Pet sitting fits really naturally into my day to day life. I work full-time with a flexible hybrid schedule, so when I’m boarding pets, being home as much as possible is a priority for me and I plan my days around that. My boyfriend works from home full-time and has lots of experience helping with pet care, so there’s almost always someone around to keep an eye on things, give attention, and make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for. This setup tends to work especially well for senior pets or animals that get anxious being left alone. I’m mindful to stick to each pet’s usual routine, and go at their pace so they can truly relax while they’re here. If you think your pet would do well in a low stress, loving home, feel free to message me. I’m always happy to chat or set up a meet & greet!

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my home or in clients’ homes, my goal is always to make the experience as smooth, calm, and stress free as possible for both pets and their parents. For boarding, I strongly prefer setting up a meet & greet ahead of time when possible. This gives your pet a chance to get familiar with my home and allows us to go over routines, expectations, and any questions you may have. I like to think of drop-off day as similar to dropping your kid off at daycare: quick, calm goodbyes tend to lead to a much easier transition and help reduce anxiety for your pet. For boarding stays, I ask that you bring any supplies your pet will need, including food, medications, leash, toys, bedding, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable and at home. I do my best to stick closely to their usual routine so they can settle in easily. For walks and in-home visits, visits typically last anywhere from 20–60 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs. I’m always happy to adjust timing, activity level, or care routines to what works best for your pet. And just a heads up, I LOVE taking pics of the pets I care for, so you can expect plenty of cute updates while you’re away. If you have specific preferences, concerns, or a pet who needs a little extra patience, I’m always happy to talk through everything ahead of time to make sure it’s a great fit.

Your Pet’s Home Away From Home 🐾

Pet care experience

I grew up in Miami, FL, where I worked in pet sitting alongside my mom for almost a decade. At any given time, we were caring for anywhere from 1 to 12 dogs, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also had many clients where I provided house visits and daily walks, which taught me how important consistency, communication, and trust are when caring for someone else’s pet. Over the years, I’ve become great at reading animals and creating a space where pets feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely happy to be there, like a little “summer camp,” with plenty of love, attention, and (if appropriate) new furry friends! I also have limited but solid experience with cat boarding, and I am 1000% open to (and would love!) caring for cats as well. I understand that cats have very different needs than dogs, and I always aim to make them feel calm, respected, and at home. My boyfriend & I live together, and our dog Lilo was truly our child. She was paraplegic, so we have extensive hands-on experience with special needs pets, mobility limitations, medications, and customized care routines. That experience has made us especially patient, attentive, and detail-oriented caregivers. Now based in Boston, I’m very mindful of seasonal needs, from bundled-up winter walks and paw protection to adjusting activity levels based on the weather. Lilo passed away a couple of months ago, and our apartment feels like it’s missing some love, so opening our home to dogs and cats who need a safe, caring place to stay feels incredibly meaningful to us. I treat every pet like family and always aim to give owners peace of mind while they’re away. I’d love to meet you and your furry friend and help make their stay as comfortable and happy as possible!

Nolan and Damien were excellent caregivers. Fitzgerald really seemed to have a great time. They communicated effectively throughout the whole process and even flexed so I can figure out a different drop off schedule last minute. They sent pictures and gave updates on how he was doing and Fitzgerald came home happy and healthy. We would absolutely recommend them to anybody looking for a great set of caregivers for their loved ones.
