About: Hey, I'm 30 and my family currently owns two large dogs. We moved to Massachusetts about a five years ago. We have two standard poodles, Ivy who’s 7 and about 50lbs and I own Felix who’s about 3 and over 50lbs. I also have a horse, and our first dog was raised by the cats we had before got dogs. Thanks to growing up with animals, then working with horses as an apprentice in Colorado for two years I appreciate the need that dogs have to get outside and get some energy out, or at least some attention so they don't decide to entertain themselves in a different way other ways. I’ve also taken care of parrots and parakeets, rats, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. I housesat for neighbours and friends often, and occasionally their pets would be there too. I also babysat growing up and I'm still in touch with the families, watching their kids (& pets) grow up. I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! As a pet owner, I completely understand the need to make sure your pet isn’t bored. I like to try to leave my clients home cleaner than when I arrived, my mother taught me that when I started babysitting and it stuck. Would you like me to water your plants?

About: Hi! I’m a college student and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, small animals, and farm animals. I’ve had my Chiweenie for the past 8 years and trained her myself from puppyhood, including obedience and reliable recall. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, anxious or reactive dogs, giving medication, and caring for multiple pets at once. One of my biggest strengths is reading dog body language and adjusting my approach to each dog’s individual needs. I can be calm and gentle with nervous dogs while also providing structure and boundaries when needed. I offer walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, boarding, and daycare. For boarding, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog for everyone’s comfort and safety. I also have years of customer service experience, so you can count on clear communication, regular updates, and lots of photos. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pet and provide them with safe, reliable care. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate time each day to walks, feeding, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I live an active lifestyle and regularly go on long walks, hikes, and runs, so I am comfortable keeping up with high-energy dogs that need extra exercise. I work to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while in my care. My goal is to make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, activity, and individualized care. Safety is my top priority when caring for any pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so I can provide care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I have experience with puppies, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs, and I pay close attention to body language to help prevent stressful situations before they happen. In my home, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog if needed. Outdoor time is always supervised, and I use secure leashes and long lines when appropriate. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Jill was excellent, communicated well and took superb care of my easily excited dog as well as my cat. Loved receiving check-in photos during her drop-in visits. She was consistently on time with visits. Highly recommend!”

“Maegan is the absolute best! Professional and responsive, I can always trust her to take care of our two kitties. She provides detailed and thoughtful update every day along with plenty of photos which puts us at ease when we are away!”

About: I provide reliable, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I have experience with puppies (basic training, potty routines, and high-energy play) as well as senior pets who require patience, gentle handling, and medication support. I’m detail-oriented, great with routines, and always prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. I also keep owners updated with regular check-ins, photos, and messages so you always feel at ease while you’re away Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I’m very organized and consistent with my schedule. I’m able to plan my day around feeding times, walks, playtime, and check-ins to make sure each pet gets the attention they need. Whether it’s daily visits or weekly care, I prioritize reliability and make sure pets stay on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely and keep pets on their normal routine with feeding, playtime, walks (if needed), and cleaning. I make sure they feel comfortable and get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I also respect the home, keep things tidy, and provide regular updates so owners feel at ease.

I enjoy being around animals very much they bring me such joy. Everyone calls me the pet whisperer because every animal I meet just loves me and I love them. I’m always helping my friends and neighbors when they need there animals taken care of while they are away. About: Hi friends! I've been a dog lover my whole life and have experience with it all, from wobbly puppies to wise 14 year old seniors. Whether it's a walk around the block, a long romp at the park, or just some cuddle time on the couch, I'm happy to match whatever your dog loves most. I've had the pleasure of walking and watching all kinds of dogs overnight, including a Mastiff, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a Cattle Dog mix, and even a Cunucu (an Aruban street dog), so no size, energy level, or personality is too much for me. Small, big, shy, wild, high energy or low key, I've seen it all and love it all! Thanks so much for considering me! I can't wait to meet you and your pup! “Lauren was great checking in on our dog at our home. She made sure to take lots of pictures and leave a thorough update on how our dog was doing, and was even nice enough to bring our packages inside. We would definitely recommend working with Lauren”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for over 40 years now. Cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters, birds etc. Pets always warm up to me and I really enjoy my interacting with them. I have experience giving medication (both pills and liquid) in a kind, gentle way that works! I have the same concerns with my elderly pet so I understand. I am an early bird so I am available before work and also after work for visits. Morning visits availability from 5-7 am and evening from 5:30-8 pm. I truly love pets so it's enjoyable for me and I just like making a little extra spending money doing something I love! I'm at work 8:30-5 so as much as I would love to walk dogs during the week, it would have to be something that fit into my Mon-Fri work schedule. If I can see them 6am-7am before work and/or 5:30-? after work, I would be able to help dog moms/dads too! I comfort them, make sure they feel loved and cared for, not just fed. And I have the utmost respect for peoples homes and their privacy.

Boning took wonderful care of our 4 kitties, including 3 older kitties. All of our cats warmed up to her right away, which is rare for our shy crew. She handled med administration with ease and had excellent communication skills, letting us know exactly what had happened during each visit. We would be very happy to have her take care of our kitties again!

Kate did an amazing job of taking care of our 2 cats. She was easy to communicate with and sent us pictures and updates each day which was very reassuring. My cat George definitely has a crush on her 😊. We will absolutely use her again. We feel very fortunate to have found her. Now we can relax when we are away knowing that our cats are in very capable and caring hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
