About: Hello, my name is Stacy and I’m 34 years old. I joined Rover because I love spending time with pets but I’m not in a position to have my own. Since having joined Rover, I’ve worked with reactive dogs, puppies a couple of weeks old, intact dogs and dogs having undergone surgery. I’ve also either pet sat or lived with Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Old English Bulldogs, Shih Tzus, Schnauzers, Irish Wolfhounds, Pitbulls, German Shepherds and others. This is aside from the cats, reptiles and tarantulas I’ve either sat for or interacted with. As of April 2026, my longest stay (over two weeks) has been for a dog with cancer. It’s been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’m available to sit, do drop-ins and walks every day of the week. I’m a small business owner in a separate industry and grateful for the flexibility. I generally do not wear shoes in people’s houses and I always clean up after myself if staying for several hours or more. I may bring house slippers to wear inside based on the circumstances. I am slightly anemic so I ask that you keep your place at a reasonable temperature. You may also provide a few blankets.

“Sarah and her family went above and beyond durin our senior dog’s recent stay. From daily walks and snuggles to administering medication and a special diet, Sarah made us feel comfortable leaving our pup. We so appreciated the daily videos and pictures and the opportunity to meet with Sarah beforehand. And it was no problem when she had to refill one of our dogs medications. Truly heroic!
