About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities through family, roommates, and close friends. I’m comfortable with daily routines like walks, feeding, and playtime, and supporting both energetic younger dogs and calmer senior dogs. I’m patient and attentive, always taking cues from each dog to help them feel relaxed and well cared for. Growing up, I also had early exposure to agility work with my aunt’s dogs, which helped me learn calm, clear communication and structured, positive walks. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I primarily offer dog walks and drop-in visits during weekday evenings, with added flexibility on work-from-home days. I’m intentional about availability so I can be reliable, consistent, and fully present during each visit. I take safety and trust seriously when caring for pets in a client’s home. I carefully follow all instructions, respect your space, and ensure doors, leashes, and gates are secure. During walks, I prioritize calm handling, awareness of surroundings, and your dog’s individual comfort level.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. From medium sized dogs to small dogs. All dogs I’ve ever had and been around have always been drawn to me. I’m currently working full time and work from home during Mondays, Fridays being able to have my own schedule. I am also free on weekends. I will follow your instructions on how to care for your dog and will be respectful of your space when coming in and out to let out or dog and walk them.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have over 20 years of hands-on experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and care for their pets while they were away. I believe every animal deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of love. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or a senior who needs extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own. I’m a full-time Bioengineering student, but I carefully manage my schedule to make time for pet care because it’s something I truly enjoy. I’m available on evenings, weekends, and during many daytime hours between classes. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive on time, and make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special needs. I keep a clean, calm, and secure environment, and I always make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of attention, and lots of affection. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to build trust and help them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.
“I highly recommend Kyle to care for your pet. Kyle took care of our dog over a long weekend and was amazing. He followed our directions and communicated with us frequently. Cute pics were appreciated:)”

About: experienced german shepherd owner of 5 years who has grown up around dogs! I love big and small breeds and won’t just walk/hang out with your pup, i’ll make sure they feel loved and safe while you’re away :) I WFH Wednesdays and Fridays (can do lunch walks in southie), and will be here most weekends, and would love to care for your pup! I can do stop ins, but won’t typically watch dogs in my own home due to lease restrictions. Very responsible with locking all doors and making sure your dog is safe

“Catherine did an outstanding job caring for our special needs cat. She was organized, detail oriented and had great communication before, during and after the scheduled visits. I was worried about leaving my cat since he has had some health issues recently, but Catherine immediately put me at ease because I could tell she truly cares about animals and would go the extra mile to ensure he is safe and healthy. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy our holidays and not worry about anything, and everything was in great shape when we got home. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since my family rescued our first dog over 12 years ago. I have experience walking dogs, feeding dogs, washing dogs, and giving dogs their medications. I’m a night shift nurse, so I have unique availability that people in other careers may not. I specialize in taking care of people in their most vulnerable states, and would love to do the same for your pet. I work full-time at a Boston Hospital. However, I am a night shift nurse who works 36 hours overnight per week. The nights I work do charge each week, but I have a lot of availability during the day. I also only work every third weekend. I don’t plan to care for pets in my home as I live in an apartment in South Boston. However, I plan to care for pets in my clients’ homes well. I want your pet to feel safe and be excited that their friend has arrived to walk them, feed them, spend time with them, etc.

About: Over the past year and a half, I’ve had the joy of caring for a wide variety of dogs in my hometown—what began as a one-time house and dog sitting job quickly turned into a steady stream of referrals through word of mouth. Whether your pup needs long walks, belly rubs, or quiet companionship, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. My schedule varies every week, but I do work a 9-5 corporate job Monday through Friday. My schedule is very flexible and love taking walking breaks throughout my day—it's the perfect way to recharge while spending time with your pup! I work a hybrid job and only go into the office twice a week, with the ability to adjust those days to best fit your pet’s needs. Whether it's a midday walk or some extra attention during the week, I'm happy to work around your schedule to make sure your dog is happy and cared for. I specialize in drop-in visits and dog walks, and I make it a priority to treat every pet like they’re my own. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
