I grew up with two beloved family dogs, a lab/German shepherd mix and a golden retriever who were with us for 13 years. I was responsible for early daily walks through the woods in Minnesota, monthly baths, and helping with their routines as they aged. Coming from MN, I am used to having to put extra care into preparing dogs for the cold weather, whether its paw wax or booties, I have done it.

Since I don’t host dogs in my own apartment, all of my care takes place in your home and on walks in your neighborhood. I follow your routines closely: feeding instructions, walk schedule, crate or bed preferences, and any training cues you use. I keep dogs leashed outside, avoid unsafe or overly crowded areas, and stay alert to other animals, traffic, and weather. I’m respectful of your space, locking doors, tidying up after playtime or meals, and treating your home as if it were my own. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re safe.

Spencer was great to work with! He was professional, responsive, and took great care of my pup! I also had a last minute booking request with him and he was super flexible. He also sent frequent updates which were great to hear. I would love to book with him again!
Spencer was a godsend! He house sat my anxious, reactive dog Java for 4 days while I was on vacation. He was punctual and incredibly flexible. He sent regular updates, followed my care instructions perfectly, was patient as my dog warmed up to him. I would call Spencer again for any future sitting needs!

Spencer is so great with all kinds of dogs! He grew up with big dogs but he has always been gentle and loving with little dogs as well. I have always felt safe leaving animals with him and he is great at communicating with owners!

Schedule
I’m a graduate student with classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons, which leaves me available most mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and extended stays with your dog. Because my schedule is fairly predictable, I can offer consistent routines. I’m happy to coordinate around your dog’s feeding, walking, and bedtime needs.
