Oscar provided daily video updates that allowed me to know how well Rubix was doing, which really eased my mind while I was away. Oscar was always very communicative and always responded to all of my messages within minutes - he was also very generous in being flexible with the dog sitting schedule (as I was concerned I might not make it back from traveling due to a recent blizzard), which helped reduce any stress I might have felt if I didn’t pick him up when I originally said I would. He told me not to worry, and that he would work with me if I needed to make any adjustments to the schedule. You can tell through the videos that both him and his wife have a genuine love of dogs. I’m very grateful to have found Oscar to watch my dog and I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you Oscar once again to you and your wife for everything!”

“Steven was great with our dog. We boarded her with him for a long weekend She is a nervous girl and often barks at new people. When I dropped her off he took her leash and her treats and immediately got her to sit and calm down. During her stay with Steven he sent us photos, which I appreciate. When I picked her up she was in good spirits and wagging her tail which is always a good sign. We will definitely be using Steven's services again.”

About: I have loved to care for cats for as long as I can remember! I am comfortable around all cats (even the spicy ones!) and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your fur baby. When I come to check in on, feed, and play with your cats I will dedicate my time to loving them. I respect the client’s space, follow all instructions related to feeding, walking, medication, etc. and keep the home clean and secure. “James was an excellent caregiver for my cat. He came over early to see the house and meet Finbar, sent nice updates and pictures. I would be happy to use his services again.”

About: While a large part of my hands-on daycare experience is focused on dogs, as a cat owner and lover myself, I understand that cats thrive on routine, subtle cues, and having their boundaries respected. I am fully confident and skilled in: - Administering oral or topical medications precisely as directed. - Maintaining precise feeding, hydration, and charting schedules (crucial for senior cats or those with chronic conditions). - Spotting the subtle, easily missed signs of feline stress, discomfort, or medical abnormalities. - Giving shy or independent cats the patient, gentle space they need to feel completely secure in their own home.

“Meg was amazing! She stepped in last minute, was responsive and reliable, and clearly cares about the dogs. She asked great questions, sent updates and videos during her visits, and gave me total peace of mind. I’ll definitely book her again.”

“Kristen provided fantastic care to our 2 cats. She followed all of our instructions and kept them well fed, changed litter, and played with them. She also was able to administer medicine to one of our cats who had a medical condition. She put our minds at ease and kept us updated every day we were on vacation with a summary and photos. I highly recommend her. She has great care skills, and great communication skills.”

About: I was born into a home with cats, therefore I have 47 years of experience being in their presence. For all of my adult life, I have had my own cats and have helped others take care of theirs by feeding, playing, scooping the litter and taking them out for walks on a kitty-leash. I have experience with ferrel, skittish, playful, needy and calm personalities. Presently my family and I have 2 tuxedo kitties whom we adopted 9 years ago. I love cats.

“Eli has been the perfect help for my pup Zeus! Extremely reliable on a routine repeating schedule, and always is communicative with me. Would absolutely recommend for any pup needs!”

“This was the first time that Kaitlin watched Jed over an extended period and it really could not have gone better. She was communicative throughout, and was very thoughtful about trying to find extra time to be with him while we were away. We came home to a cat who was obviously been well cared for and we will look forward to having Kaitlin come watch Jed again.”

About: Hello :) my name is Elena, I've had the privilege of owning two gorgeous Bombay cats since I was 10 years old. My soul kitty, Sofia, passed away last year, I live with her brother Simon and he is happy and healthy with hyperthyroidism. I have experience with shy cats, friendly cats, administering meds to cats, maintaining rigid feeding schedules, introducing cats to each other—all the care and keeping that comes with cats, I have done! I am also a very clean person: I really try to make sure the cats can have as neat and tidy a space us humans and believe it improves their quality of life! I have many close friends (whose cats are my nieces and nephews) who can vouch for me being a proper cat lady :) Please ask any questions you'd like and tell me about your cat!
“Felicia took the time to do a meet and greet and also took great care of our three crazy pups while we were out. Very communicative and sent lots of photos, we don’t let many people watch our dogs so was very thankful Felicia was so great with them, highly recommend!”

“Michelle was a fantastic sitter for our sweet kitty! She was very patient with us when we had some issues with the app during booking, and was quickly available to come over for a tour even though we were only a few days away from our trip. She was very communicative before, during, and after her visit and we came home to a very happy kitty! Thank you Michelle!”

“Avery did a fantastic job watching our sweet kitty while we were out of town! She sent us many pictures during her visits and it was clear that our kitty loved her, which put us totally at ease that he was taken care of while we were away. I could not recommend her enough, and will absolutely be rebooking her next time. Thank you Avery!!”

“I'm very thankful for Wanda because I was away overseas and my previous sitter had to cancel.. this was not a situation any pet parent should ever be put through and I was able to get ahold of Wanda who came to the rescue even without me being there to show her the procedure for taking care of my 2 cats. (Granted, I had a Youtube video giving an overview of the process and I gave her the codes to my lockbox and my home alarm which all went smoothly.)”

About: Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a drop-in visit while you're at work, or a comfortable place to stay while you're away, I'd love to help! I truly enjoy caring for dogs and treat every one as if they were my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, but I especially love working with senior dogs. I'm patient, understand that older dogs often need a slower pace, and I'm comfortable giving medications and following special care routines. During walks, I focus on your dog's individual needs, whether that's an energetic adventure or a slow, relaxed stroll. For drop-in visits, I'll make sure your dog gets fresh water, meals, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention. If your dog is boarding with me, they'll be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, exercise, and a safe, comfortable environment. There's nothing more rewarding to me than seeing a happy dog. My goal is always to give you peace of mind, knowing your dog is in caring, dependable hands while you're away.

We got updated during the work day, and it was clear he was happy and at ease in her care. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were at work. We couldn't ask for a better sitter — Coda can't wait to go back! Highly, highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver.”

Our house is empty now and I would love to care for your dog! I also have a year of experience volunteering at a dog shelter where I fed, walked, bathed, and helped socialize the dogs. I am a dog lover and would give your dog lots of love! I will be able to walk dogs anytime before 3pm all days except Saturday. I can also offer morning/afternoon day care anytime before 3pm. I will have plenty of time in the morning and afternoon to play with your fur baby! I have an unfenced yard out front, but can walk your dog leashed around the neighborhood and in the front yard! I live in a single family home with no other pets. I have dog toys, leashes, and dishes for food and water. I do not have a crate or pen, so this will need to be provided if needed for your dog. Preferably non shedding dogs for boarding.

“Kristen has been phenomenal with our dogs! I was initially nervous about having a dog walker, but Kristen has communicated constantly letting us know everything that happened each day. She sends very detailed updates with lots of cute pictures. She also has gone above and beyond cleaning up when our puppy has accidents and taking both of our dogs on long walks. I feel good knowing that she takes such good care of my babies while I’m away at work.”

I am available most weekends, all day. I cannot do during the week for the most part as I have a full-time job, but there is some flexibility with holidays and such. I will follow any instructions given to me to care for your pet in your home. I have a husky with high anxiety, so unfortunately cannot care for your babies in my own home.
“Elsa had a great walk with Gabriel, despite all the rain and mud! I appreciate his patience with Elsa, and was happy to show Gabriel how we do our walks! I believe Gabriel has a real appreciation and love for dogs which is what matters most!”

“Callie and Thor love walking with Mengyao!! Grandma says they get so excited when she walks in the door and they come back from their walks nice and tired!! I got great updates and pictures from the walks that we knew they were well taken care of!! I highly recommend Mengyao for your dog walking needs- she is amazing!!”

“Michelle is wonderful! My dog went suddenly blind a few months ago and has had a hard time adapting, especially on walks which make her nervous. I hired Michelle to walk Gracie twice a week to help her have gentle, positive practice to build her confidence back up. Michelle has been amazing with her. She is so patient with Gracie and in tune with her needs and emotional state. Within a few minutes of meeting her, Gracie was more comfortable walking with Michelle than she is with my husband. After two weeks, Gracie is already noticeably more comfortable on walks. We are so lucky we found Michelle!”

“I recommend Arianna for dog walking. She was prompt, considerate and accommodating for my doggie!! I am sure, I’ll work with Arianna again. Thank you Arianna!”

About: I have been around dogs all of my life. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, we had two dogs: an American Pit Bull Terrier and an APBT Staffie mix. They were the most athletic and lovey dogs! They completed a five mile hike that has a fairly long and vertical scramble section at 14 years old! In their senior years, they had medical issues so I am experienced with med management and adopting activities to their capabilities. Currently, my fiance and I have a half APBT, half Siberian Husky dog. He is the best! We adopted him from a family that kept him in his crate for so long that he bit off a large portion of the hair on his tail. He was reactive in the beginning, lunging at cars on the road and barking and lunging at dogs on walks. I used Spirit Dog Training’s reactivity course and my education in behavioral psychology and research to fix these issues. He no longer does either things and his hair has grown back in spades! We keep him busy by training him (tricks) and mentally stimulated with sniff walks and games like find it, as well as off leash time, hikes, runs, etc. We love hiking with Oto: he recently completed numerous hikes in Acadia National Park and has done Camel’s Hump in VT and Mt. Osceola in NH: he plans on completing the NH 48! In general, I love being outside and active: hiking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, running, kayaking, rock climbing and going to the gym. I love all dogs, but have a particular drive to keep working dogs happy and healthy! German Shepherds, Border Collies, Huskies, Cattle Dogs, Anatolian Shepherds: it is amazing what they can do and how they have served our communities in numerous roles for decades. I have spent a lot of time with my sister’s German Shepherd and half GSD half Anatolian dogs. I also volunteered at a therapeutic horseback riding center and rode horseback for several years; I find being around horses to be great training for how to interact with, and train, dogs. They are so big that they don’t HAVE to listen to you. Maintaining confidence (even if you don’t feel like it) and a steady hand go a long way, as well as keeping aware of their body language and behaviors. They are very sensitive creatures. In the Fall of 2026, I am resuming my graduate program in clinical social work and have indicated my availability in the details section. However, those times and days don't apply during winter and summer breaks (open availability then). Please share your dog's behaviors and needs with me before scheduling walks. If your dog is reactive (barks at dogs on walks or lunges) please let me know and I can adjust the walking route and make sure to give other dogs plenty of space. Let me know what their usual distance on walks is, as I can try to adjust my pace accordingly. I have a lot of experience with this (decades). If you have treats for your dog, I can take them out with me if needed.
“Oliver was great and handled my two weirdo dogs very well. I came home to happy pups and he communicated well. I would love to work with him again, thank you so much Oliver!”
About: Hi there! I’m Marilyn, a lifelong animal lover and proud dog mom to two pups of my own ♥️ Because my dogs struggle with separation anxiety, I understand how important it is to have someone patient, attentive, and trustworthy caring for your pet while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and I genuinely believe pets deserve love, attention, and care. Whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, extra cuddles, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence around, I’m happy to follow their routine and your preferences. I work from home most of the time, which gives me flexibility throughout the day and allows me to be responsive and reliable. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, and plenty of communication so you can have peace of mind while your pet is in my care. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away 🐾 I work from home 90% of the time and have lots of flexibility during the day. I can give advance notice on days I’m not physically available. I believe pets thrive when they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that’s familiar to them. When caring for pets in their home, I try to follow their established routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention! 😊 As a pet owner myself, I understand how important communication is, so I am happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind.
“My 2 dogs get so excited for walks with Eli! They come back happy and tired which means it was a very successful walk :) Eli does a great job handling both of them and they really enjoy their walks with him.”

“We have a Berner that is almost 3 years old and she has been staying with Kira and her family since she was a puppy. I can't give anything but the highest rating for Kira and her family. It is always hard leaving a beloved pet with someone else, but we never worry with Kira. Winnie has a great big back yard to play in with other dogs and the personal attention she receives to be part of the family is second to none. Daily updates with photos of how well our pup is doing puts our mind at ease while we are away. We always know that Winnie is being treated as part of the family and gets tons of attention and play time. Logistically, Kira is always flexible and amenable with drop offs and pick ups and their home and space for the dogs is set up wonderfully. Our dog has more room to roam and play than she does at her own home! We have been repeat customers with Kira multiple times over and will continue to plan to be for years to come!”

“Alan and Ying were great with my dog once again. They sent a bunch of videos of him playing and it was clear he had a great time. They were very accommodating with an early pick up time.”

“Kaelyn was great. She communicated through out about how Melanie was doing & really loved Melanie like she was one of her own pups. Will definitely use Kaelyn’s services again. Thank you for everything!”

“Greta is an amazing dog sitter! She provided lots of updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog looked incredibly happy and well cared for throughout the stay. She even gave my dog a bath, which was such a thoughtful offer. Juniper is also absolutely adorable, and it was wonderful that my dog had such a sweet companion to play with. I would highly recommend Greta to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter!”

“Allie is the best of the best. Our sweet Sandy ate a small starfish ornament the day before we dropped her off. I was scared to leave her but couldn’t have left her in better hands. Allie sent me photos and detailed updates, always promptly, multiple times a day. Thank you, Allie, for always taking such good care of our girl!”
