Animals feel like I am one of them!
I like to think of myself as a piece of lettuce--95% water (or animal), but you'd never be able to tell from the outside :) *Vet school candidate* *I will be providing services with my 7 month old daughter :) I will always like to set up a meet and greet prior to a booking--to ensure your animal (and you!) get to know me a little more before I start hanging out with them! I understand that for last minute bookings this may not be possible, but I will hope to have a proper meet and greet following the booking if I will continue to hang out with your pet! I would love to bathe your dog if that is something you would like :) I also like to give the animals massages if that is something they enjoy (especially good for older or post-op pets!) I like to imagine my touch feeling like classical music—if classical music had a physical touch! I can also clip your dogs nails, if I feel they will cooperate! I want your pup to be in the best of health, so I do what I can to help achieve that :) I am kind of like a personal trainer/health advisor to dogs :D I use positive reinforcement with animals. Let me know which skills you would like your animal to work on and I can work with them on it. I also have a dog of my own, so if you would like your dog to work on socialisation skills, that is also something that I offer. I have spent my whole life surrounded by animals, which is why I can handle any kind for various lengths of time. They come in all shapes and sizes--as humans do--and they all deserve love in the form of hugs, kisses and walks! When I am with an animal, they are the center of my world. I am up for doing anything with your pet--run, walk, play, eat, lay or watch TV, if that is what they like to do! Let me know what makes them happy and I am happy to do that for them!! If you have any other animal that you'd like for me to care for during the day or while you are away--I can handle any animal and would love to hang out with your baby--whatever kind of baby that you may have!

Ratings and reviews
Kristen was really great with our dog. The information she provided, via walk description and photos, was reassuring, and she went above and beyond bringing some homemade food when our dog was a bit too nervous from our absence to eat. It's good to know we have someone we can trust, the next time we need help!
Kristen did great with my energetic 10 month old Cavalier ! On time, kept him active in the backyard while I took some important work calls… will definitely have her back

Arrived on time. Followed instructions exactly. Good with the animals. Good update with photos.
Kristen provided fantastic care to our 2 cats. She followed all of our instructions and kept them well fed, changed litter, and played with them. She also was able to administer medicine to one of our cats who had a medical condition. She put our minds at ease and kept us updated every day we were on vacation with a summary and photos. I highly recommend her. She has great care skills, and great communication skills.

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home mom to a 7-month old who will be with me on visits. We are free all day, everyday, including the weekends
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsKristen can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- The way my house sitting works: I will spend the night with your pet starting around 8PM until about 5/6AM. During this time, I will feed/walk them in the evening and in the morning before I leave. Halfway through the day, I will come and give them a walk, and some play time, depending on what they are in the mood for! I would like to know how comfortable you are with letting me bring your pet into my car with me on days where it may be too hot--I would take them either to a shaded park to walk or just a car ride if that is something they enjoy! If it is too cold outside, I can also take them on a car ride :) If it is too humid or lightning outside, then I will just take them outside to do their business, and come back inside to play with them (or take them for a ride!). If, for whatever reason, your dog can’t walk far (injury, post op or old age), I can take them around in my car for a little adventure if they enjoy that :) The wellbeing of your animal is of the utmost importance--I will do what I feel is best for your pet when I am with them. Other things I would like to know include: -How are they with other children or adults? -How are they with other dogs? -What causes them distress? -What gives them a lot of excitement? -What kind of treats do they get/can they have?
