Hello, I’m Jenica ✨! I have 26 years of experience caring for pets. I’m looking forward to loving your pet like my own! Being an animal lover is a huge part of who I am. I’ve owned big dogs all my life and have dog/cat sat for my community for 10+ years. I am so fulfilled by spending time with pups, which is why I’ve joined Rover. I work a 9 to 5, so hanging out with your pet is just a little something extra I do to add some joy to my day. My job is 100% work from home, so it makes it very convenient for me to do walks or drop ins before, during, and after my work day. I’m dependable, easy to communicate with, and always focused on making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. My number one priority is always your pet’s safety. I keep it top of mind to ensure your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m very responsible with keeping doors locked and your home safe. I moved to Southie in Summer 2025, so I’ve really been enjoying getting to know the neighbors and the neighborhood. I’m the kind of person who will give pets to every dog I come across 😂 Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐕

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each dog or cat’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so they feel secure and cared for. I’m attentive on walks (always leash-aware and mindful of surroundings), and I make sure pets are safe and settled before I leave your home. I’m also respectful of your space and will follow any instructions closely. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet and create a calm, positive experience every time.

Jenica is lovely! She is kind, punctual, great at communicating, flexible and considerate with my dog's unique needs, and my dog loves her. I recommend her for dog walking!

Schedule
I work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule during the day. I’m available for walks and drop-ins Monday through Friday, and can stop by while you’re at work for midday walks, potty breaks, or check-ins. I’m happy to accommodate consistent weekly schedules or occasional bookings, and I do my best to be reliable and on time. Feel free to reach out with your needs—I’m flexible and will try to make it work!
