About: I have grown up with my family owning Labrador Retrievers, grandparents owning Bischon Frisches and best friend owning a Puggle. I am familiar with caring for all types of dogs, and cats as well. I can administer medicine if needed, I have plenty of experience. I go for daily runs and walks, and would love to kill two birds with one stone and get in my exercise while spending time with furry friends. Playing frisbee or throwing around a ball was my dogs favorite thing to do. Most of all looking to spend time with your pet.. since I left mine behind with my family in New York. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have. I’m willing to travel, so distance is not a problem.

“Mengyao was wonderful with our dog! Very energetic and loving, asked great questions, and even sent us a couple of videos along with many photos so we were able to know that Navi was in good hands the whole time. We will definitely have Mengyao walk Navi again soon!”

“Caroline was great to work with! She was very communicative and worked with me to find a good time to meet my dog and take him for a walk. He was very happy and tired when he got back. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Caroline again!”

About: What sets me apart is that I’m really consistent and dependable—I take schedules seriously and I’m timely with walks, meals, and potty breaks so your dog’s routine stays the same while you’re away. I also have a lot of real experience with longer care. I regularly watch my cousin’s dog and have done plenty of overnight stays, including trips that were two weeks or longer. I’m comfortable handling the day-to-day stuff that matters: frequent walks, keeping them calm at home, and following special diet instructions exactly. On top of that, I’m confident walking multiple dogs at once and keeping everyone safe and under control. I try to meet each dog where they’re at—whether that’s a puppy with lots of energy or a senior who needs a slower pace and a little extra patience—and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you never feel out of the loop. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine. I work part-time as a host at a brunch spot, so my schedule is flexible, and I have lots of availability in the evenings for walks, drop-ins, and dinner-time routines. I already take daily walks, so adding a dog (or two) to my routine feels like the perfect fit. I’m also very accommodating with different schedules—whether your pet needs a consistent weekday plan, last-minute help, or specific timing for meals and potty breaks, I’m happy to work around what you need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding (including special diets), walk times, potty breaks, and any house rules. I make sure they get the right mix of exercise, play, and calm downtime, and I’m careful about safety—secure doors/leashes, clean bowls, and a tidy space. For overnight stays, I’m comfortable handling the full daily routine and keeping pets settled for longer trips, with regular updates and photos. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I keep things calm, clean, and structured. I stick to the schedule you share, provide frequent potty breaks and walks, and make sure pets have a safe space to relax. I’m also happy to accommodate different energy levels—whether that’s extra playtime for younger dogs or a slower pace and more breaks for seniors
“Oliver was great and handled my two weirdo dogs very well. I came home to happy pups and he communicated well. I would love to work with him again, thank you so much Oliver!”
About: As an animal lover of all kinds from Guinea pigs to Great Danes, I have 10 years of experience taking care of my own dog and Guinea pigs as well as a year of experience in Emergency and Intensive Veterinary Care working as a Vet Tech Assistant at one of the higher ranked animal hospitals in Connecticut. I have experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, and guinea pigs of all ages and in all different conditions of health. I am trained in animal CPR, Care (cage cleanings, food, water, etc.), walks every 2-4 hours, and more! So if your pet makes a mess or needs a little extra love - there's nothing I can't handle! I am currently home from college for the winter, so I am free most days of the week Mondays through Fridays, from extremely early mornings to later nights! *I will not be in the United States from June 20th until July 5th as I will be visiting family abroad :) In my own home, I have a dog and a guinea pig - this means frequent walks, feedings, plenty of play time and love, cage cleanings, enrichment, nail trimmings (only done by self on guinea pig), and baths every so often. I am of course going to treat your pet as I would my own, not just with plenty of love, but if there are any services you would like done while I am with your pet, let me know!
“Neha was fantastic! She took the time to meet Comet the day before his first walk, which was incredibly helpful. It was clear that she's experienced with dogs and understands the concerns of anxious pet owners. During Comet's walk, Neha was very patient with him while he was adjusting to having a new walker. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos of Comet. Neha is highly professional and a true expert in dog care”

Pet care is my main commitment. My schedule is fully flexible to prioritize your pet’s routine for walks, meals, and companionship, ensuring they never feel lonely. Safety & calm come first. About: I am a Boston nurse looking to spend some time caring for dogs on days off! My schedule is very flexible and open! I typically work 3 days a week so I have many days off!I am open to staying in house to care for the dog! I love walking dogs and helping with house training and play. I grew up with an adorable yellow lab and have helped many families in town with their pets as well. I absolutely love pets (cats and dogs), I love the outdoors and would be more than happy to take pets on several walks throughout the day! I am very trustworthy, responsible and reliable. I will always be on time and energetic to spend some time with your pet! I am currently on a leave from work and have lots of free time to spend caring for your pets! I am available for drop in visits as well as longer periods of time! I make sure to always keep dogs on a leash while out and about. Prior to sitting I make sure I have a good understanding of the animal.
About: I’ve had cats, dogs, and hamsters and I am willing to experience a lot more! Don’t worry, I always enjoyed animals and providing them with love and care, so your mind will be at ease when you are away. I am currently in school full time and also on a per diem work schedule right now. Aside from studying, I have plenty of time to see your cute companions, and spend time with them. Who knows, maybe while we’re together we can become the best study buddies. I am also currently completing two clinical rotations. One on Wednesday from 6:30am to 1pm and another on Friday from 7am to 3pm. I am always willing to discuss further if you have interest in booking. As I’ve had plenty of experience with Cats, I’m well aware of choking hazards on string like materials. I try to keep items like this out of reach! I am very clean when it comes to my space and noticed that this helps as some kitty’s can be a little curious and knock things off surfaces. When things are put away correctly there’s less chance for mess or danger. I am still gaining some experience with Dogs and puppies. As far as safety, I only do leashed walks to not only protect your pup but others who may be passing by as well! Again, I'm pretty organized and will avoid leaving items out, especially food! I know some animals are very food motivated and leaving food products out can be dangerous.
About: Note: I am unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as Mondays after 5pm, Wednesdays after 4pm and Fridays between 1230pm to 6pm. I have been around dogs all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! They completed a five mile hike that has a fairly long and vertical scramble section at 14 years old! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall, I am starting my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.
About: I have worked as a dog daycare attendant, so I am familiar with all types of dog breeds and behaviors! I can administer various types of medications (pills, inhalers, eye drops, etc,), stick to diet plans, and conduct basic training. Your dog will be in wonderful hands. I am familiar with all sorts of things, so reach out to me if you have specific care requirements! I am really flexible as a student! I am completely free on Tuesdays and Fridays, as well as every morning and evening! Don’t hesitate to reach out to see if we can make something work! I take great care to reach out and discuss all details of your pet’s care. I want to make sure that I know all the ins and outs of your home situation to help your dog stick to a routine! I think my greatest skill is following instructions to a T, so you don’t have to stress about anything.
About: I am fully available from Thursday to Sunday and working from home Monday, Thursday and Friday. There are two days in a week, on Wednesday and Thursday, dogs will need to stay at home themselves for 6-8 hours. As a caregiver, I believe in providing your pet with a safe, enriching, and joyful experience. My commitment is to give your companion all the support and affection they deserve. Continuous Monitoring: I maintain constant vigilance, carefully monitoring behavior throughout the day. This proactive approach allows me to identify and redirect any potential unwanted behaviors before they become an issue, ensuring a calm and safe environment. Positive Spoiling: I utilize a positive reinforcement approach. Your pet will be frequently rewarded with high-value treats (as approved by you) and loving attention for good behavior. This method builds trust and encourages a happy, well-adjusted pet. Tailored Love: Every pet is unique. I ensure that all the love, cuddles, and rewards are tailored to your pet's specific needs and preferences, guaranteeing a truly spoiled and happy stay. I maintain a highly flexible and reliable schedule, offering full-day availability every Thursday and Friday, with strong availability extending into Saturday. My commitment is backed by my partner, who can provide trusted assistance for bookings needed on Sunday and Monday if required. As I am a very active person, I prioritize physical and mental stimulation for all the dogs in my care. This means your pet can look forward to long, fulfilling walks and ample playtime, with the duration and intensity always tailored to their specific breed and energy level. My overall schedule flexibility during these days allows me to accommodate various client needs and potentially last-minute requests. My home offers a safe and enriching environment, highlighted by a fully fenced yard where your dogs can freely and securely run, play, and explore. They will also have wonderful company and socialization opportunities with my friendly resident dogs, Maribelle and Tsuki. Furthermore, for those dogs who may need a secure retreat or scheduled downtime, I have spacious, comfortable crates available inside the house to ensure every guest feels secure and can enjoy peaceful, quiet time when needed.

West Roxbury dog parents share their Rover experiences
Mollie was so wonderful with our dog! We were upstairs when Mollie arrived, and hearing our dog be so excited to see her and Mollie be so excited in return was so sweet. Millie is communicative and gave us great updates and fun photos. Will certainly continue to ask her to care for our pup!

Kayla was easy to communicate with, sent some super cute pictures of the walk and was great letting us know how our new pup did on the walk with her new pup friends on their walk. She followed all directions for our pups routine very well! Definitely recommend her.

Katie was so easy to communicate with and to make arrangements on very short notice to walk our dog. Our “regular” dog walker was unavailable and we needed to make plans at the last minute. Katie arrived promptly and texted me upon her arrival and when she left our dog off at home. She sent pictures during the walk and reassured us that our dog was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely use Katie again in the future!

we are seriously the luckiest people ever to have found riya. like… best dogsitter on the planet. no exaggeration. our pup had the absolute time of his life — so many walks, so many cuddles, and so many photos that made us literally squeal every time we got an update. riya paid attention to every little detail we mentioned and treated our dog with so much love and patience. we could fully relax on our trip because we knew our baby was in the best hands. we came home to a happy, calm, perfectly cared-for pup who clearly adored his new bff. forever grateful and already planning our next booking. if you get the chance to book riya, don’t even think twice — just do it!!!
