“Rachel took such great care of our buddy and we got lots of cute photos and updates. He had so many walks and fun that he didn’t even want to leave - we got to bring home a happy and well exercised pup (which takes a lot for our spunky terrier mix) Thanks for the extra love and care Rachel! Would absolutely schedule another stay :)”

“Zwany and Leandro take incredible care of my dog and cat. Having my pets stay with them makes vacations more enjoyable because I know they are being well cared for.”

“Victoria took great care of my cat and sent me lots of photo updates so I knew she was doing well. Easy to communicate with and I knew my pet was in good hands.”

“Leah was absolutely incredible, and I couldn't have asked for a better first boarding experience for my puppy, Luna. As a first-time puppy parent being away for several days, I was naturally a little nervous, but Leah went above and beyond to make sure Luna felt comfortable, safe, and happy every step of the way. Leah was incredibly caring, thoughtful, and attentive to Luna's needs. Not only did she take her on neighborhood walks, but she also arranged fun outings where Luna got to socialize with other people and dogs, which she absolutely loved. Leah sent multiple updates and photos every day, so I always knew how Luna was doing, and her communication was consistently prompt and reassuring. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing Luna was in such wonderful hands. I would book with Leah again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will truly care for their pet like their own.”

“Michelle took exceptional care of my very nervous and anxious dog. I received daily pictures and updates while I was away letting me know how my pup was doing. Would absolutely book Michelle again!”

“Zelun was so good with our dog. We will definitely be using zelun in the future. He sent lots of photos and had great communication. He also brought Iggy on many adventures each day like the park and nice walks!”

“Vanessa and her partner took great care of my little Mochi for a week and half. They went above and beyond what i would expect from any dog sitter. They made sure to exercise Mochi multiple times a day. They also taught my little one new tricks! Truly amazing. I had also left Mochi with a set of new treats I was hoping she would enjoy. Unbeknownst to all of us, Mochi ended up getting some diarrhea from those treats. Luckily, Vanessa was able to weed out the culprit very quickly, allowing Mochi to regain her appetite after discarding the treats. Vanessa made sure to send me plenty pictures and videos of my little one. Mochi felt right at home with them. I can't stress enough what a blessing it has been to have Vanessa take care of my little one in my absence. :D”

“Our pup, Wally, loves staying with Tyler and Caro! We get great updates, know he’s getting good exercise, and are confident he’s getting excellent 24:7 care. Highly recommend!”

“Shana was great with our dog Basil! She watched her just overnight but Basil definitely looks like she got plenty of walks, attention, and couch time! Will definitely keep Shana in mind for future sits!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs since I was 12. From my own family and friends’s dogs, to my roommate's pup, and previously caring for pets through Rover, I genuinely love having animals around! I have experience with dogs of all ages and needs, including caring for anxious puppies, senior dogs, and dogs who need medications on a schedule. I’m gentle, patient, attentive, and comfortable following whatever routine helps your pup feel most at home. Dogs are welcome on the bed here! Im happy to go on little adventures or stay in for plenty of cuddles. I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own 💛 I’m home often! I work from home two days a week and then usually back by 3pm on other days of the week. My complex has a designated dog area, lots of grass, and nearby parks for walks. I try to make every pet feel as comfortable as possible! I’ll follow your usual routine for meals, walks, medications, potty breaks, and bedtime. At my home pets get plenty of attention and company. There’s lots of light in my apartment, it’s quiet so they won’t feel anxious, and I have a designated dog play area at my complex. I love being outside so I’m happy to take longer walks if they need or keep things slow and cozy if that’s best. I’m very responsive and happy to send regular photos and updates!
“Ellis had a short stay with Emily and Daniel but will definitely be back! They sent great pics and updates and were flexible when our plans shifted slightly. Their dog seemed super sweet too and it looks like the pups got along well!”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life. I grew up beside them and learned how to care for them at a very early age. I have experience with many different breeds, sizes, personalities, ages; from dogs who were my family, from my friend’s dogs to dogs belonging to people in my local community. Since I’ve been living in Boston for almost a year now, I have scouted out great routes to walk dogs to local spots for play and enjoyment, especially in nature. Special skills include dog breed knowledge, basic commands training, clicker training, animal welfare, and basic wilderness first aid training. I work from home 70% of the time and my schedule is wonderfully quite flexible. I am able to meet basic needs like potty breaks or walks and easily adjust my routine around the dog’s needs. I have worked with many different dog personalities and characteristics before and can take care of your dog however needed. I allow dogs on the bed and couch, have plenty of treats on hand, have many pet friendly locations nearby to take them, etc.
“Barbara is literally the best and so, so helpful. She took care of my dog for 3 days when I had an extremely intense schedule. She accommodated drop off and pick up and was always early - when I arrived she was already downstairs waiting for me and I really appreciate that. She is experienced and can identify the needs of my dog and update me accordingly. When my dog returned to her place for the 2nd and 3rd day my dog looked so happy to be with her again. I’ll definitely have her taken care of my dog again if necessary”

“My sitter got sick and Jim stepped up very last minute to watch Freddie and was so wonderful. Very communicative and sweet with Freddie. His dog is super cute too! It’s always a little nerve racking using someone new, but I felt very comfortable leaving Fred with Jim. He also seemed to have a good time and was nice and calm when I picked him up. I would highly recommend Jim!”

“Winn did very well with Emily and Daniel. When I picked him up from daycare he was wagging his tail happily, having enjoyed a day with them and their dog.”

About: Hi, I'm Amy! I work from home full-time, so your pup will have company throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods of time in a strange place. I have experience sitting dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large ones, and your pup will be the only Rover dog I watch at any given time so there is no need to worry about potentially conflicting personalities. I'm an active person who loves the outdoors (averaging 13k+ steps a day over the past year), so your dog can look forward to long walks or even short runs, if I'm training for an upcoming race and they're up for the pace. My home is a 4-story brownstone with plenty of room to roam (pups are welcome on beds and furniture!), plus a small fenced-in backyard for outdoor time and quick potty breaks. I'm also close to several parks, including the beautiful, expansive Mary O'Malley Park right on the water, and surrounded by a neighborhood full of friendly dogs — so there's no shortage of ways to socialize and burn off energy. I also have my own dog, Poppy, an Aussiedoodle who's confident and easygoing around other dogs. She'll happily give your pup their space while still being a calm, friendly presence around the house and out on walks. I work fully-remote so I am home most of the time during the week. My own dog has social anxiety so she’s never alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time so your pup won’t be either! I have a fenced-in backyard (6ft tall) and a very active Aussie mix who will keep your pup company on long walks. I can crate dogs too if that is how they feel most comfortable. Otherwise they have full roam of the house and are allowed on furniture/beds as they like.

About: This is a joint account with my girlfriend Julia and I. We both love being around animals and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I grew up raising a German Shepherd and, more recently, a shitzu and Maltese! Julia grew up raising a Toy poodle. We’re reliable, attentive, and understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their pets are in good hands. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, we make sure every pet gets patient, personalized care and plenty of attention. As a medical student, I’m highly responsible, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure, and I bring that same level of care and dependability to looking after pets. We’ll treat your pets like they’re our own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I'm available most weekends but weekdays are a bit variable so please feel free to contact me with any questions about scheduling and I’ll do my best to be very transparent about my schedule. Creating a safe, trustworthy, and comfortable environment for pets is my top priority. I always follow owners’ instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and any behavioral preferences or restrictions. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, so I approach each animal with patience and attentiveness. I also believe communication is important, so I make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos while they’re away.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs, therefore I’ve had plenty of experience caring for them. Additionally, my family loves dogs, we love to have them in our home, and have a fenced yard where if weather permits they can play outside and burn off some energy. I’m currently working remotely, so have a pretty flexible schedule for walks during the day. Usual hours are from 9-5 pm, but like stated before, have the flexibility for walks since I work from home I have a fenced yard, I work from home so I would be great company for your pet. If needed I can crate your dog, take them out for walks during the day and entertain.

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and having my own dog since I was 12 made them a big part of my life growing up. Being away from home for college means I really miss my dog, which is one of the reasons I enjoy dog-sitting so much, it lets me spend time caring for and bonding with dogs while giving them the attention they deserve. Over the past three years in Boston, I’ve regularly dog-sat for friends and families who trust me because I’m dependable, attentive, and focused on maintaining each dog’s routine and comfort. I’m currently a senior in college with classes mainly in the mornings, so I’m home and available for most of the day. This schedule allows me to prioritize pet care, stick to routines, and provide consistent supervision and attention. When dogs stay with me, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for by following their usual schedule as closely as possible. Dogs are never left alone for more than four hours, and I send daily updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. My apartment also has a dog park amenity, which makes potty breaks and outdoor time easy, safe, and convenient
“Brendan has always been an exceptional dog-sitter and is the only one we have worked with since our move to East Boston! Brendan has allowed our dog Saoirse to make great strides in overcoming some of her separation anxiety, which has helped her become more independent even at home with us! Saoirse adores Brendan and is always excited for doggy day care at his place! We are so grateful to be regular customers and look forward to continuing to work with Brendan!”

About: I’ve been entrusted by friends and referrals from word of mouth to take care of cats and dogs. I’ve done both simultaneously and I love every aspect of the job. I live right next to a dog park and have made pet caregiver a part of my daily routine. I always have time in the mornings, afternoons and nights. I live in a medium sized two bedroom apartment with another girl and we don’t have pets so my home will be full range for your pet!

About: I have been surrounded by pets my entire life, and my love for animals has only grown over the years. From a young age, I developed a deep understanding of pet care, particularly with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Four years ago, I adopted two puppies and personally trained them into well-behaved, obedient dogs, which taught me invaluable lessons in responsibility, patience, and proper pet care. In addition to my personal experience, I spent two years volunteering at CAPS Animal Shelter, where I was responsible for dog walking, feeding, cleaning cages, and ensuring the animals were happy and comfortable. Through this, I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all temperaments and needs. I work fully remotely, meaning I am home the majority of the day and have plenty of availability and flexibility. I also have extensive experience house and dog sitting and have never had a bad review! I have 10+ 5 star reviews I can reference for you. I take pride in being trustworthy, reliable, and respectful of your space and pets. I am currently working from home, fully remote so I am home majority of the day and have tons of availability and flexibility for your pets. I have had many years of experience house and dog sitting and have never had a bad review! I am very trustworthy and will be respectful of your space!

About: I love animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I’ll take care of your dog or cat as if they were my own. I have experience walking dogs and caring for pets through Wag, where I hold a 5-star rating. I’ve been doing pet care part-time and have completed a variety of services, including home visits, cat sitting, dog sitting, and daily walks. “Juliana is great!!! She goes the extra mile in making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable which is important to me. My dog can come off strong but she didn’t let that scare her off, she was patient and gave him time to get used to her. Now he loves her and gets excited to hear her name!! As long as it’s okay with Juliana, I’d like to keep her around for a while!! Definitely recommend!!”

“William went above and beyond with our dog Homer, and this was our first time using Rover- 10/10 experience and will be using him again. Homer had so much fun with his other dogs, and had consistent updates throughout his stay that gave us so much ease while we were away. Thank you William!”

“Monica was able to watch Davoust over Christmas this year on short notice and I am so grateful to her and her entire family. My dog Davoust felt like he was part of Monica's family. She provided photo and video updates several times a day so I was never worried or wondering how Davoust was doing. Davoust even made a good friend in Monica's dog. They seem inseparable when together.”

“Greta is an amazing dog sitter! She provided lots of updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog looked incredibly happy and well cared for throughout the stay. She even gave my dog a bath, which was such a thoughtful offer. Juniper is also absolutely adorable, and it was wonderful that my dog had such a sweet companion to play with. I would highly recommend Greta to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter!”

“Another wonderful visit for my pup! I’m so grateful for the care you put into her visits, and the peace of mind I have knowing she is so well taken care of. Thank you!”
