“Sarabeth was great! She was great at reading and recognizing my dog’s boundaries, paying attention to house rules, and providing lots of fun for my dog. Will certainly have her back to watch Mae again”

“Katie was very responsive to meet up on short notice. We had a great meeting with Lou for future sitting opportunities. Katie was easy going, super friendly and transparent about her experiences with dog and cat care in people's homes. Katie was very forthcoming about her approach and very forward thinking about caring for Lou, asking many important questions and checking in on specifics to accommodate Lou and his needs. Katie's approach to pet care is very genuine and connected to the experience of the individual pet and owner- this is much appreciated. We look forward to working with Katie and would recommend her again as our current dog walker has to us.”

“Jose took care of our 2 kitties for a week and we couldn't be happier. He provided pictures and took perfect care of them, playing with them during each visit. we will 100% trust Jose to watch our girls for us again.”

“Tommy did an exceptional job caring for my two fussy cats for 6 days! My cats both need medicine and extra care every day and Tommy was consistent, reliable, and a great communicator. I can tell my cats were well cared for while I was away. Thanks so much Tommy!”

“Valerie was great with our puppy Blue! She was easy to communicate with, and took really great care of him. We were very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend her.”

About: I grew up in a home with dogs, cats, bunnies, hens and roosters. I have never lived without caring for an animal! I love being outside, going for walks, playing and gardening. I am a mom of two school-aged boys and a proud owner of two tuxedo kitties whom we adopted nine years ago. I work part-time in the afternoons as an outdoor preschool art specialist. I am free between 9:30 am, and 1 pm everyday, and Wednesday and Thursday until 3 pm! I may also have early evenings free starting at the end of June. I have plenty of time in my schedule to help you care for your animals. Looking forward to meeting them! I am fun, gentle, playful and caring, and have a good instinct for what dogs and cats need. I can read body language and am sensitive to energy. I look forward to learning more about your pets from you, getting to know them and forging a relationship.
About: I first started caring for dogs when I was 11 and my family adopted our then 12-week old puppy, Tulip (beagle-hound mix). I was the primary one responsible for her feeding and afternoon walks throughout middle and high school. I also routinely dog sat for neighbors who at the time had a senior poodle, providing daily drop ins and walks. Since moving to Boston, I have been fortunate to become a regular dog walker for neighbors and friends, with experience walking shihtzus, German shepherds, labs, and boxers. While I now own two cats, I would love to get outside and enjoy the summer weather with some new four-legged friends! I work for the public schools, so I am off all summer! I am happy to provide drop-ins or walks throughout the morning and afternoon M-F, with some availability on select Saturday and Sunday afternoons. **School ends on June 26th this year - on dates marked as available prior to June 26th, I can only accommodate afternoon walks between 2:30-7pm. I have cared for puppies all the way up through seniors dogs in their final days, so I am happy to accommodate the specific needs of your dog based on age and temperament. It is my existing habit to send a photo to friends of their dogs every time I visit or take them on a walk, as a way of making sure they know I have actually completed the service and their dog has been properly cared for!
“Emma was so wonderful! She was reliable, kind, and very loving with my two babies. She took such good care of them and sent report on how they were doing and pictures! It’s so hard leaving my dogs as they are my children, but I know that they were in wonderful hands!”

“Stacy was wonderful. We’re new to Rover and we’re new to her, so there was a lot information to convey. She made time for it and asked all the right questions. She did a wonderful job taking care of our cats!”

“James was an excellent caregiver for my cat. He came over early to see the house and meet Finbar, sent nice updates and pictures. I would be happy to use his services again.”

“Madison was amazing. Our senior cat needs daily medicines and we were feeling uneasy leaving her for a week. Madison was able to give her the meds quickly and easily and our cat enjoyed lots of pets and attention. Her daily updates were thorough, including lots of kitty pics, and made us so comfortable while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Oliver took great care of our sweet cat Waffles, dropping in twice a day while we were away for 9 days. The photos and messages were very reassuring and helped me feel less separation anxiety. I would definitely book with Oliver again!”
About: Hi there! I’m so excited to meet you and learn more about your pet and your current needs. I know finding a sitter can feel a little nerve-wracking, so I focus on being consistent, communicative, and truly attentive to your pet’s routine and comfort. I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from Great Danes to Labs to Frenchies to teacup Yorkies. I’m comfortable with senior pets and medical needs, including administering daily insulin and following strict feeding schedules and dietary guidelines. I’m calm, patient, and detail-oriented, and I focus on helping pets feel safe and settled quickly. I don’t currently have a dog in my home, so your pet will have my full attention and care. I work from home full-time, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. Dogs get frequent outdoor breaks and attention, and cats get steady check-ins, calm company, and routine-based care. I live directly across the street from the Arnold Arboretum, which is a wonderful, peaceful place for daily walks, and I’m also close to several dog parks for pups who enjoy more active outings. I have two children with me 50% of the time, and they’ve grown up around both dogs and cats. That being said, if your pet is not child-friendly, please still reach out. My children are with me every other week, and I’m happy to coordinate care to make sure your pet is comfortable and set up for success. I know it can feel stressful to leave your pet with someone new, and I take that trust seriously. I follow instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special care needs, and I’m thoughtful about each pet’s comfort, boundaries, and routine. For dogs, that means consistent walks, safe supervision, and steady structure. For cats, it means calm energy, predictability, and respecting their space while still making sure they feel cared for and secure. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for, and you feel fully informed and supported.
About: Your dog will have an unmatched experience with me and my sweet pup, Tina! I work from home full time, so your dog will always have company, structure, and plenty of attention throughout the day. We live just minutes from the arboretum which means long, enriching walks are part of our daily routine. My pup, Tina, is 4 years old and very chill. She loves having a friend around and I’m committed to making every dog feel safe, loved, and at home and making sure they get the care and affection they deserve.
About: I spent 2 years working as a pet sitter and EMT in Western MA before moving to Boston. I now work as a psychiatric physician assistant and have continued pet sitting in my free time because it brings me so much joy:) What I really love about being a Rover sitter is meeting new pets and earning their trust so that I can care for them just as a family member would. I currently have two cats of my own which I care for. I adopted both cats from the Westfield Homeless Cat Project so I am familiar working with cats who can be timid or shy at first! I have experience giving pets medication (pill or liquid) as my own cat requires daily anxiety medication:) I also have experience caring for and walking puppies under 1yr. I am comfortable working with any size or age dog! I am also open to caring for other types of pets as well! Please message me if you need help! I am always willing to talk about price adjustments :) I am a psychiatric physician assistant currently in between jobs so I have lots of free time especially during normal working hours! Once I start working again I will work max 4d per week and I never work on the weekend so I will still have lots of weekend availability as well as evening availability. I live in an apartment with my husband and our two cats. So I unfortunately cannot provide boarding services at my home for other cats or dogs.

I highly recommend Elizabeth for all of your dog needs. I have 2 dogs, one is reactive, and she was very thoughtful and gentle with him until they grew trust together. Elizabeth is always on time, and follows through with all her commitments. She is trustworthy, communicative, and friendly. I would recommend Elizabeth to anyone!

Mirabel was a huge lifesaver for us! She stepped in last minute to support us when our pet sitting plans went awry. She was so responsive and communicative, and sent great updates about our pets. We will definitely reach out to her for future care and wholeheartedly recommend her!
Morgan was super easy to communicate with. I really appreciate their care and attention to our pups. Morgan went above and beyond to make sure they got fed even though they can be very picky eaters. It's a relief to find someone we can trust to take great care of the dogs.

This was our first time booking Julie for a drop-in visit with our 4-month-old puppy, and it was a great experience. Our girl is very high-energy and currently teething, but Julie handled her wonderfully—giving her plenty of playtime and even taking her for a walk around the neighborhood. Julie arrived right on time and provided detailed updates and photos during the visit, which made us feel much more comfortable leaving our puppy at home. Her communication before the drop-in was also clear and prompt, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be booking Julie again!

Felicia took the time to do a meet and greet and also took great care of our three crazy pups while we were out. Very communicative and sent lots of photos, we don’t let many people watch our dogs so was very thankful Felicia was so great with them, highly recommend!
