About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all ages and personalities. I had my black lab for 16 amazing years, and after recently saying goodbye, I truly miss the snuggles, companionship, and joyful energy a dog brings into a home. While I’m not quite ready to commit to having another dog full time, I would love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own. For the past 6 years, I’ve also pet sat friends’ dogs in my home, so I’m very comfortable creating a safe, loving, and welcoming environment for visiting pups. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply making sure your dog feels safe and loved while you’re away, I’m here to help. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll make sure they’re treated with patience, affection, and care every step of the way. 🐾 I have a flexible schedule. I can be remote or in office, so I can be on your dog’s schedule. Morning walks starting as early as 6am and then every 2-4 hours depending on your dog’s individual needs. We have a very small fenced in yard, a large park and a fenced in dog park nearby. We currently do not have any pets or children in the home, so if you board your dog they will be a vip guest! There are about 15 stairs to get to our 2nd floor apt, but smaller dogs can be carried as needed and I have years of experience assisting my large lab up and down the stairs as he got older.
“We had an amazing experience having our dog Lola stay with Ruya and Ayberk for a week. They were incredibly reliable and kept us updated with lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Lola clearly loved being with them! We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

“They took care of our three cats wonderfully and provided updates so we knew how they were doing! Very kind and understanding, would do business again!”

“Ashely did a great job checking on Sherbert when I was out of town! She sent detailed updates and photos and followed all my instructions. Would definitely use her again!”

“Aislinn took wonderful care of my cat, Wolf, for 8 days while I was away. She reached out to me ahead of time to go over all the details of his stay. Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly easy to communicate with and very flexible - even accommodating a slightly later drop-off and pick-up than I had originally planned. She gave me daily updates with plenty of photos, which helped me feel reassured that Wolf was happy and well cared for. I would absolutely consider booking with Aislinn again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

“Melissa is the best she is always there when she says she will be and is very communicative and sweet! Every time I come home my kitties are the happiest and it’s so comforting because I know she takes amazing care of them while I’m away!!”

“Katherine took care of my two cats when I was out of town for a weekend. We had a meet and greet beforehand. She was very responsive and communicative about her visits. Even though I had no preference over timing, every morning she let me know what time she would stop by. After every visit she sent pictures and a written note of how the cats behaved and what food she gave them or what toys she had them play with. She was super patient with my shy kitten, who was getting over an upset tummy at the time. She gave him the probiotics as instructed and managed to get pictures even when he hid under the bed, and by day three he had warmed up to her! I definitely felt she took care of them as if they were her own cats, would book her again without a doubt.”

About: I am a current dog owner 7.5 years to one very lovable mixed breed terrier! She’s an older lady with tiny legs so her walking needs are minimal :) In addition, I grew up with two lab mixes who lived well into their teens so I have experience with larger, active dogs, as well as senior dogs! I work full-time in Tech but I am 100% remote. I have the flexibility to take on one-off walks and drop-ins in the Beacon Hill area as needed! I am very aware of the quirks some dogs can have, so I’m flexible and can adhere to owners instructions as needed! Because I have my own dog, I'm experienced with gaining trust with other dogs and ensuring their safety!

“Lisa checked in on my cat Keke on short notice and was wonderful! She gave detailed updates with lots of photos and I came back to a healthy happy cat! I could tell Keke loved playing with her! I highly recommend Lisa for your pet care needs. Thank you!”

“Julia was brilliant! We felt confident leaving our young cat while we were away for a few days because of her. I loved receiving the photos and I can’t thank you enough!”

About: I grew up with 2 cats and have been cat-sitting for family friends from a young age. While I no longer have cats of my own, I often take care of my roommate’s cats when needed. I am happy to spend as much or as little time with your cats as they want. As a former vet assistant and current vet student, I am also comfortable sitting for cats that need regular medications.
About: Hello, I’m Jenica ✨! I have 26 years of experience caring for dogs. I’m looking forward to loving your dog like my own! Being a dog lover is a huge part of who I am. I’ve owned big dogs all my life and have dog/cat sat for my community for 10+ years. I am so fulfilled by spending time with pups, which is why I’ve joined Rover. I work a 9 to 5, so hanging out with your pet is just a little something extra I do to add some joy to my day. My job is 100% work from home, so it makes it very convenient for me to do walks or drop ins before, during, and after my work day. I’m dependable, easy to communicate with, and always focused on making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away. My number one priority is always your pet’s safety. I keep it top of mind to ensure your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy. I’m very responsible with keeping doors locked and your home safe. I moved to Southie in Summer 2025, so I’ve really been enjoying getting to know the neighbors and the neighborhood. I’m the kind of person who will give pets to every dog I come across 😂 Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐕 I work from home full-time, which gives me a flexible schedule during the day. I’m available for walks and drop-ins Monday through Friday, and can stop by while you’re at work for midday walks, potty breaks, or check-ins. I’m happy to accommodate consistent weekly schedules or occasional bookings, and I do my best to be reliable and on time. Feel free to reach out with your needs—I’m flexible and will try to make it work! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to understand each dog or cat’s routine, personality, and any specific needs so they feel secure and cared for. I’m attentive on walks (always leash-aware and mindful of surroundings), and I make sure pets are safe and settled before I leave your home. I’m also respectful of your space and will follow any instructions closely. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during visits so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet and create a calm, positive experience every time.
“Juliet is excellent! This is my second time booking with her. She made my slightly shy cat feel very comfortable! My cat even went in for some lap cuddles which is rare for her. Highly recommend”

“Paul is the best! I’ve booked with him for ages and he’s never disappointed. He is super responsive and dependable, even handling last minute asks and braving the winter weather. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Caitlyn was amazing with my two cats! She's very friendly and gave detailed messages keeping me up to date on everything. Even my shy cat came out to interact while she was here. I will definitely be re-booking.”

About: I’ve lived with and cared for multiple cats over several years and am very familiar with their routines, personalities, and boundaries. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, playtime, and providing companionship while respecting each cat’s comfort level. I understand that many cats prefer consistency and their own environment, which is why I focus on calm, low-stress in-home check-ins. I especially enjoy spending time with playful cats and love engaging them with interactive toys like springs, string toys, and games like hide-and-seek, always letting the cat lead the interaction.

“Dayna is great!! I've been sending Penny to doggy daycare with her twice a week for almost a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. She sends pictures throughout the day which are so fun to receive and she's very accommodating and flexible with scheduling.”

About: My family has owned dogs since I was born and I’ve always loved being around them! In the past, I have dog walked for multiple families in the Boston area. I’m looking to expand my opportunities through Rover! I work full time but I’m also fully remote out of my apartment! I have a very flexible work schedule which allows me to do potty breaks or walks at any point throughout the day. I have a back deck where your dog can get fresh air during the day and I have a shared back area with my apartment neighbors!
“I had an excellent experience with our Jayden. She was available to help my dog and I during a snow storm and I had to go to work! My dog Jack was well cared for and she helped to ease my mind! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. My dog made himself right at home with her and cried when he was dropped off which means he missed her already and had a great time! I really appreciate the updates and peace of mind knowing my dog is in safe, attentive hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker.”

“I’m so grateful that we found Emily and Will! They jumped in to cover on super short notice. Fitz was greeted by a friendly face and literally leapt out of the car. They were communicative, kind, and I’d definitely ask them to watch my dog again!”

“Jim was super accommodating for my last minute request. He and his sons were so sweet with Mowgli, and even made him a little fort. His location is extremely close to South Station and easy to get to”

About: I have had pets in my house for as long as I can remember. Cats, dogs, a bunny, hamsters, geckos, fish, and guinea pigs. I even fostered multiple cats/kittens at a time. I love all the little quirks every dog has and no specific needs are off limits. I also have experience administering meds to dogs and cats. I want the animals to feel love and comfort while with me! I treat animals like family :) I am currently looking for a part time job (hopefully rover!), so my schedule might change. But as of now I am free 7 days a week and any time. I have no pets in my place currently. But I can give your dog walks/potty breaks at any time of the day. The pets are allowed on the couch and in bed if they wanted but if you prefer to bring their crate that’s ok too!
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up beside them and learned how to care for them at a very early age. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, personalities, ages; from dogs who were my family, from my friend’s dogs to dogs belonging to people in my local community. Since I’ve been living in Boston for almost a year now, I have scouted out great routes to walk dogs to local spots for play and enjoyment, especially in nature. Special skills include dog breed knowledge, basic commands training, clicker training, animal welfare, and basic wilderness first aid training. I work from home 70% of the time and my schedule is wonderfully quite flexible. I am able to meet basic needs like potty breaks or walks and easily adjust my routine around the dog’s needs. I have worked with many different dog personalities and characteristics before and can take care of your dog however needed. I allow dogs on the bed and couch, have plenty of treats on hand, have many pet friendly locations nearby to take them, etc.
About: I have been babysitting humans since I was 12, so I’ve always had a care giver personality. I got my first dog when I was three, and since then, we’ve gotten three more dogs. I absolutely love taking care of my neighbors dogs, but I am looking to expand my dog sitting network. I have a remote job, so open to dog sit whenever! As long as there is WIFI:) I also can take breaks whenever to go outside with the dog. I live in a separate appartement away from my dogs at home so pet owners will not need to worry about their dogs getting along with my dogs. I have a fenced in area. I also have easy access to the beach and castle island.
“Anastasia was amazing!! Visiting Boston for my bday Nervous to leave our puppy but she was so incredible with Bella and sent us updates all day! Thank you!”

“As a new dog mom I was hesitant to leave my puppy with a sitter. But I am happy to say that Atticia made me feel very comfortable. She responded to messages in a timely manner and kept me informed with pictures and videos throughout his stay. I will definitely use her again.”

“Owen has been great! I can tell our pup looks forward to seeing him. He provides feedback on the walk and even helps reinforce the training habits we’ve been working on implementing with our dog. It’s fun to see the photo updates from the walk he provides. 5 stars.”

About: Saying goodbye to my 15-year-old rescue last year was a true heartbreak, but it helped me realize that spending time with furry friends is healing. As many people say, “Grief is love with no place to go.” I’m looking for some dogs and cats to channel that love towards. I grew up around animals and started pet-sitting/dog walking in middle school, so I’m comfortable with all walks of animal life. As I’ve done with previous clients, I’ll love and care for your pet as my own❤️ I’m available for morning/mid-morning walks before 10:30am on Tuesdays and before 12pm on Thursdays. I’m super flexible on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so please don’t hesitate to reach out! We will make it work! Your furry friend would be getting all my love and attention while we are together! I do not have any pets, so yours would be my sole focus.

I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’ll make sure they’re treated with patience, affection, and care every step of the way. 🐾 I have a flexible schedule. “Wonderful experience. Sarah took in our two pups on a last minute booking for the weekend, made sure she had all the details about their care, and sent pictures of how well they were doing. We were confident they were in good hands.”

“Charlie had a great stay with Christina! I was nervous leaving Charlie and Christina sent photos throughout the stay so I could see what she was up to. Charlie had lots of walkies and snuggles and enjoyed her visit.”

“Thank you again John. Walking dogs in a dense urban setting is not without its challenges. John is so experienced with this and we can head out of town without concern for our dog when he's in John's care.”

“Great care and very responsive. The pups were so happy with the attentive nurturing care for the girls. They were so happy and comfortable. She would also send updates consistently. Will definitely book again. Thank you”

“Kristine is amazing! She’s boarded our dog multiple times now and she does the best job! She is always communicative and sends tons of photos daily, which gives such great peace of mind that our dog is happy and having a great time while we’re away. She takes such great care of him, talking him on walks all over the city. Our dog loves staying with her and I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Howie runs into Elizabeth and Rodrigo’s home every time I drop him off like it’s his own home!! That’s all you can ask for as a pet parent!! They are so communicative, flexible and kind.”

“Steven was great with our dog. We boarded her with him for a long weekend She is a nervous girl and often barks at new people. When I dropped her off he took her leash and her treats and immediately got her to sit and calm down. During her stay with Steven he sent us photos, which I appreciate. When I picked her up she was in good spirits and wagging her tail which is always a good sign. We will definitely be using Steven's services again.”

“Kerrin and Chris were amazing with our dog Lizzie—she had an absolute blast staying with them. They sent daily pictures, which gave us total peace of mind, and it was clear she was being cared for like part of their own family. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

“Julie was absolutely wonderful! Our dog can be quite anxious, but we could tell by his demeanor when he came home that Julie made him feel very comfortable and cared for! We'd love to have Dodge stay with Julie again, and we are very grateful for the updates and great care Dodge received!”

“Ester loved her weekend with Emily, Dan and Thomas! They treated her like family and kept us in the loop the whole weekend with updates and photos, which we loved. It was clear Ester was happy and comfortable the entire time. We would absolutely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for caring, attentive pet sitters”
