WFH Pet Lover & Rescue Dog Parent
Hi! I’m a pet lover in my 30s who works from home in higher education, so I have a flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and keeping your pets company during the day. I’ve had dogs my entire life and am currently the proud parent of an almost 10-year-old rescue pup. Life with a rescue has taught me a lot about patience, reactivity, fear, and giving dogs the time and space they need to feel comfortable. I understand that not every dog wants to be everyone’s best friend right away, and that’s totally okay! I’m happy to follow their lead and your instructions. I’m also a former cat parent, so I’m very comfortable with cats - whether they want playtime and attention or would prefer that I fill their food bowl and respectfully mind my own business. I’m responsible, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m doing Rover as a side gig while saving for my wedding, and getting to spend my flexible WFH schedule walking dogs and hanging out with pets feels like a pretty great way to do it!

Safety, trust & environment
I offer dog walks and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine, whether that means a good walk, feeding, playtime, medications, lots of attention, or simply giving them some space. My goal is to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away!
Ratings and reviews
Meghan is a close friend I trust completely with my pets. She has lovingly cared for and walked my high-energy 50-lb Border Collie/Lab mix. She has also shown incredible patience and dedication with her reactive rescue dog, Fergus. I would recommend Meghan without hesitation to care for any dog!
Meg was absolutely wonderful with our dog! We hired her to walk and check in on our dog while we were out of town. She was very communicative throughout each visit and kept us updated with lots of pictures. She is kind, reliable, and caring, and our dog warmed up to her immediately. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend her!
Meghan watched my senior dog for a weekend. She’s very much in tune with asking what the dog needs to feel comfortable. It’s gives me peace of mind knowing she cares and will do anything for our pup!
