I am a professional dog walker with a local company two days a week, but am looking to add more walks and visits to my schedule. When I’m not dog walking, I’m working on building a sustainable swimwear brand from home, so I have lots of flexibility to work around your schedule.

I don’t have any pets of my own, so yours will be the center of attention! I live on the second floor of a two family condo building. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but I live right off the Neponset River Trail and there are lots of great walking route and trails in my neighborhood. If your pet is used to sleeping in your room with you at night, I am happy to have them in my room, and can accommodate crated or uncreated dogs. In general I try to keep your pet’s schedule as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and at home.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs, accommodations, or medications. Because I live above another family, dogs that are prone to frequently barking are not a great fit. The occasional bark at the mail carrier or when someone comes to the door is completely fine!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on varied walks in the neighborhood or on the trail so they are never bored, and I love playing with them and their toys. If they are up for a bigger adventure, I live right near Blue Hill and am happy to take them on a hike! Overall I like to follow their typical routine while leaving lots of time to play, explore, and snuggle.

I absolutely love dogs, and will treat yours as if it were my own with all the love, care and attention they deserve! I am comfortable with puppies, seniors, and even have experience with more reactive pups. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog!

Our pup, Lucy, is very skeptical of anyone who is not in our family, and it took her no time at all to connect with Lauren. It is clear to us that Lauren enjoyed Lucy and all of her quirks immediately, and it didn’t take long before Lauren had won our pup over. Lauren consistently sent us pictures and videos of Lucy during their walks, and one video showed Lucy’s playful personality during her stay. Every other person who has watched Lucy reports that our pup was withdrawn and shy during her entire stay. With Lauren, Lucy is comfortable and even has fun. The second time we brought Lucy to stay with Lauren, Lucy ran in as if it were her second home. Our family is more comfortable traveling now that Lucy can stay with Lauren.
