“Alyson is always amazing watching my cat! He’s had some medical issues lately and she was extremely attentive, followed all my instructions, and gave me constant updates on how he was doing. My trip out of town was much much less stressful thanks to her. I would recommend Alyson for anyone looking to have their cat stay with someone while they are away. Thanks Alyson!!”

“In addition to the usual amazing taking care of our dogs, Casey wowed us (unsurprisingly) with her grace, quickness, and thoughtfulness when I messed up by not communicating the wanted pickup date. We worked fast to find a solution to take good care of the dogs until the end, and my husband and I are yet again extremely grateful for Casey and the top notch service she provides. Thank you, Casey.”

“Great sitter, had my dog for 8 days and he was well taken care of and because of her work he got to hang out with lots of other dogs all day! He had a blast! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Wanda seemed really kind and caring from the second Koda met her! She took care of him for a week while we were on vacation and it seems like he had a great time playing with Wanda’s pup, Casey. It would be nice if Wanda provided more daily updates, I had to ask a few times to see how he was doing. Overall, Wanda seems like a very kind and reliable sitter.”

“Jing has great communication! She was great with my elderly dog and gave her her medicine when needed. My dog looked happy the entire time and was in a great mood afterwards!”

“Dana and Nia were wonderful sitters for our 6 month old puppy. She was meant to stay with them for 5 days and go to a friend of mines house for the rest of my trip but she got sick on her first day with my friend. Dana and Nia happily took her back the next day and got her back to normal health. They knew exactly how to handle the situation and were very chill about it. Rosie had a great time with them, in their yard and on adventures outside of their house. 100% recommend Dana and Nia!”

“Charlie had a great 10 day stay with Alec and Damien. Communication was fast and efficient. It was Charlie’s first time staying with someone who wasn’t family or friends, but after the meet and greet I knew that they would take great care of him. I received updates (with pictures) while on my vacation and I would choose them again if needed. Highly recommend them to care for your dog as one of their own.”
“Pretzel had a great time at Alan's! We received lots of photo and video updates during his stay. Pickup and drop off were a breeze. Looking forward to our next booking with Alan for our next trip!”

“Oscar and his wife took such excellent care of my Prague Ratter dog, Rubix, for close to a week while I was out of town. Oscar provided daily video updates that allowed me to know how well Rubix was doing, which really eased my mind while I was away. Oscar was always very communicative and always responded to all of my messages within minutes - he was also very generous in being flexible with the dog sitting schedule (as I was concerned I might not make it back from traveling due to a recent blizzard), which helped reduce any stress I might have felt if I didn’t pick him up when I originally said I would. He told me not to worry, and that he would work with me if I needed to make any adjustments to the schedule. You can tell through the videos that both him and his wife have a genuine love of dogs. I’m very grateful to have found Oscar to watch my dog and I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you Oscar once again to you and your wife for everything!”

“This was our second time working with Jess, and Duke was happy as can be. We loved the photos of Duke interacting with the other dogs and having a great time. Won't hesitate to have Jess watch Duke again.”

“Zoe was fabulous. I was in a jam last minute to find a sitter and she responded right away and was able to watch my dog for 4 days while I was away on vacation. I was nervous that my dog would not respond well to her larger dog, but her dog was so gentle with mine, they were able to be together in the yard and in the house, no problems.”

“Thank you for taking care of Doodle -she’s not the easiest dog to handle but thank you for being so incredibly responsible, always on time, and cares for her well-being. I highly recommend Steven to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable pet sitter!”

“Joseph was prompt in his communication and was also flexible in arranging an earlier drop-off time due to a last-minute shuffle on my end. He was a good host for our dog for the five days he had her. I’d be happy to have him care for our dog again.”

“Paula took excellent care of my dog. Echo came home happy and tired after having a weekend full of fun playing with other pups and being well cared for by Paula. She was very flexible on timings and is such a lovely friendly person. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paula to my friend’s and we are already planning on using Paula for a two week we have coming up soon.”

“Julie was absolutely wonderful! Our dog can be quite anxious, but we could tell by his demeanor when he came home that Julie made him feel very comfortable and cared for! We'd love to have Dodge stay with Julie again, and we are very grateful for the updates and great care Dodge received!”

“Kimberly and Brian were wonderful! They took sent lots of updates and pictures of my pup and took great care of him. With a senior dog who has to take medication morning and night, it was a relief to have him in such good friends. And he and their dog, Lola, became buds by the end of it. Would absolutely recommend them!”

“My dog Tayto loves going to stay with Jason and Noah! He is clearly so happy and comfortable there that he runs to their door when we arrive. Jason sends the best photos and videos throughout his stay. Tayto can’t wait until next time!”

“Thank you so much Nally for taking care of my Leo! 😍 I just went on a business trip to Texas and had a last minute change with my other sitter and was in a bind. I was so stressed out because I wanted to find good care for my puppy. Nally literally came to my rescue. Everyday she sent me photos and videos of my babe and I can tell with her expertise and experience taking care of dogs that my puppy was in good hands. Couldn’t have found a better person to care for him. Thanks so much! Leo will love to go back to your care Nally! You’re the best ❤️😍”

“Marilyn is a fantastic sitter and considerate homestay. She took great care of my two cats (and my home), and they really liked her based on the numerous pictures she sent where it appeared they were following her around, and not just to the wet food. What's more, Marilyn goes above and beyond. When I left for my trip and Marilyn was to begin residency the following day, my neighbor texted me and showed me that there was a window situation where a cat could escape. Even though her duty started the next day, Marilyn made a special trip to confirm cats were safe, and to fix the window situation. She even washed the bedding and towels I had left her so I wouldn't have to do it when I got home, and she generously allowed my to book two more nights of her care when I wanted to extend my trip. Marilyn is very caring, considerate and flexible. I will definitely be requesting her services again. I recommend her highly as one of the best Rover caretakers I have encountered.”

“Aly always provides the best care for our kitties! We never worry about them while we are gone. She treats them as if they were her own and we always get great updates and pictures twice a day!”

“Lizz was absolutely fantastic, FIVE STARS!! This was our first trip since we adopted our kitty and we were nervous, especially since he’s in a rambunctious phase and can be needy. Lizz put us at ease with how professional and supportive she was during the meet and greet and we didn’t hesitate to confirm our booking right then. While we were away, she sent us the cutest pics and updates and kept us in the loop on how he was settling in, eating and using the litter box. He can be a bit skittish but seeing how he warmed right up to Lizz is a testament to her abilities!! We feel so comfortable knowing that we have someone skilled and experienced that we can rely on for our next trip!!”

“Lindsay took such great care of my cat Naomi! She was extremely professional and responsive, and she was so helpful even with some very last minute changes/housesitting needs that I was stressing over. Also had no trouble administering Naomi’s medication and was so attentive to her daily routine. I really appreciated all the detailed updates and cat pics!! I would happily have her catsit for us again :)”

“James was an excellent caregiver for my cat. He came over early to see the house and meet Finbar, sent nice updates and pictures. I would be happy to use his services again.”

“Jennifer always goes above and beyond when she is caring for our cats. She is incredibly reliable, friendly, and communicative, and you can just tell she has an affinity for animals. Best petsitter ever!”

“Second time I’ve had Yanira take care of Ruthie and she did a great job! Ruthie can be shy but comes out every time for Yanira. Will happily book her again!”

“Thank you so much Jasmine ! She took such phenomenal care of my cat , stayed the whole time to play with him , cleaned the litter box and went above and beyond . So trustworthy . Thank you again .”

“Sarah thank you for taking such good care of my girls, all three of my girls now! I would never would have been able to fully enjoy my day out of town without knowing you were there to keep an eye on everybody and make sure everybody was ok. I appreciate you so much!”

“Mike did a great job doting on our very neurotic cat. He managed to slip a pill into her food every morning, and stayed around for a bit so she could get a "second breakfast" afterwards. He even got to pet her occasionally, something only a very select few can say! Fountains were kept filled, cat box was clean, and bowls weren't overflowing with stale, dried up food. Definitely recommend!”

“I was so happy to reconnect with Ann Marie! She cared for our dog a few years back and we were thrilled to have her care for our elderly cat last week. We are looking forward to having her take care of him again this summer!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a child, mostly cats. I’ve helped family members take care of their pets over the years. I’m gentle, reliable, and patient, and I feel comfortable around animals of all sizes and energy levels. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, but I’m available in the evenings after work and throughout the weekends. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially for evening walks, feedings, and weekend visits. I always do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs around my schedule, ensuring they feel happy and cared for. Since I don’t host pets in my home and currently don’t have any pets with me in the U.S., I focus on caring for animals in their own familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions, respect routines, and make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. You can rely on me to treat your home and pet with the same care as I would my own.

About: I was born into a home with cats, therefore I have 47 years of experience being in their presence. For all of my adult life, I have had my own cats and have helped others take care of theirs by feeding, playing, scooping the litter and taking them out for walks on a kitty-leash. I have experience with ferrel, skittish, playful, needy and calm personalities. Presently my family and I have 2 tuxedo kitties whom we adopted 9 years ago. I love cats.
“I was initially super anxious about using this service, but Stephen put my mind at ease with incredible care, kindness, and communication. Amazing sitter, went above and beyond. Thank you!!!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was an early teen. The first dog I ever walked was a golden retriever named Buddy who dragged me down the longest driveway I’ve ever seen. I quickly learned how to make sure that didn’t happen (a good hold on the leash and a treat or two) and we became best pals. Since then I’ve dog sat for friends consistently. I’ve watched dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience caring for senior dogs (my own just passed at 16). I can administer medication if necessary. I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and truly miss having my own now. I am excited for the opportunity to care for your pups! I’m currently working from home most days and manage my own schedule. Some days are less meeting heavy than others. I have more time around lunch and after 3pm. I make sure to thoroughly follow all instructions and rules left behind by my clients. I know that mistakes can happen but I think a lot of them are preventable. Staying alert and paying attention can help you to make sure things go smoothly.

“Kayla took great care of Ruby while dog sitting. She provided plenty of updates and my pup had fun day with Kayla and her family. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kayla again for sitting!”

About: Since I was 10 years old, neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their dog(s). I've stayed overnight at their houses to provide the requested care as well as visits during the day. Additionally I’ve hosted pet(s) overnight. Currently I am working part-time and step out for about 4 hours for my shift then return home to study. My fiancé and I live together in our apartment and he helps provide pet care. Our weekends are typically open with an occasional event. I am an active person. I enjoy running, hiking, and long walks to release energy, especially with a canine campion. I've also brought dogs to local dog parks. I enjoy playing with dogs and even lounging at the house with them. At my apartment, the shared backyard has a fence and an outdoor lead as well.
“Our Cockapoo pup had a wonderful time with Jess and her family. She kept me up to date on Coco’s activities through the day with pictures and communication. Will definitely use Jess to board Coco in the future.”

“Jamie was wonderful! Kind, considerate, great communicator. My dog Eddie had such a happy day in her and her family’s care. We definitely look forward to next time!!”

About: I may be new to Rover but I’m not new to caring for your dog. As a lifelong pet owner, animal lover and proud rescue dog mom, I know that every dog has their own unique personality, routine, and needs. I raised my two rescue Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull mixes from the shelter, giving me hands-on experience with training, structure, and positive reinforcement. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I adapt my care to match both their personality and the routine you’ve established, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your dog’s stay will include plenty of one-on-one attention, walks to the nearby park, playtime in my fully fenced backyard, and lots of affection (including couch cuddles if they’re allowed!). I also believe communication is key, so you can expect regular photo and video updates throughout the day for complete peace of mind. My goal is simple: to become someone you can trust wholeheartedly with your best friend. I want you to leave knowing your dog is being cared for with the same love, patience, and attention that you would give them yourself. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My flexible schedule allows me to provide consistent attention throughout the day, whether that’s morning walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or simply keeping your dog company. I enjoy being active, so regular walks and outdoor time are already part of my day. Whether your pet needs a quick walk, overnight care, or an extended stay, I’ll make sure they receive the time, attention, and care they deserve—not just the basics, but plenty of love and companionship too. Every pet is unique, so I tailor my care to match their personality, energy level, and the routine you’ve already established. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I prioritize safety, consistency, and lots of love and attention. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any training cues you use so your dog experiences as little disruption as possible. In my home, dogs enjoy a calm, pet-free environment with plenty of one-on-one attention, a fully fenced backyard for supervised play, walks to the nearby park, and cozy places to relax. If your dog is allowed on furniture, they’re welcome to cuddle up on the couch with me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I’ll keep your home tidy, can provide regular updates with photos and videos, and make sure your dog feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. My goal is for you to return home to a happy dog and complete peace of mind

“My pup has done daycare with Jason three times now and she runs up to his front door excited each time. Jason shares photos and videos each day and maps of their walks and bathroom breaks. He’s a great communicator and it’s so comforting to leave my (big) dog with him when I’m at work knowing she’s fully taken care of. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Alan took excellent care of my young dog who is something of an escape artist. Pilot enjoyed his time with Alan and I enjoyed knowing that Pilot was happy and safe.”

My partner and I like to stick to a routine for all of our pets And in the care of another fur baby we would ideally like to stick to the same routine that we implemented in our home. In terms of behavior, we are willing to help pets with basic commands, while, watching out for any unusual signs of the pets behavior and notifying the parent ahead of time just ensure that everyone is on the same page. When going outside for exercise, we will ensure that your dog is in a close space unless you stay otherwise just for safety and security.
“Mayu loves getting dropped off to Atticia’s for daycare. She’s walked, fed, rested, and loved all day and comes home ready to knock out. I’m also so happy Mayu has a dog friend with Aurora- I think it’s really helped with her manners and socialization skills. Thank you for all you do, Atticia!”

“Kristen has been phenomenal with our dogs! I was initially nervous about having a dog walker, but Kristen has communicated constantly letting us know everything that happened each day. She sends very detailed updates with lots of cute pictures. She also has gone above and beyond cleaning up when our puppy has accidents and taking both of our dogs on long walks. I feel good knowing that she takes such good care of my babies while I’m away at work.”

“Zoe has been so great with our dog. Our dog can be nervous with new people and Zoe has been so patient and sweet with her. Zoe has also been very reliable and easy to communicate with.”

“Alexis did an amazing job with our dog, Duke. She took great care of him, giving him plenty of exercise and feeding him while we were away. We will definitely use Alexis in the future!”

“Sarah was awesome at accommodating a last min walk and was so sweet with my pup. She asked great questions and was nice enough to leave out fresh water for my dog when she left. We look forward to having Sarah help again soon!”

“Sarah is hands down the best choice for dog walking! Sarah has made sure that my dog has taken her medication on days she spits it out in her bowl, always makes sure she has water, and is cognizant of how much a dog can handle in weather extremes. She sends detailed updates that I look forward to every day, and with some pretty sweet pics too! I can’t say enough good things about Sarah. Professional, reliable, consistent, and a true dog lover. She lets my dog set the pace of the walk and leaves time for lots of sniffs and rolling in the grass, evidence of a happy dog. If you’re looking for a dog walker you can trust in your home and with your pets, look no further!”

About: What makes me different is that caring for animals has been a big part of my life for years. I’m currently in college studying animal care, and I also worked at a zoo for 3 years, so I’ve had hands-on experience caring for and working around animals. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets, including puppies, senior pets, disabled pets, cats, dogs, and reptiles. I’m patient, responsible, and I really take the time to get to know each animal and their individual needs. Since I commute to college and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot and have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m also a dog mommy myself, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets. 🐾 I’m a full-time college student studying animal care, and since I commute to school and only have one class a week, I’m home a lot of the time. My schedule gives me a lot of flexibility to take care of pets throughout the day, whether that means walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. Since I’m studying animal care, I genuinely enjoy spending my time around animals and getting to know their different personalities and needs. I’m able to work pet care into my weekly routine without it feeling like a chore, and I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal schedule and routine while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I follow their feeding schedule, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and make sure they have a clean, comfortable, and safe space. My home is also a great setup for pets. I have a fenced-in backyard, and I live close to a dog-friendly park and a dog park that’s only about 5 minutes up the road. I’m also near emergency animal hospitals, Petco, and Legacy Place, so there are plenty of pet-friendly places and resources nearby if needed. I know every pet is different, so I’m happy to adjust to their personality and routine. Whether they’re energetic and love going outside, prefer relaxing at home, or need extra patience and attention, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for.
About: Hi! I’m a warm, caring, professional dog walker looking to add some walks and boarding to my schedule. I absolutely love dogs, and will treat yours as if it were my own with all the love, care and attention they deserve! I am comfortable with puppies, seniors, and even have experience with more reactive pups. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! I am a professional dog walker with a local company two days a week, but am looking to add more walks and visits to my schedule. When I’m not dog walking, I’m working on building a sustainable swimwear brand from home, so I have lots of flexibility to work around your schedule. I don’t have any pets of my own, so yours will be the center of attention! I live on the second floor of a two family condo building. I don’t have a fenced backyard, but I live right off the Neponset River Trail and there are lots of great walking route and trails in my neighborhood. If your pet is used to sleeping in your room with you at night, I am happy to have them in my room, and can accommodate crated or uncreated dogs. In general I try to keep your pet’s schedule as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and at home.

I understand that they are family and will treat them as such! I’m currently working part time so I will have time to take care of your pet and make sure they have all the attention they need. I have reliable transportation and am a Boston native I have a fenced in yard and live very close to walking trails and a park. I have space to crate a dog inside if needed, or they can remain in or outside. I have two cats at home but when other pets enter the house they will be on the second floor only.

“I was very happy with Elvis it was the first time for him walking our dog Loki, Loki was very happy. Elvis is vey nice, professional and friendly will definitely use his service again 👍”
About: I have always loved taking care of animals since I was young- from dogs, cats, chickens, and fish I have always been surrounded by animals. I have a particular interest in animal behavior and training- I always want to ensure animals feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed when they are in my care. Before moving to Boston, I attended Colorado State University seeking my degree in veterinary medicine- the classes I attended focused on animal behavior, animal environment, and specifically handling large animals such as cattle. During my time there, I acquired my IACUC training for animal handling (can provide if needed, however it technically expired last year) and successfully performed medication administration, vaccine/medication injections, bovine castration, proper animal handling, and more. Unfortunately due to a family emergency I could not finish my degree, however I am looking to complete my animal training certification, as I still love working with animals! While I, myself, do not currently have any pets, my roommate has a cat that I help care for- his name is Boog and he's incredibly cute! I currently work part time Saturday-Monday mornings- after 3pm I am completely free! If your pets can be left alone for about 8-9 hours (travel time depending), I can house sit on these days while working. The rest of the week, I spend time on my hobbies and doing research on animal behavior, meaning I will have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles, and whatever else your pet may desire. I like to set up a trial run before any official appointment just to make sure your animal is comfortable with me and vice versa! This gives a great time where your animal has a familiar person (you!) to reassure them that I (a stranger) am no threat, as well as going over care instructions, any medical concerns, and your typical routine for your pet(s).
About: Ive taken care of personal, family and neighbors dogs and cats since very young. Ive also rescued cats since 9 years old. I have taught some of them basic tricks! I work a very flexible job and can fit in 3-4 hours from Wednesday -Sunday! I am also free to pet sit all day Friday through Sunday. I have a fenced yard and treats at home and will crate if needed. While at your home, I am happy to follow the owners instructions and be wary of the dogs directive.
About: I was in 4-H with my horse growing up - was raised with black labs, cats, and pigs. I volunteered to foster with PAWS and the Humane Society. I love having the flexibility of working remotely.... Keeping furry Family members company with much love, as well as getting to know new animal loving people! My current job has me working from home, occasionally having to spend a few hours a week performing tasks outside the home. I am never away more than a couple of hours (unless pre planned) so, I will have plenty of time to give your pet all the walks and playtime that they would like. I am very respectful and responsible. I can provide references upon request. I understand that each pet and household is different and will follow all requests exactly as specified.
About: Dogs are our friends and we should treat our friends how we would like to be treated! I grew up always having dogs and cats around and I couldn’t imagine it any other way! I have one cat at home who is deeply spoiled. I live close to many parks and will be more than happy take them for walks and runs. I will bring along poo bags and a collapsible water bowl to make sure your pup is well hydrated during our walk. I work Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. I will be available Monday through Friday for evening walks and anytime on the weekends. I will be able to give your dog a bath and a good brush after a walk if needed!
“Amanda was excellent! She was very kind, sweet and attentive with my puppy and took him on a nice long walk. She made sure to ask any questions and communicate everything, and we were able to trust her with our pup and our house while we were gone. We will definitely look to book with Amanda in the future next time we need a dog walker!”

“Pretzel had a great time at Alan's! We received lots of photo and video updates during his stay. Pickup and drop off were a breeze. Looking forward to our next booking with Alan for our next trip!”

“This was our second time working with Jess, and Duke was happy as can be. We loved the photos of Duke interacting with the other dogs and having a great time. Won't hesitate to have Jess watch Duke again.”

“My dog Tayto loves going to stay with Jason and Noah! He is clearly so happy and comfortable there that he runs to their door when we arrive. Jason sends the best photos and videos throughout his stay. Tayto can’t wait until next time!”

“Our dog Sherman had a great time with Tyler and Caroline! We recently moved to Boston and of course were nervous about finding the right care for our dog for a trip and all our nerves went away after meeting them. You can tell they absolutely love dogs and our dog had a blast! Will absolutely be rebooking”

“We had never left our fur babies with anyone outside of family before Kayla. She put our minds at ease and took such good care of them, and we could not be more grateful. Thank you, Kayla!!”

“They are a great team. They cared very well for my dog and made him feel at home. They were very flexible with drop off and pick up times. Took lots a great pictures. A very pleasant and positive experience with Sarah and Ben. I’m sure I’ll use them again.”

“Nick took care of Jessie for six days and did an excellent job! We had peace of mind during our trip overseas and received a wonderful photo update about Jessies stay with her furry friends. When we leave Jessie with Nick we know that she is well taken care of. Nick always provides excellent care for our senior dog and is attentive to her needs. He comes highly recommended.”

“Arianna took great care of my pup for two weeks while I was out of the country. She sent pictures daily and was great about keeping me up to speed about any health issues. Will contract her again for my next trip”

“This was our first time using Garrett to watch our pup and we absolutely would do it again! He was attentive, communicative, and flexible. He also handled our anxious dog excellently, being gentle with her but also making sure she got her exercise and play in. Above all, he treated her like a member of the family.”
