About: I'm a longtime dog lover and have looked after the pets of friends/family for more than a decade. I work from home and have my own dog (a very friendly Sheltie), so I'm always around to look after your pup! I work from home so I have plenty of time and flexibility to look after your pup! If I have to step out for a quick errand, we have gates and crates available to keep your pet safe. We live in a residential area with lots of green spaces and a fenced dog park nearby. About: A lot of my experience comes from caring for my girlfriend's two dogs, who are basically my two best friends—a Japanese Chin and a Lhasa-Poo. Whenever her parents are out of town, I'm usually the one taking care of them. We've even watched them for weeks at a time while their family was traveling, so I'm comfortable with everything from feeding and walks to playtime, keeping them on their routine, and making sure they get plenty of attention. I've also known our Lhasa-Poo since she was a puppy. When she first came home, my girlfriend and I spent that entire first week with her, helping her adjust to a new environment, keeping her company at night, and making sure she felt safe and comfortable. More than anything, I'm just a huge dog lover. Whenever I go back home to India, I spend a lot of my time hanging out with the neighborhood stray dogs. They've become part of my visits home. I know every dog is different, and my goal is always to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I'll care for your dog the same way I care for the dogs in my own life: with lots of attention, affection, and plenty of updates so you know they're doing well. I work from home, so I'm around throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule. That means I can take dogs out for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and make sure they're never left alone for long. I love staying active, so I'm always happy to fit in extra walks or outdoor time if your pup enjoys it. I also welcome boarding on most weekends, unless I'm out of town, which isn't very often. About: I have taken care of numerous dogs throughout my time in high school and college. Many of them being family, friends, and my own dog. Some of these dogs include a Jack Russell Terrier, a German Sheppard puppy, two Boston Terriers, and a miniature poodle. My care for all these animals has included walking, feeding, and playing with them. I have also cared for a diabetic cat, which included giving her medication. I’m currently a grad student at Boston University so taking care of your pets would be in between my class schedule or Thursday/Weekends when I have no classes! To develop trust with a client, I first prefer to meet and get to know them and their dog. After this, I like to get the rundown of the dog's daily schedule; where their food, leash, and toys are.
