I will care for your pet as my own
I have owned dogs my entire life. I have a 3-yr old Bernedoodle. I routinely care for my children’s dogs. I would love to care for your dog as well. I would only have your dog in addition to mine. I don’t sit for two families at once (except for my kids). I am willing to take two dogs if they are good with my girls and are good on leashes. If your pooches are good with coming when called, I will take them to fun places to run and play with my puppy. What sets me apart is how much I love dogs. I will love and care for your dog as though she/he were my own. While your dog(s) are here, they will be mine and I will love them as such. I have trained puppies and have taken care of elderly dogs forever. Literally. I do not remember not having a dog in my life. As an adult, my family’s first dog was a giant golden retriever that we rescued. Since then, I have always had at least one dog, usually two.. I have a crate for my puppy. My old lady sleeps on a chair in my bedroom. Happy to accommodate your crate if you would like your doggy to have one. Happy to have your dog sleep in my room and on my bed if that is what they like. Or on a dog bed near me. My son’s dog likes to sleep virtually on top of me. I love it. Bottom line is that I will treat your dog as I treat my own. And I have always treated my doggies as if they were also my children.

Connie took great care of our dog Rudy! We’d love to have him stay with her again.
Connie took excellent care of our dog while we were away. She sent photos and updates so that I knew things were going well.
Connie was flexible with our last-minute booking and extremely responsive. More importantly, it's pretty obvious she is a dog person through and through. She asked lots of questions to ensure our pup would be comfortable with her and she was at ease with our large, energetic dog. Her own dogs, Ziggy and Brystol, could not have been more welcoming and I know they went a long way to making our dog comfortable with her stay. Connie was able to take our dog along for long walks and sent lots of photo updates while we were away, which was very appreciated. I'm sure our dog will be staying with Connie and her pups again!
Connie is phenomenal with dogs and animals in general. She has had at least one dog for as long as I can remember and treats them so well. The joke is that our family loves and treats dogs better than humans. She is very caring and attentive, and has a huge heart for animals. She will be a fantastic pet sitter.

Schedule
I currently help care for my Mom three AMs for a couple of hours per week. Otherwise, I would be free to love and care for your dog . I have two dogs of my own. I walk them daily. Would happily accommodate additional walks for your pooch.

Safety, trust & environment
Because I have my own dogs, I can only care for dogs at my house. I have an electric fence, so my dogs never leave my property. However, I have doggies here all the time who are not on a fence. I always monitor them when they are outside. In my house, dogs have the run of the place unless I am told they need to be confined. I have child/dog gates I can install to confine dogs to my family room.
Pets
A typical day
I play with my dogs daily. I walk them daily. I am leery of dog parks, but love walks where I can let the dogs off leash to do zoomies with each other. I would not take your dog to a public dog park, but I would take him/her to any of the many local fields to run with my puppy, and maybe with one of my kids’ pooches as well. At home, your pooch would get all the kisses and lovies my dogs get. They would be mine while they are here.
