About: I have had pets in my house for as long as I can remember. Cats, dogs, a bunny, hamsters, geckos, fish, and guinea pigs. I even fostered multiple cats/kittens at a time. I love all the little quirks every dog has and no specific needs are off limits. I also have experience administering meds to dogs and cats. I want the animals to feel love and comfort while with me! I treat animals like family :) I am currently looking for a part time job (hopefully rover!), so my schedule might change. But as of now I am free 7 days a week and any time. I have no pets in my place currently. But I can give your dog walks/potty breaks at any time of the day. The pets are allowed on the couch and in bed if they wanted but if you prefer to bring their crate that’s ok too!
“This was Kyle’s second time watching my cat and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. He’s great at communication, is very reliable, and my cat loves him.”
“Lauren did an amazing job caring for my 4 month old pup why I was away. Very professional and communicative. We will be using her again in the future and would definitely recommend!”

About: I provide dependable, high-touch pet care with a strong focus on safety, structure, and communication. With years of experience caring for dogs through personal, family, and friend settings, I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, overnight stays, and keeping pets calm and happy in their normal routine. My hospitality management background means I bring a professional, service-first mindset to every booking, including timely updates and photo check-ins. Caring for pets fits seamlessly into my weekly routine because I intentionally build my schedule around being dependable and on time. I’m very organized and make sure each booking has dedicated time for walks, feeding, play, and updates so every pet receives focused attention and consistency. My routine allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, and flexible weekend availability. Safety, trust, and consistency are my top priorities in both my home and my client’s home. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, behavior, triggers, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions before every booking so I can keep their environment as familiar and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I respect their space and carefully follow all routines exactly as requested, including walks, feeding times, medications, crate use, and house rules. I always double-check doors, leashes, gates, and entry points to ensure pets remain secure at all times. If caring for pets in my home, I maintain a clean, calm, pet-safe environment with plenty of supervision, fresh water, safe spaces to rest, and structured play and potty breaks. I avoid exposing pets to unsafe foods, objects, or stressful situations and make sure they are never left unattended in a way that could put them at risk. I also provide regular updates and photo check-ins so pet parents always know their pet is safe, happy, and receiving attentive care.
About: What sets me apart from other dog walkers is my experience working with a wide range of dogs, thanks to my time volunteering at a dog shelter. There, I handled dogs with varying levels of difficulty and learned to follow established procedures for their care and well-being. I’m skilled at adapting to each dog’s unique needs, whether it’s working with high-energy pups or shy dogs. My focus is always on providing a safe, structured, and compassionate environment for every dog. I work remotely part-time, so my schedule is quite flexible. I am available from Sunday through Friday, generally from late morning through the early evening. When caring for pets in your home, I follow their daily routine, providing scheduled feedings, fresh water, walks, exercise, playtime, and lots of affection. I ensure your pets feels comfortable and maintain their normal routine. My goal is to keep your pet safe, happy, and well-cared for.
“Paul is the best! I’ve booked with him for ages and he’s never disappointed. He is super responsive and dependable, even handling last minute asks and braving the winter weather. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Caitlyn took excellent care of Noodle! She was very communicative throughout our absence and kept us updated with pics of her visit and Noodle took an immediate liking to her. We would not hesitate to have Caitlyn as a sitter again.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities through family, roommates, and close friends. I’m comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, and playtime, and supporting both energetic younger dogs and calmer senior dogs. I’m patient and attentive, always taking cues from each dog to help them feel relaxed and well cared for. Growing up, I also had early exposure to agility work with my aunt’s dogs, which helped me learn calm, clear communication and structured, positive walks. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I primarily offer dog walks and drop-in visits during weekday evenings, with added flexibility on work-from-home days. I’m intentional about availability so I can be reliable, consistent, and fully present during each visit. I take safety and trust seriously when caring for pets in a client’s home. I carefully follow all instructions, respect your space, and ensure doors, leashes, and gates are secure. During walks, I prioritize calm handling, awareness of surroundings, and your dog’s individual comfort level.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always loved being around them. I currently have a dog that I trained myself, so I’m comfortable working with leash training, basic commands, and keeping dogs on a good routine. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and attention. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. I currently work on a hybrid schedule. On days when I work from home I’m able to do walks or come check in on your pup and let them outside. I will use the utmost respect when entering your home and ensure that I leave it the exact same way it was when I enter.
“Sarah was amazing. We were looking for someone to take care of our cat while we were away last minute and Sarah was incredibly accommodating. Not only was she easy to communicate with, she also made our schedules work for her to pick up the keys. Our generally suspicious cat trusted her instantly - I couldn’t believe (and was delighted by) the photo updates she shared at each drop in. Could not recommend Sarah more highly!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since my family rescued our first dog over 12 years ago. I have experience walking dogs, feeding dogs, washing dogs, and giving dogs their medications. I’m a night shift nurse, so I have unique availability that people in other careers may not. I specialize in taking care of people in their most vulnerable states, and would love to do the same for your pet. I work full-time at a Boston Hospital. However, I am a night shift nurse who works 36 hours overnight per week. The nights I work do charge each week, but I have a lot of availability during the day. I also only work every third weekend. I don’t plan to care for pets in my home as I live in an apartment in South Boston. However, I plan to care for pets in my clients’ homes well. I want your pet to feel safe and be excited that their friend has arrived to walk them, feed them, spend time with them, etc.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals since I was very young. It brings me joy to make them happy and ensure their needs are met and they feel loved. I’m currently working full time in Boston, but I have the ability to work remotely and have plenty of flexibility and time before and after work too! I always work to build trust with your pet and enjoy seeing how excited they get to play, eat, and receive lots of love and attention!
“Kathryn was the absolute best sitter for our cat, Rick! She was communicative, professional, prompt and sent the best photos. She fed, played with Rick and changed his litter box. Could not recommend Kathryn enough, I will be reaching out again!”

Mariana was so wonderful! We had a last minute notice on a trip, and she was available and responded within minutes. Very communicative, lots of pictures and check ins sent. Our dog Rusty loved her! She made sure to ask any questions on any information that was left out as well. We definitely will be rebooking in the future!!

Madison was absolutely wonderful with my dog during her drop-in visits. She was reliable, communicative, attentive, and clearly cared about making sure my pup was comfortable and well taken care of. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
