I’ve had the joy of raising dogs from puppies to adulthood, including a mini-poodle named Mikey, who was a cherished part of our family for 11 years. About: (I am only able to house sit during the day, not available overnight) I have had a family dog in my life ever since I was born. My first dog lived to be 15 and he lost the ability to use his legs around the age of 9. We took care of him by giving him medication, carrying him in and outside of the house, and even purchasing a wheelchair for him to be able to go on walks again. I was 16 when this was happening and played a huge role in taking care of him. We had another dog throughout this time and were responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking both dogs. I now have one dog who I walk regularly and take on hikes. I have dog-sat for both neighbors' and family's dogs and cats since I was 15. I am currently starting a part-time position and will have more available during weekdays to spend time with your sweet pets! I tend to have few obligations on the weekends, as well. I have two friendly dogs who live at my house, one that I just adopted as my own puppy to take care. We have a very large yard that he runs around in with an electric fence. However, we do have a long run that is tied to a tree in the middle of my yard. I would prefer to take care of pets in my clients' homes in order to make the pet and owners feel the safest.
