You had me at walk
Since I was 10 years old, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their dog(s). I've stayed overnight at their houses to provide the requested care as well as visits during the day. Additionally I’ve hosted pet(s) overnight.

Sheila and her fiancé took great care of Winnie, we really appreciated the daily photos and videos of Winnie while we were away, it made us feel good knowing Winnie was in great hands and that she was not just taken care of but played with a lot- which she loves. Sheila met with us before a trip we planned earlier this year, and we had to cancel our plans- but later she also accommodated us on a short notice trip which was also so incredibly nice. We appreciate her flexibility and understanding and would love to have her watch Winnie again.
Sheila did a wonderful job taking care of our older doggo. She was super attentive and kept us informed about everything that happened during her drop-in visit. And she sent plenty of photos, which was great!
Sheila was wonderful with our pup Storm. She accommodated our request for a meet and greet beforehand and was quick to respond to any messages. Storm came home happy!
Sheila was great with Lila and very communicative! She was not phased at all by Lila’s medication schedule or special instructions for walking :) I would definitely recommend her to take care of your dog!

Schedule
Currently I am working part-time and step out for about 4 hours for my shift then return home to study. My fiancé and I live together in our apartment and he helps provide pet care. Our weekends are typically open with an occasional event.

Safety, trust & environment
I am an active person. I enjoy running, hiking, and long walks to release energy, especially with a canine campion. I've also brought dogs to local dog parks. I enjoy playing with dogs and even lounging at the house with them. At my apartment, the shared backyard has a fence and an outdoor lead as well.
A typical day
When I serve as a temporary caretaker of the dog, I enjoy going on walks around the neighborhood. If the owner(s) and dog(s) are comfortable with car rides and other locations, I will bring the dog(s) on outdoor adventures, such as a hike on Blue Hills or run around Castle Island or visit an outdoor and pet friendly venue. On hot days I also set up a sprinkler outside to help cool down. For indoor activities, I typically play tug-o-war and fetch to help release some energy.
