“Michaela was fantastic with her drop in visits! She took such great care of our dog and sent very detailed updates! She followed all instructions and really had us feeling comfortable knowing he was in great hands! We are so happy and appreciative! :)”

“This is the second time using Boning’s services. I knew I could rest easy knowing she was taking great care of our boys. One of our cats needed oral meds once a day for an infection and Boning had no problem administering it! She’s very knowledgeable, courteous, and clean. 100% recommend!!”
“We have loved having Gail care for our pups and kitty! She has been so good with walking the active ones and snuggling the less active. They all love her! Will definitely use again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Cynthia was amazing! She sent so many pictures and videos when checking in on our kitties which made us so happy. She is super sweet, trustworthy, and has great communication! She took such good care of our babies. Would definitely recommend her & would use her services again in the future!”

“Elizabeth took great care of our cat Bernie for 3 days. We always worry about leaving him with a pet sitter because he can be shy and skittish and doesn't always warm up to people he doesn't know. Elizabeth has the magic touch because Bernie was always (and immediately!) happy to see her and even came out to play. When we got back, Bernie was happy, well-adjusted and his usual goofy self. Definitely recommend Elizabeth to anyone seeking a reliable, friendly and professional pet sitter!”

“Tessa is fantastic. She stepped in on very short notice and took such great care of Lexi. Lexi can be a bit dramatic 😼 but Tessa handled her with so much patience and kindness. Her communication was excellent, and we felt totally at ease while we were away. We’ve already booked her again and feel so lucky to have found her.”

“Maegan is the best, she watched our 2 cats while we were traveling internationally and sent us the most amazing pictures and videos and updates. She kept them engaged and active and was very communicative. We will definitely hire Maegan again when we travel.”

“Ani did a fantastic job of helping out with Finn while I was on vacation. She went above and beyond, vacuumed up litter and did everything possible to make sure Finn was taken care of. I would definitely recommend her to others!”
“Sarah was attentive to my cats needs and sent me photos everyday. I really appreciated the piece of mind she gave me knowing that my cat was well taken care of during my trip.”
“Tara is amazing. She’s dropped in twice now with my dog. We had all sorts of issues with the garage door opener and she figured it out so that I didn’t have to rush home to let her in. (Totally my issue). She is also great with the dog. Nice long walks and lots of pictures”

“Bert was so accommodating and communicative… as a new Rover user, he really put me at ease having someone in my home! My cat is nervous with strangers but he assured me she was eating and drinking and nothing abnormal in the litter box… did everything he could to ensure she was good and I felt comfortable.”

“Margaret is amazing! She was punctual, personable, had great communication and treated our dog like her own. She gave thorough updates and great photos! We trust her with our dog and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to come take your dog out. We will absolutely be using her in the future 😊”

About: I am a behavioral scientist work in a hybrid model (go to office once a week) that spend a lot time researching about healthy living for my own furry baby and others🫶 I pay great attention to my dog's nutrient so that I cook fresh/organic for him and take him to hiking and dog parks. I would make beef and chicken jerky, cheese and carrot biscuits as treats. I basically moved from an apartment to a house for the sake of my dog. He was a 7-week puppy weighted 3 lb when I met him and now he’s 9 years old and 22lb, happy and healthy and kissed everyday! Now we moved together to New England since I graduated from my PhD program. Dogs love me but I adore them more!! I welcome house sitting for your furry friend 🙌👍 I’m a behavioral scientist for preventive oncology (in human) and I work a hybrid job, which means my schedule is quite flexible and I’d like to give my own dog potty breaks every 3 hours during the day. These breaks are often well deserved mental relief for myself between meetings as well. Love to cuddle, giving our fur babies a lot of love. Now I live in a one-bedroom apartment so the capacity for boarding is limited, but I’d love to visit your pet at your place and if they like car ride, I could definitely offer walks in the woods upon prior discussion and an extra charge
“Emily did an excellent job of taking care of our beloved fur babies. She went over and above the call of duty, heading over to visit before the snowstorm and then trekking through thigh-deep snow before the snow removal folks did their job. She sent us updates and photos every day and adjusted their food based on what she noticed. We came home to happy kitties. Thank you, Emily.”

Cynthia is awesome! She was very accommodating and flexible with the plans for caring for our three cats. Her communication was excellent, and we enjoyed receiving her video and photo updates. She is very caring and kind, and was able to befriend our shy kitties! She gave us peace of mind while we were away, and I would not hesitate to book her again. I highly recommend!

Courtney is such a thoughtful and wonderful sitter! She checked on our cat and took care of him while we were gone for 3 weeks. She was thorough and went above and beyond to make sure he was well cared for and kept us posted so we could have a nice vacation knowing he was in good hands. Thank you Courtney!

Tessa was so sweet and communicative. This was my first time using Rover, and the process was very simple and user friendly. She cared for my brand new kittens for a few days, visiting morning and evening, making sure they hadn’t gotten in to too much trouble! 😼😼 I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for help!

Ella took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away. Ella was reliable, attentive, and clearly loves animals, our cats were happy, relaxed, and well fed the whole time. Ella sent updates and photos and a video, which put our minds at ease. Highly recommend Ella for anyone needing a trustworthy, caring cat sitter!
Ani was amazing with our elderly cat Karina. I didn't need to worry at all during our trip because Karina warmed up to her immediately which she rarely does with unfamiliar people. Ani was extremely conscientious and thorough in her care and made sure that our elderly girl was relaxed and content with massages and plenty of love and attention. Thank you so much, Ani.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Norwood. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
