With over a decade of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes (from geckos to Great Danes), I bring a calm, attentive, and knowledgeable approach to dog sitting and walking. I am currently in a mentorship and shadow program intensive to also become a dog trainer, so your dog will also get to practice some skills with me! My journey with dogs began early with family pets and expanded into dedicated pet sitting for neighbors and friends. As a lifelong learner, I’ve spent years studying dog behavior, body language, and communication styles through training my own dog. I have experience working with reactive dogs, maintaining strict routines, and using consistent, structure to make every pup feel safe and secure. I also regularly assist a close friend who is a professional dog trainer, which has given me great insight into handling diverse personalities, energy levels, and care needs. Outside of pet care, I work as a mental health therapist. My professional background deeply informs how I interact with animals. Matilde took wonderful care of our two cats! We booked her a bit last minute before a long weekend away and she was able to make time for a visit to meet us and the cats before we booked her. Our cats immediately took to her and her sweet presence. While away, she sent extremely thorough report cards that gave us reassurance and a few giggles. She also uploaded lots of photos. She had no problems following the instructions that we left for her, and it was apparent that our boys were well taken care of upon our return. We will certainly be working with Matilde again for any future trips away.
Heidi was bery warm and caring to Harpo. Jun was a great addition to the service as they plaed well. Harpo even saw Juni in the park a few days later and it was clear they became fast friends - played so well together! Heidi as definintley a great fit for my puppy still learning maturity out and about. Juni was a very good influence. I woul recommend her and will be using her again!
