Hi! My name is Teylah, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 6 years and I’ve had pets my whole life. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or small animals, I genuinely love spending time with all kinds of furry companions! I’ve worked as a veterinary technician for 4 years prior to receiving a Bachelors Degree in Biology. I’ve also been a volunteer at the MSPCA and the Animal Rescue League of Boston, helping with small animals and their spay/neuter clinic. I have experience with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra care, and I always tailor my approach to each pet’s unique needs. From long walks and playtime to medication routines or just quiet company, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets and your home. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing.

Teylah did a great job--she asked thoughtful questions, was exactly on time even though she didn't have to be, and got my shy cat to come out of her lair and hang out.

Teylah was great and professional, it was her first time sitting a chinchilla but she was easily able to follow the care instructions, I would recommend her for small animal care!
Teylah was fantastic with our cat and us humans. She was easy to communicate with, was proactive in solving problems, improvised solutions, and we returned to a very happy and well-cared for cat. I would definitely book her again!
Teylah is wonderful with animals. She has background as a vet technician where she has cared for animals and is extremely knowledgeable about anything they may need. She is patient and kind and would be a wonderful person to trust with your pet!
I highly recommend Teylah as a reliable person to care for animals. She grew up with a cat and dog and was the one in the family to take the dog for her walks. Because of Teylah’s love for animals, she worked at a veterinary hospital throughout college and volunteered at the MSPCA and animal rescue league walking dogs and caring for the animals.

Schedule
I currently work full time from 7am-4:30pm M-F. I will be available outside of these hours. We can coordinate a time that works for both of us!
