“Lizz is an amazing cat sitter: She went above and beyond during her twice a day visits with my cat Cleo. I felt assured that my precious kitty was in the capable hands of a cat owner and cat lover.”

“Alyson is amazing! Alyson has done drop in visits for my cat each time we travel and I wouldn't dream of asking anyone else. Alyson is thoughtful and easy to communicate with. I know my cat is well looked after and I get an update with pictures each visit.”

“Meg was amazing! She stepped in last minute, was responsive and reliable, and clearly cares about the dogs. She asked great questions, sent updates and videos during her visits, and gave me total peace of mind. I’ll definitely book her again.”

About: I have been a dog owner for many years, with a major preference for small dogs. Not only do I have lots of experience caring for my own pets, but I have sat and cared for the dogs of many different friends and family, as well as those I don’t personally know well, over the years. I am patient, loving, always try to have fun with the dogs, and always try to give them the best care possible. I’ve had dogs all my life. I got my first dog, Lukey, when I was young and he was my best friend. Originally got him for my mother to keep her company, but fell in love with him myself and made him my own once she passed. I’d take him through the woods on walks and we eventually became inseparable. He passed at age 18. Eventually I met a woman who had two dogs of her own and they became like my kids. I had them for many years, although sadly they are all passed now as well. Currently I help care for two dogs with my ex who lives in the apartment below me, as we are still good friends. I make sure they are well cared for and take them out regularly. I love to play with them. I take dogs very seriously as they are like family to me. I can currently work Monday-Saturday, with exceptions. I do have to schedule around some minor things early in the morning, and those take priority, and those can be discussed, but otherwise I’m completely free. I love animals and always try to give them 100% of the love and attention they deserve. I feed them, walk them, take them out and play with them, and always try to give them my best. I’ve always treated my own dogs as if they were my children, and I extend that to any dog I care for.
“Sarah always takes such good care of my girls and I appreciate her so much! This is my first time having Sara sit for me and she’s been wonderful every time.”

About: I truly believe in love at first sight—and I found it with my sweet Coco 🐶💞. He’s my best friend and my whole heart. I have over four years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including three years working with Rover. This is a new account after moving out of my mother’s home, but my experience runs deep. My mom, Krystal, is also a Rover sitter, so I’ve spent an additional year surrounded by dogs of all sizes and personalities—from playful and energetic to calm and cuddly. Caring for dogs is second nature to me, and I genuinely enjoy building trust with each pup. I offer a safe, loving environment with a spacious home, large rooms, and both a front and backyard—perfect for playtime, exercise, and relaxation. Coco and I can’t wait to meet new furry friends and enjoy plenty of walks, play, and companionship together. I am currently studying sonography at MCPHS University in Boston, about 15 - 20 minutes from home. My schedule is SUPER flexible. I am able to give Coco attention all day or else he would go crazy! So don’t ever think your pup would be lonely!! I live in a quiet townhouse community with safe walking areas and lots of nearby green space. Cocoa gets walked a minimum of 5 times a day just because I have the time too, and he loves to be outside :) I live in a community, so everyone knows and loves him. He gets fed twice a day and gets his chicken bones whenever he scratches on the treat door 💕 He sleeps with me on the bed, and I do not mind your pup sleeping on the bed either!
“Jennifer was absolutely lovely! Our boys were so well taken care of. We came back home to two very happy cats. We’d recommend Jennifer any time and hope to have her sit again!”

“James was an excellent caregiver for my cat. He came over early to see the house and meet Finbar, sent nice updates and pictures. I would be happy to use his services again.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs, which gave me a real appreciation for the extra patience and attention that comes with that stage of life. One thing I've always noticed is that animals tend to gravitate toward me naturally, in high frequencies that I like to say I'm a modern-day Snow White! But beyond that, I make it a point to connect with owners before anything else. Every pet has their own personality and routine, and understanding those details upfront is what allows me to provide care that actually feels comfortable and familiar to them. I currently have a flexible schedule while I'm building my career in animal welfare, which is a field I'm genuinely passionate about. That means I have real, dedicated time to give pets the attention they need, and it's not something I'm squeezing in between other commitments. My background in communications also means I'm big on keeping owners informed and updated, so there's never a reason to wonder how their pet is doing. When I'm at a client's home, I really try to keep everything as normal as possible for the pet. Just like humans, animals have their own habits so I stick to their usual routine, such as same feeding times, same walks, same everything so they barely notice their owner is gone. When we're outside, I'm always paying attention to our surroundings and keeping them safe. My goal is for both the pet and owner to feel like they're in good hands!
About: Since I was 10 years old, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their dog(s). I've stayed overnight at their houses to provide the requested care as well as visits during the day. Additionally I’ve hosted pet(s) overnight. As a teacher during the academic year, I am available to provide pet care before and after school during the week. I’ll be at my school for approximately 7 hours each day. My boyfriend and I live together in our apartment and he’s also able to help providing pet care. My weekends are typically open during the academic year with an occasional event. From mid-June until late August, I have more availability during the week to provide pet care. I am an active person. I enjoy running, hiking, and long walks to release energy, especially with a canine campion. I've also brought dogs to local dog parks. I enjoy playing with dogs and even lounging at the house with them. At my apartment, the shared backyard has a fence and an outdoor lead as well.

“It was December when our two cats, Martha and Rosie, filled our home and hearts with joy. Since then we haven’t traveled for longer than a couple of nights. This was our first experience with the rover app and Ann Marie. We cannot be happier and relieved from our very positive experience. Ann Marie took great care of our two girls. From the moment she came for the initial house visit, to her amazing and open dialogue during our vacation. Certainly put things at ease. Martha is usually afraid of strangers, but she warmed up to Ann Marie by the end of the week. We looked forward to our daily updates with many great pictures of them. We will definitely use Ann Marie’s services for every trip. Thank you!!”

“Yanira took amazing care of Ruthie! She can be shy with new people but came out for Yanira, great to get the daily photos! I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Jess went above and beyond taking care of my kitties. When I came home they were happy and healthy. I also loved getting cute pictures of them when I was away from my home.”

Hyde Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Marizol is wonderful with our cats, Dante and Sweetie. We love getting updates from her while we're away and seeing both of our cats out and about and playing. Dante is especially shy and he'll come out to play and it's so cute to see. Thanks for taking such great care of them while we were away!

We love working with Sarah! She’s extremely capable, professional, and communicative. Our dogs very much enjoy her visits, and she handles their medications, mobility issues, and particular quirks very capably! We can travel with peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
Felicia took the time to do a meet and greet and also took great care of our three crazy pups while we were out. Very communicative and sent lots of photos, we don’t let many people watch our dogs so was very thankful Felicia was so great with them, highly recommend!

Sean is a great human and a great carer. My dog is incredibly picky and always right. She will decide at the door, on the first sniff, if she is ok with someone or now, and she immediately took to Sean. He tracks their walking route and sends me the cutest update pictures. He has also been so flexible with my dogs recent surgeries. He walks my dog daily and it is the highlight of her day!

Madison is great with communication, scheduling, and adhering to rules. It’s clear that she loves dogs and wants them to be comfortable. She did well meeting my dog, moving at her speed, and applied this to her first drop-in visit. My dog had a fun time with Madison as she incorporated a few different activities during her visit.
