Availability
I work a corporate 9-5 job, but I work from home on Mondays & Fridays and can be more flexible with your schedule. I go into the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, so my availability those days is limited to early morning & evening. Saturdays & Sundays are open availability as long as my schedule on Rover says I’m available!

Safety, trust & environment
I carry a fanny pack of first aid supplies with me for every visit, including vet wrap, gauze, quik stop, saline, sterile water, churus, feliway spray, nail trimmers, a slip lead, etc. for quick assistance. My job is to thoroughly communicate with you during the visit in case of emergency & leave detailed Rover cards so that you know exactly what happened during a visit. And I love being able to do that job! ❤️
Information Sarah C. would like to know about your pet
Please alert me of all medical conditions, including chronic conditions & food/environment allergies. I do carry Churus and dog treats on me, but will never give one unless authorized by you. As always, let me know of any special requests you have and I’ll do my best to accommodate them.
A typical day
I want to know all there is about your dog or cat- what toys & treats are their favorites? What are their favorite places to hide or explore in their home? In any case, I work to what your cat or dog desires & won’t push them to play when they aren’t interested. If a great day in their mind is your cat sitting on a stool staring at me, great! If your dog wants to play, great! At the end of the day, I’m looking forward to loving your cat or dog while you are away.

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Sarah & I am excited to now be a Rover sitter in Boston, after previously working as a sitter in Las Vegas and Ohio. I am lucky to have worked with animals/veterinary world my entire life and have had numerous opportunities to train & work with animals: - Veterinary assistant for 4 years w/ cats, dogs, exotics (including injections, blood draws, monitoring anesthesia for surgeries, ER triage & stabilization, running doctor & technician appointments, etc.) - Spay & neuter clinic vet assistant (anesthesia monitoring + surgical post-op care) - Research assistant at a vet school studying animal influenza (swine & avian) - Volunteer at various animal shelters (specifically behavior modification training with high stress/reactive dogs) …and much more! I actually still work in the veterinary field, but now on the industry side. I had always loved working with dogs & building great relationships with them, earning their love and trust. I have also worked extensively with reactive dogs (whether it be noise, human, other animal-reactive etc.) in shelters but also in homes and with boarded veterinary behaviorists. I am also a big lover of cats & working with cats. I’ve always been fascinated by feline behavior, whether in a veterinary clinic or in their own environment. One of my biggest strengths is patience-I work with your cat(s) to understand the world from their point of view so that they are comfortable with me being in their environment.

Sarah is the best! The girls love hanging with her!

This is our second time having Sarah care for our two cats while we’re away for a week, and she never disappoints! She leaves such detailed descriptions of her visits and each cat’s mood, and sends plenty of pictures. We truly look forward to reading her Rover cards each visit. We came home to happy cats and a clean home. Couldn’t recommend Sarah’s services more!

Sarah was absolutely wonderful! She took care of our two cats like they were here own. Every photo she sent they seemed so happy and cared for!! I will absolutely be using Sarah again anytime we are out of town. Me and the kitties love her!!

Sarah took such great care of our cat while we were away. She was very reliable and made sure Circe got plenty of attention. She provided us with a very detailed update on her visit and also took some great pictures - We would highly recommend her for anyone in need of a pet sitter!
