I will facilitate at least a 1 hour walk during the day, plus two other potty breaks. We will get lots of play during the day if I work from home and if not, at the end of the day. I am happy to prepare food puzzles or play tug or hang out on the couch.

Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only care for small to medium sized dogs that are friendly with young children, as I have a toddler at home. I don’t have a fenced yard, but all outdoor time is supervised and on leash (off leash can be done in safe places), with plenty of walks and park visits. I’ll follow your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. I only accept one dog at a time so each one gets the attention they deserve.

BOARDING: Most important preference I have is for breeds that are gentle with kids. My toddler may accidentally sit on their tail or touch their legs. If your dog is unpredictable or shows any signs of aggression (snapping, lunging, growling and showing teeth), then we aren’t the right fit. I also prefer non-shedding breeds.
A typical day
Whatever makes your doggy happy.. whether it’s throwing the ball 🎾, doing SNIFFari walks 🐽 🐕🌳, solving brain games 🧩, playing with water 💦, training their commands 👩🏼🏫 , or snuggling on the couch.

Pet care experience
Before you book with me, you should know why I’m a sitter on Rover! I’m a lifelong dog lover and former dog mom to a very energetic Goldendoodle who was the center of my world. My life revolved around long walks, games of fetch, park adventures, and plenty of snuggles, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog like family. I work from home 2–3 days a week, so your pup will have lots of company and won’t be left alone for long stretches. While I don’t have a yard, I believe dogs deserve more than just a quick walk around the block. Every stay includes at least one trip to a local park each day for fetch, exploring, or simply getting their energy out. I welcome small to medium-sized dogs that are friendly with young children, as I have a toddler at home. Whether your dog is full of energy or happiest curled up on the couch, they’ll get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles while they’re here. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I’ll treat them as if they were my own. 🐾 Size wise, I will accept dogs that are up to 50-55 lbs.
Reviews

Sonia is a compassionate dog lover and I feel grateful that she watched my beloved dog. Sonia is communicative and reliable. I received regular updates about Clementine. Sonia went above and beyond to assure Clementine enjoyed her time away from home. I am very grateful for the love and care provided by Sonia.
Sonia did a great job boarding my dog Whiskey. She was very attentive and took great care of him. She is a great communicator and had so much fun with my dog. They did long walks in the park and plenty of play time. My dog did not want to leave haha
Sonia took such great care of Nona while I was away! She was kind, reliable, and kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. Nona was happy and well cared for when I got back, and I could tell she had been in great hands. I'd definitely book with Sonia again and highly recommend her!
Sonia has walked my Yorkie and cared for him on several occasions, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She is dependable, always on time, and truly has a love for dogs. She is attentive to every detail, follows care instructions carefully, and treats my dog as if he were her own. My Yorkie is always happy and comfortable with her, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. Any pet owner would be lucky to have Sonia care for their furry family member!
