemed to have a good time and was nice and calm when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Jim!
