Want to know why I’m a star sitter? When your fur baby is on a walk or overnight with me I give them the best day of their life! One of my favorite clients calls me the Mary Poppins of pets because I give outstanding service so that the pets are safe and relaxed while you are away. I love to hike and can take your friend to one of the surrounding trails, to the park or even for a swim at Newton pond (on a long lead of course with doggie floatation devices if you prefer). I am a certified level-three dog walker from the MSPCA with over 36 hours of training (the highest). I volunteered there as a dog walker for three years and I am trained to safely handle pit bulls and other big dogs with ease. I also have owned cats and dogs for 25 years and have experience with giving medicine, insulin shots and hydration via IV to dogs and cats. I have also cared for guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, ferrets, birds, rabbits, turtles, geckos and bearded dragons. (I do not care for snakes as I have no experience). I love your babies like I love my own and give only positive reinforcement for training. I allow your sweeties to sit on my bed and furniture, but if that is a no no in your home, I will reinforce the training you would prefer while your buddies are with me. I never crate any animals or use choke collars and provide long stimulating leashed walks or hikes in local parks or off lead (with your permission) in in a fenced dog park. I can also train your dog while they are with me to sit and stay so they become wonderful pets. I have lots of experience caring for special needs and elderly animals and can give oral medicine or insulin shots. When I stay with your pet I provide these services with every client: At least 2 meals a day At least 2 30-minute walks a day using map my walk so you can verify via gps where your dog is exercising. Entertainment through 30 minutes of play and puzzle games with treats to keep your pets relaxed and happy. Pupsicles (kong toy with treats and peanut or almond butter that is frozen). It keeps dogs engaged for longer periods of time. Brushing, massage, and Reiki Photo updates with drinking and elimination schedule to verify pets health. Snuggling and Stimulating conversation I am a great chef and can make homemade healthy food or treats for your pup while you are away. My specialty is ground turkey with spinach, sweet potato. I also make dehydrated sweet potato treats and other healthy snacks that fill your pets with vitamins and nutrients for healthy coats and digestion. Collect mail, water plants and maintain home safety protocols while you are away. I also offer pet photography services and can have your photos put on canvas or framed for an additional charge. Finally, I want you to know that every Rover Sitter is background checked, and that I I respect your home and your privacy and will only go into the rooms that you designate for me to be in. I don’t drink on the job and I am not a smoker. I am fully vaccinated as of April 30, 2021 and can wear masks while I am in your home if you prefer.
