About: From the young age of 8 years old, after years of begging, I rescued my first Basenji-Beagle mix pup named Molly. As a family, we also welcomed Golden Doodles, Dachshunds, and Pomeranians into our home. Most recently, I rescued Louie, a Golden Retriever/GSP mix all the way from Turkey. I have always known that dogs have their own personalities and needs, and it takes patience and understanding to make them feel comfortable and to ensure their needs are met. Louie, who is 1.5 years old, as a rescue, is very nervous and shy, not knowing his complete history as a rescue in a foreign country, has taken time to earn my trust and I have seen how rewarding it is to see him come out of his shell, with the encouragement and patience as his owner. I look forward to meeting your dog and learning how to make them feel comfortable and loved! I work from home 5 days a week! I have a pretty regular schedule in taking my own dog out several times a day, with one longer outing around lunch time, whether it be a couple mile walk, or a trip to the dog park to let some energy out! I am happy to curate my schedule to your dogs individual needs. I will do everything I can to make your dog feel welcome and comfortable in my home! My own dog sleeps on the couch, or in one of several dog beds I have around the apartment. I will take the time and patience into making sure your dog finds the spot he/she feels at home in. We have plenty of toys and treats to share, as well!

Karissa enjoys taking dogs for walks, playing with dogs, and caring for them. Karissa would make a great addition to the Rover community and is a reliable person to work with animals!”

17. Ally R.
“Ally has been caring for my 21 year old cat for close to two years. She comes to my home twice a day to feed and replenish her water, all the while taking the extra time to seek out our often elusive aging cat and give her some much needed affection in our absence. She also demonstrated the same patience and attentiveness with our very playful dog. Both animals love to see her coming! Ally is consistently dependable, trustworthy and caring . We are extremely fortunate to have her with us and are pleased to have the opportunity to highly recommend Ally for any pet care.”

18. Haley F.
“Haley is very caring towards all pets and truly loves being with them. She is energetic and playful, she enjoys playing fetch in the yard with the dogs as well as bringing them on several walks and adventures. She is always working on training with them. Haley is trustworthy and responsible.”

About: I grew up with dogs, they're a part of my life through friends and family. Whether your dog is young and energetic, older and sedate, or takes medicine, I've got loads of experience with all and will take care of yours as I would mine. I work from home three days a week and the other two usually can get out of the office after 5-6 hours to finish at home. I have limited weekend travel planned for the summer. If your dog likes adventure we could have play dates with friends who have dogs. I bought my townhouse in April. Once I'm truly settled I'll,get a dog of my own that I hope will be friends with the dogs I meet through this site.

About: Hey, I'm in my mid-20's and my family currently owns two dogs. We moved to Massachusetts about a five ago. We have two standard poodles, Ivy who’s 7 and about 50lbs and I own Felix who’s about 3 and over 50lbs. I also have a horse, and our first dog was raised by the cats we had before got dogs. Thanks to growing up with animals, then working with horses as an apprentice in Colorado for two years I appreciate the need that dogs have to get outside and get some energy out, or at least some attention so they don't decide to entertain themselves in a different way other ways. I’ve also taken care of parrots and parakeets, rats, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. I housesat for neighbours and friends often, and occasionally their pets would be there too. I also babysat growing up and I'm still in touch with the families, watching their kids (& pets) grow up. I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! My house or yours, I completely understand the need to make sure your dog isn’t bored. I have a large fenced backyard, two friendly dogs who are crate-trained and an extra (large) crate, a plethora of chew proof toys, and a huge variety of treats.
