Your dog(s) will get lots of cuddles and scratches/massage (whatever they like!), as there are always dogs surrounding me whenever I am sitting. Outside time can be leash walking around the neighborhood or playing in the fenced yard, or leash walking in the unfenced portion of the yard. We can also go to a dog park if that’s their jam. Treat time (treats approved by you, their person) usually happens after going potty or as a treat between meals. For sleeping, I’ll try to replicate what they are used to at home, whether that is sleeping in their own bed on the floor, sleeping in human bed with their people, or sleeping in a bed in a crate (I have extra crates and beds). Upon arrival, they will be introduced to my well-adjusted Italian Greyhounds individually so as to make sure everyone is comfortable.

We can go on walks around Westwood and play in my fully fenced yard, if staying with me. Outside, we'll play! Inside, we'll play and snuggle. There's access to plenty of dog toys and treats in my cozy home. I keep Milkbones on hand, sometimes Whimzees chewies, and often freeze-dried beef heart treats. I’m happy to accommodate diets such as grain-free, raw, organic, or other needs.

I have experience with most small and medium breeds of dogs, from Italian Greyhounds (my own!) and other sighthounds to Beagles, Dachshunds, Maltese, Corgis, Shiba Inu, Border Collies, Chihuahuas, terriers, spaniels, and other wonderful dogs who don't fall into a single breed. I have cared for my family's Italian Greyhounds for 30 years, having IGs of my own for nearly 20 years, and in 2016 nursing my dog back to health when he was using a feeding tube and multiple medications after surgery. He recovered healthier than ever at 9 years old and defied the odds to become free of all meds and treatments, living to nearly 17! Currently, I have two Italian Greyhounds, Pippi and Silky, who are happy to hang out with new furry friends, and who seem to enjoy Rover visitors as much as I do :). I'm happy to walk your dog in the neighborhood area, or let them play in my fenced yard. I am able to assist with senior dogs and am able to administer oral medications. When your dogs come over to visit, they will be loved and cuddled, have access to toys, and have the option to play with two highly socialized iggies (Italian Greyhounds).

Chip had a great weekend at Whitney's! He came home happy and healthy and clean! Whitney was responsive when I checked in, and even sent photos of Chip. Would highly recommend!
From the moment Whitney met my little four-legged girl, she recognized her anxiety and showed incredible patience, taking the time to help her feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. As a nervous pet parent, that meant everything to me. Within a short time after drop off, I received updated photos of my little fur baby looking happy, relaxed, and all smiles! Whitney and her husband gave me complete peace of mind, allowing me to truly relax and enjoy my weekend event without worrying. I couldn't have asked for a better first boarding experience. I will definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, compassionate, and trustworthy pet sitters!
Whitney was very attentive to detail and took all of my dog's care instructions seriously. Also very friendly and responsive to communications. Would definitely book day care with her again.
Whitney and her husband, David, were wonderful. They really went out of their way to make Cookie feel comfortable. I am thrilled to have found them.
