Your Dog’s Cozy Home Away from Home
I grew up in a house where dogs were the center of the family, and I treat every pup in my care exactly like my own. As a dentist and current endodontic resident at Boston University, I’m used to a job that demands strict responsibility and attention to detail, and I take pet care just as seriously. While I absolutely love animals, my busy schedule as a resident means I can't commit to having a dog of my own right now, and I really miss seeing my family dog, Macy. Having a dog around brings me so much joy, which is why I love pet sitting. It gives me the perfect opportunity to have some wonderful canine company on my days off, while giving your pup a safe, dedicated home away from home.

Kaitlyn is quiet and reserved around most people outside of our immediate family, but she forms an instant connection with animals. I believe there is a spectrum when it comes to animal lovers, and Kaitlyn is at the far end of that spectrum. Her compassion, patience, and kindness toward animals are truly remarkable. Watching her interact with them has often made me think that some people are simply meant to be animals’ best friends and advocates, and Kaitlyn is one of those people. Beyond her love for animals, Kaitlyn is honest, conscientious, and responsible. She is intelligent, organized, and meticulous in everything she does, qualities that have helped her earn top academic honors and secure a position in a nationally renowned dental residency program. Our pets are cherished members of our family, and we would never entrust their care to just anyone. Kaitlyn is someone I trust completely to provide excellent daily care as well as to make thoughtful, sound decisions should an unexpected situation arise. I can recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and exceptionally caring pet sitter.

Schedule
As an endodontic resident, my clinical schedule is very busy during the week, but I dedicate weekends that I am not on call to pet care. On these days, I am home full-time, which allows me to provide consistent supervision. My schedule on days off is very flexible, and I plan my routine around each pet’s specific needs, whether that means regular potty breaks, active playtime, or a quiet, relaxed environment for older dogs who just want to snooze while I study. I love using my study breaks to head outside and take your pup out for a stroll! I’m always happy to go the extra mile to make sure your dog is safe, comfortable, and treated just like family.

I maintain a clean, pet-friendly apartment where I can monitor pets closely and give them constant attention and supervision. I’m also more than happy to allow dogs on the furniture if that’s what they are used to at home. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood with several fenced-in, dog-friendly parks nearby for regular walks and fresh air. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, medications, and exercise needs.
A typical day
A typical day with me balances a relaxed, attentive home environment with plenty of fresh air. We’ll start the morning with a refreshing walk around the neighborhood to get moving and take care of business. Once we're back, I’ll get your pup settled in with a fresh bowl of water and breakfast according to their usual schedule. Throughout the day, I use my study breaks as the perfect excuse for fun! We’ll head out for frequent potty runs, stretch our legs at one of the local fenced-in parks, or play a quick game of fetch. When I'm at my desk, your dog can lounge right next to me, enjoy some belly rubs, or curl up on the couch for a midday snooze. We'll wind down the evening with a sunset stroll if your dog is feeling up to it, and plenty of cuddle time so they feel safe and right at home.
