“Debbie went above and beyond for us. She spent plenty of time acclimating our 4 mo puppy to her home and dogs for his first daycare session. We received pics and updates during his stay. Our dog had a great supervised socialization session with Debbie and other dogs, and had a chance to gain confidence in staying with others. Will definitely use her as a sitter again!”

“Laurel was wonderful with my dog during doggy day care. She was so accommodating and flexible with scheduling, which made things really easy. My dog was well cared for and came home happy and tired each day. I’d definitely recommend Laurel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!”

About: I have experience with most small and medium breeds of dogs, from Italian Greyhounds (my own!) and other sighthounds to Beagles, Dachshunds, Maltese, Corgis, Shiba Inu, Border Collies, Chihuahuas, terriers, spaniels, and other wonderful dogs who don't fall into a single breed. I have cared for my family's Italian Greyhounds for 30 years, having IGs of my own for nearly 20 years, and in 2016 nursing my dog back to health when he was using a feeding tube and multiple medications after surgery. He recovered healthier than ever at 9 years old and defied the odds to become free of all meds and treatments, living to nearly 17! Currently, I have two Italian Greyhounds, Pippi and Sophie, who are happy to hang out with new furry friends, and who seem to enjoy Rover visitors as much as I do :). I'm happy to walk your dog in the neighborhood area, or let them play in my fenced yard. I am able to assist with senior dogs and am able to administer oral medications. When your dogs come over to visit, they will be loved and cuddled, have access to toys, and have the option to play with two highly socialized iggies (Italian Greyhounds). I work from home as an independent art curator, so this gives me the ability to be quite flexible in scheduling and in adapting to provide the best care for your dog. Your dog(s) will get lots of cuddles and scratches/massage (whatever they like!), as there are always dogs surrounding me whenever I am sitting. Outside time can be leash walking around the neighborhood or playing in the fenced yard, or leash walking in the unfenced portion of the yard. We can also go to a dog park if that’s their jam. Treat time (treats approved by you, their person) usually happens after going potty or as a treat between meals. For sleeping, I’ll try to replicate what they are used to at home, whether that is sleeping in their own bed on the floor, sleeping in human bed with their people, or sleeping in a bed in a crate (I have extra crates and beds). Upon arrival, they will be introduced to my well-adjusted Italian Greyhounds individually so as to make sure everyone is comfortable.
“My dog Persephone had an amazing time! Natalie made sure to take great care of her as she has allergies. Her rover card even had her bathroom, water, and feeding times added as well as many pictures! Definitely rebooking with Natalie again next time!”

“Lyndsey and Evan were amazing! We got multiple photo update throughout the day. They even took Oscar for a 3 mile walk, and their dog Rosie kept him entertained all day long.”

About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember and have has pets of my own as early as 5 years old. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, and any activity level. I just had to put my 12 year old pup, Penny, down who I have has since 8 weeks old. There is a huge hole in my life and I would love to help out with your pets in any way possible. I truly love animals so much and love to care for them. I work full time, from home and love to get out for walks during the day. I tend to have pockets of free time during the day where I can help with whatever your pet needs that day. I have an unfenced back yard and I live in a very walkable area. I love to give the pet all the love and attention they need!
“Sean took care of our 2 year Yorkie, Luca, for the day We wanted to get them acquainted before an upcoming weekend stay. Luca settled right in with Sean. He provided Luca good care, is responsible and accommodated our requests. Overall very satisfied and feel much better about Luca’s upcoming weekend/overnight stay.”

About: I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu, her name is Zola. She loves people and other animals. I am currently home more then expected and would love to help other working people with their pets. If your pet needs a certain food or specific routine, let me know and I am happy to help maintain the normal. When I first got my dog, it was so hard to leave her during the day when I went to work. She was so small, and I didn't want her to be lonely. I understand how hard it is to leave a fur child and want to help others be comfortable knowing they are being looked after during the day or overnight. I will love them like my own. I am currently working from home and have ability to 'schedule' accordingly to cover dog needs - walking or playing and to schedule time as needed to walk near by dogs as well. I do not have a fenced yard. I walk with a leash. I can 'fence' in a small area for free time in the yard. I also can let dogs out on the deck and use 'gates' to block stairs. I care for all pets the same as I do my own. I work remote and have a flexible schedule allowing me to play with and walk your pups at various times. And a lot of time for snuggles and petting I have a good size deck with fenced entrances for general relaxation outside. My yard is not fully fenced but a good size for small dog play
“Tessa is a great host. She's very communicative and caring during our dog's stay with her. She had an energetic pup that our dog loves as well. Great home and had a nice backyard for the pups to run around in. Her husband also seems sweet towards the dogs. She was easy to coordinate with, even when I was running late for drop off. Highly recommend!”

“Brian was great with Kya! We had a family event and needed a dog sitter nearby to watch Kya for a few hours. Brian was very accommodating, quick to respond and paid great attention to Kya.”

About: If you are looking for someone to love and spoil your fur baby while you are away, Bear and I would love to welcome them to our home! Your pooch will get all the adoration you want them to have, in a safe environment where they can feel like they are on vacation, too. Our time together can be active, including adventure walks in the woods, fenced-in off-leash time in a safe and secure area at my apartment/home, and also snuggle time when they need some extra TLC. My 7-year-old 10 10-pound neutered male Chorkie is calm and welcoming, having been socialized from the time he came to me. We have consistent meal times and frequent opportunities to get outside. We are a quiet, calm respite in a kid-free, smoke-free, dog-centric home. It will be like Mardi-Gras for your dog, but everyone is safe and has no regrets in the morning! :) I work full time from home. While I prefer stays that are primarily on weekends, can accommodate a Monday or Friday too. Weekends are dog friendly with lots of walks and down time in between. My dog has been my primary focus for 7 years, and yours will be treated to the same kind of care, routine, fun and snuggles as my lil Bear gets! I live in an apartment with easy access to leashed walks and an on-site dog park for off-leash fun, but we frequently hop in the car for a 5-minute ride to one of various parks where we have adventures, if your doggo is ok with car rides. My weekends are low-key and if your pet is here, they would include minimal time for me out of the home so Bear and I can be available to focus on our guest. Meals, walks and frequent trips outside are a regular part of our consistent routine. Unless you object, your pal is as welcome on furniture, under blankies, and anywhere Bear goes … which is everywhere.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember—so much that I even dreamed of becoming a veterinarian as a child! I’ve grown up around dogs and have cared for my family’s sweet senior pup, who’s now almost 16 years old. Through that experience, I’ve learned the importance of gentle handling, patience, and consistency, especially with older pets who need extra love and attention. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and take pride in treating every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs playtime, a long walk, or just some calm company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Fun fact about be is that my family dog, Tessie, was named after the Red Sox mascot and Dropkick Murphy's song. She is almost 16 years old and has completely inspired my love and patience for caring for senior dogs—she’s proof that quality care goes a long way, age is just a number, and that every dog deserves extra snuggles and attention! I’m currently in an accelerated nursing program at Northeastern University, where my coursework is online and remote. That flexibility gives me plenty of time to focus on pet care and spend quality time with the animals I watch. I’m available for all of your four-legged family members’ needs. From boarding, house sitting, walks or drop-in visits on weekdays or weekends. Spending time with animals is the highlight of my week. It’s such a rewarding break from remote school work and brings me a lot of joy. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I follow all care instructions carefully, keep environments clean and calm, and make sure pets have access to fresh water, outdoor breaks, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll maintain their normal routine to minimize stress and ensure they feel secure. If your dog is staying with me, they’ll have a quiet, cozy space, daily walks, and lots of love and attention. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously every time.
“Buddy has had the wonderful opportunity of spending the day with Alysha and Waylon twice now! With regular videos, photographs, and updates, it is clear Buddy is well cared for and has had a great time! Waylon is a great companion for dogs like Buddy who need some space and time to warm up to other dogs. Waylon is friendly and patient with our pup's quirks! It is obvious Alysha takes great care of the dogs in her charge and provides one on one attention. Thank you! Can't wait to return.”
