About: As a new pet sitter on Rover, what sets me apart from others is the genuine love and lifelong connection I have with animals. Growing up in the Philippines, I had the privilege of taking care of three dogs and two cats from a young age, instilling in me a deep appreciation for the unique needs and personalities of each pet. Additionally, my two years of experience nurturing my own cat, Tippy here in the US, has honed my skills in understanding and catering to pets' emotional and physical well-being. I was able to teach him some tricks too like sit, stand, stay, and go before he dug to his food, jump, and down. I am committed to providing a loving and nurturing environment for pets in my care, ensuring they feel secure and cherished while their owners are away. Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine, and I am committed to providing the best care for your furry companions like they are my own. Currently, I am taking online classes which allows me to dedicate my time and attention to your pets daily. With this schedule, I can offer three visits per day to ensure that your pets receive the care, love, and attention they need. Whether it's feeding, playtime, walks, or just some quality companionship, I am here to make sure your pets are happy and well-cared for throughout the day. In my home, my pet enjoys a safe, cozy environment with all the essentials, including free spaces to walk around, food, water, and toys. I stick to his routines, offering regular meals, clean water, exercise, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. When caring for pets in a future client's own home, I prioritize routine consistency and safety. I follow specific instructions, feeding schedules, and engage in interactive play, walks, or cuddle time for their well-being. I'm adaptable, ensuring each pet's unique needs are met with love and attention.
“Lauren was amazing with our dog, Coda. From the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. She was warm, attentive, and truly treated him like one of her own. We got updated during the work day, and it was clear he was happy and at ease in her care. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were at work. We couldn't ask for a better sitter — Coda can't wait to go back! Highly, highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver.”

About: Hi there! I’m so excited to meet you and learn more about your pet and your current needs. I know finding a sitter can feel a little nerve-wracking, so I focus on being consistent, communicative, and truly attentive to your pet’s routine and comfort. I’ve cared for animals my entire life, from Great Danes to Labs to Frenchies to teacup Yorkies. I’m comfortable with senior pets and medical needs, including administering daily insulin and following strict feeding schedules and dietary guidelines. I’m calm, patient, and detail-oriented, and I focus on helping pets feel safe and settled quickly. I don’t currently have a dog in my home, so your pet will have my full attention and care. I work from home full-time, so I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. Dogs get frequent outdoor breaks and attention, and cats get steady check-ins, calm company, and routine-based care. I live directly across the street from the Arnold Arboretum, which is a wonderful, peaceful place for daily walks, and I’m also close to several dog parks for pups who enjoy more active outings. I have two children with me 50% of the time, and they’ve grown up around both dogs and cats. That being said, if your pet is not child-friendly, please still reach out. My children are with me every other week, and I’m happy to coordinate care to make sure your pet is comfortable and set up for success. I know it can feel stressful to leave your pet with someone new, and I take that trust seriously. I follow instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special care needs, and I’m thoughtful about each pet’s comfort, boundaries, and routine. For dogs, that means consistent walks, safe supervision, and steady structure. For cats, it means calm energy, predictability, and respecting their space while still making sure they feel cared for and secure. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My goal is simple: your pet feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for, and you feel fully informed and supported.
About: 🐶Both Noah and I (Jadeth) grew up with dogs in the home from childhood to adulthood! We both have experience with various different breeds from chihuahua, pitbulls, australian shepherds, and huskies! Each of the dogs we cared for had different levels of energy and ages from puppy to senior. 💕I love the pure love and kindness that dogs show towards people! And it is a joy to get to cuddle and hang out with them! -Jadeth 💕My favorite thing about dogs is that no matter what, when you need them they’ll be there. -Noah ⭐️We both have experience with administering medications, managing special diets, and providing care for cats as well! We are both online college students with a ton of extra time to care for your furry friend! Drop-In Visits: We offer drop-in visits every day of the week! -We recommend 60 min visits for dogs that require walks longer than 20mins so there is still time for in-home play/care, or households with several pets (3 or more)! Dog Walking: We offer dog walking every day of the week! -This includes basic meal feedings and water bowl refills as well, but majority of the time will be spent outside! House Sitting: Noah offers house sittings every day of the week! -Please let us know if you would like 24/7 care at your home or if leaving the home for meals, errands, or a quick run home is appropriate with your pet's needs! Pet Boardings: We offer boardings every day of the week! -We prefer about a 2 weeks notice for pet boardings, due to the schedule adjustments they may bring! -We have 2 cats in the home that are typically friendly with other cats or low energy small-medium dogs! -If your dog or cat is not friendly with other cats, we do have a gate that divides up the house so both parties have their own space! Doggy Daycare: We offer doggy daycare every day of the week! -Please let us know if your dog prefers to be alone rather than with other dogs, so we can schedule accordingly! We care for your pets as if they are our own! We prioritize meeting their needs and wants, and making your fur baby feel safe and loved. We follow their food, medication, and potty break routines closely! We do not smoke our the home and have only pet-safe plants around the house! And we will send check-in photos and texts during our visits, boardings, sittings, and walks!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Roxbury
Here’s a natural, polite English version you can send to the sitter: “I was a bit nervous because she’s still a puppy, but it turned out to be unnecessary worry. I usually pay close attention to how she is after coming home from being left with someone, and Corie seemed very relaxed and happy, so I felt reassured. I’m thinking of booking again next month.” If you want it a bit warmer / more appreciative: I was a bit nervous since she’s still a puppy, but it turned out to be unnecessary worry. I usually watch her closely after she comes back from being away, and Corie seemed very comfortable and happy, which really reassured me. Thank you for taking such good care of her — I’m planning to book again next month.

Mirabel was amazing with our crazy 8 month old lab. He has so much energy. We appreciate her time and dedication to him today! She took him on a walk and did commands. He loved her! My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the care that was provided for our fur baby!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your West Roxbury commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
