About: I've been fostering with Last Hope K9 Rescue since December 2025, caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from 3-month-old puppies finding their footing to an anxious 3.5-year-old who stayed with me for four months (and completely stole my heart!). I've also cared for senior dogs, including a 9-year-old Doberman who needs medication, patience, and lots of walks. I've done overnight stays from 2 to 12 nights, and I'm comfortable with dogs who need a little extra reassurance, structure, or TLC. I have a soft spot for the quirky ones! I work at a local fitness studio, so my schedule is flexible and I can adjust it with advance notice! My shifts are typically just 3–4 hours, and I'm happy to make accommodations for pups who need extra attention. I've even brought some of my foster dogs to the studio (where they become instant celebrities!), but I know that's not for everyone. For my anxious pups, I've adjusted my work schedule to make sure they're comfortable and never left alone too long. Every dog is different, and I'm happy to work around their needs! I prefer overnight stays in your home, where your pup can stick to their usual routine, sleep in their favorite spot, and feel right at home (because they are!). Expect plenty of walks, attention, and photo updates while you're away. I'll treat your home with respect and your dog like my own, with a little extra spoiling, of course! I'm also open to hosting when it's the right fit.

About: As a lifelong animal lover I have cared for pets of all shapes and sizes and I absolutely adore them! No matter what, all pets deserve to have a great and adventure filled day and I’m happy to help when you’re busy or plans change. I will always put your dog first when it comes to safety and enjoyment having been trained and years of taking care of our own family dog. My number one priority is to make sure your pup is happy and safe! I love to play, excercise, walk or just hand with them whatever their needs may be. I am WFH with a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to care for your babies whether for a walk or to pet sit. They will get all the care required anytime they are in my supervision which includes lots of fun and activities! I have a designated dog patio in my building along with a very secured home. I also have the space for a crate if that is desired for pet owners. I’m also in the heart of Boston and can take them on many walks to and from the Boston Common

“Dana was amazing! This was our first time using Rover and were nervous to leave our pup with someone new (he was previously not a fan of being boarded). However, from initial message I could tell Dana knew what he was doing. We did a meet and greet before our dog’s stay and Dana was very thorough with how he operates when he is taking care of a dog, which certainly made me feel comfortable. Dana is also super laid back and more than willing to accommodate our slight adjustments in our pick up time. Our dog looked very comfortable with Dana and when we went to pick him up our dog did not want to leave. We will definitely have our pup stay with Dana in the future!”

This was our first time using Rover and our first time leaving our dog with someone other than doggy day care/friends. We were able to arrange a meet and greet before Amber’s stay so she could meet him as well as his two beautiful/loving dogs. His house is tidy and clean and his backyard exceeded my expectations with a nice high fence and space for the dogs to run out their energy. All my anxiety and nervousness about leaving her were immediately gone after the meet and greet. During her 9 day stay, we received several photos a day and I could tell from her (my dog’s) expression that she was genuinely loved and cared for by John and enjoyed the company of his dogs. We kept in touch regularly and we plan on booking Amber for another stay with him today (we literally just landed).
