“The Whitney family welcomed Koyuki with open hearts and treated her like a member of their own family. They took wonderful care of her and kept us constantly updated on how she was doing, which allowed us to enjoy our trip with complete peace of mind. We would absolutely love to ask the Whitney family to take care of Koyuki again in the future.Thank you so much!!”

“Jess and her family were great! Our 11 pound Cavapoo (Molly) stayed with Jess for 7 nights while our family went on our first vacation without our beloved pup. I knew Molly was well cared for and happy (perhaps a bit too happy given her ambivalence to seeing me when I picked her up 🙂). I felt very comfortable leaving Molly with Jess and would certainly do so again. Jess was very responsive and sent me regular updates and pictures. I think Molly particularly enjoyed the freedom Jess allows the dogs in the house. For example, I sent Molly with her crate that she happily sleeps in at our home, but with Jess Molly just slept on the couch with the other dogs. Spoiled for sure!”

“We had a great experience with Sean! It was our first time using rover and he was awesome to work with. He was super responsive and gave us daily updates and pics of our pup which we loved. Would use him again!”

“Will definitely rebook with Stephen and Cecilia. My pup was well taken care of and they were great with communication, photos, and updates. Thanks so much you guys!”
“Alyson was amazing! She sent lots of pictures and updates while watching my cat and it was clear he was having a great time. She asked questions and was super responsive - would definitely recommend booking with her and I will book again!”

“Sarah and her family went above and beyond durin our senior dog’s recent stay. From daily walks and snuggles to administering medication and a special diet, Sarah made us feel comfortable leaving our pup. We so appreciated the daily videos and pictures and the opportunity to meet with Sarah beforehand. And it was no problem when she had to refill one of our dogs medications. Truly heroic! Thank you, thank you, for everything! Buddy loved his stay with you!”

“Our dog is a big 80lb mutt who can be a lot to handle - Debbie did a great job watching him and he had a great time! Lots of hikes in the woods, daily updates, and he is so comfortable staying there! Will definitely book again!”

“Boning was great with Maple - gave great updates on what they were up to, how she walked and ate, etc. Maple was spoiled by cuddles and a great fenced in yard. We would be happy to book with her again!”

“We have used many sitters for our dog, and Casey was at the top! She took excellent care of our boy while on vacation. Thank you Casey! We definitely recommend her and will dial her in the future.”
“I cannot say enough good things about Cheryl. I would trust her with any pet of mine. She is very communicative and was wonderful with Robi. I would definitely book her again and recommend her to others.”

“She was great she took my dog on short notice and made her feel so comfortable. Ziva had other dogs to hangout with and enjoyed her stay. I would recommend using her!”

“Julie was great! It is clear that she cares so much about animals. She was easy to coordinate with and receptive to all of the things we told her about our dog. Easton had a blast running around the yard with her dog and he came home exhausted. Absolutely will use Julie again!”

“Jill is highly professional and very good with my Moomba girl. I hate hate hate leaving her, but I felt at ease all week. Jill consistently shows up on time, spends the full time, and sends great updates. Thank you!”

About: I grew up with cats, although I only have dogs now. My parents had cats when I was I still remember going to the shelter and picking out “my” cat. She was a very big boned, black, long haired girl who loved attention and put up with my brothers and me. Zoey once got in a fight that ended with her becoming a solely indoor cat after the trip to the vet. I learned how to give her her antibiotics and found ways to get her to take her medication. I promised my parents that I would take care of emptying the litter box, and surprisingly I did. Cat litter has come a long way since then.

“Kate was amazing with our two cats! She was responsive, had good communication, and sent great pics and updates! I would definitely recommend Kate for your pet care needs and I’ll certainly be reaching out again next time we need a sitter!”

“Linda made it so that I could travel with ease knowing someone was looking after my boy. My old fluffy guy has a heart condition and needed medication 2x daily and Linda was able accommodate. She understood the needs of having an elderly cat and really put me at ease. Thanks Linda!”
“Chantay was professional, prompt and super responsive. She went above and beyond to help make sure our cat received his medications. Our cat is a super hider but she always was able to give him care. Would 100% recommend her to any pet owner!”
“This was my first time using rover and Boning made me feel so comfortable with the entire process. She came over to meet me and my cats before hand and even went out of her way to pick up the keys from me before we left. Boning was extremely responsive and always showed up when she said she was going to. Took excellent care of both of my cats and always sent a variety of photos everyday. I would highly recommend her and will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Rachel took great care of our two cats while we were away for a few days. She was always on time and kept us updated about our cats well being. I would recommend Rachel as a reliable, responsible pet sitter!”

About: Although I primarily work with dogs, I have experience caring for cats and understand the importance of patience, routine, and respecting boundaries. I am comfortable providing daily care, companionship, playtime, and maintaining your cat’s normal routine while you’re away.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life. I am always the one that everyone calls, friends and neighbors when they have to go away and need someone to take care of their little furry friend. I love how independent they are but also love to cuddle.

“Cynthia was amazing! She sent so many pictures and videos when checking in on our kitties which made us so happy. She is super sweet, trustworthy, and has great communication! She took such good care of our babies. Would definitely recommend her & would use her services again in the future!”

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats. Now I live in a small townhome with not enough space for a dog. I need some dog-walks to keep life exciting. For morning services, the earlier the better. For evenings, after 4 is best. 8am to 4pm availability on weekdays varies by day so it’s ok to reach out if you want to ask about a specific time. In addition to dog walks, I’m happy to do drop-in visits for any pet, including fish, who needs it or any plant that needs watering, mail brought inside, lights on and off, and so on, even if your car needs starting every few days during an extended out-of-town, or taps turned on and off when temps are that low. Making sure all pets have water available for them, whether they’re inside or outside, is part of every service. Snacks during the walk if requested and any medications that need administering at the time of the walk. Further clarification about pricing* *Meals, brushing, playtime fall under drop-in visit (for example, if both walk and feeding are requested, you will need to select walk and also select drop-in visit). *Cat care (or other inside pet) drop-in visit includes, food (including special diets), water, playtime, litter box scooping, and refill when needed, any medications needed, and brushing if requested. Free pet hugs available as needed during all visits! I love birds, big ones and small ones, I have extended experience with small parrots, not much with large but would love to learn! I’m happy to feed the fish and, if you have one, run the magnetic algae cleaner over the glass, but no other tank cleaning (gravel, plants, filters), and no timer or temperature adjustments, but I will let you know if something is concerning. *A half hour drop-in charge will be added for the clean up of any accidents that occur prior to my arriving. I will not leave a pet in an unsanitary condition - for example, a puppy in a training kennel will not be returned to the kennel if an accident needs to be cleaned up. I can *put the dog in another area (no additional charge) or *clean the kennel (additional charge will be added, but I will contact you first) and return the pet to the kennel before I leave. *I will contact you first about what you’d like me to do. I’m former military, familiar with work ups, deployments, TDYs, TADs, PCSes, etc. While single and then with a family, including pets. *Pricing is per pet (if 2 dogs are to be walked, you will need to select a walk service for 2 dogs) My cats are not allowed on kitchen counters. Some people aren’t bothered by it. Although they haven’t needed it in quite a while, my cats are also water-bottle trained. Some people are bothered by it or have other methods. You’ll have to let me know what you prefer. I don’t want to cause a pet any stress or confusion by shoo-ing him or her off of, or away from, somewhere they are allowed to be. Recently I bought microchip activated pet-feeders. They adapted quickly. It’s taking a bit longer for the food-gulper to relax his eating, but he’s definitely getting there.

About: A lifelong cat lover and fellow Rover user, I know how important it is to find good, reliable care when leaving your cats at home! I know how much easier it makes a trip when you have someone who takes the time to love on your pets and look after them, and I care for each pet with care and patience the way I would love for my own two cats. I’m comfortable providing medications and injections and am honored to follow any special needs instructions.
“Debbie is the best dog sitter on Rover! Our pup loves her visits, whether it’s a walk, doggy day care or overnight. She goes above and beyond to make sure he gets exercise, playtime and lots of pets. I highly recommend her!”

“Layal took fantastic care of our 2 cats plus their cousin cat (3 cats in total) for a whole weekend while we were away for a wedding. She is responsive, knew how to handle 3 cats with different diet needs and temperaments with care and ease, shared lots of updates about how they were doing, and left everything in great order around the house. We look forward to rebooking her for future cat sitting!”

About: As a vet tech student in my final year, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs in both school labs and kennel settings. I’m comfortable with nail trims, baths, medical grooming, medication administration, and caring for pets with ongoing medical needs. I’m trained in basic first aid and pay close attention to animal behavior, so I can understand how pets are feeling and respond in a calm, safe way. Starting in the fall I will only have class on Mondays, which means I will be free to care for your pet the rest of the week. I enjoy active dog walks in most weather (within safe limits) and tailor each walk to the dog’s needs. I have a car for reliable travel and plan to use a secure seatbelt attachment for safety. Drop-ins include feeding, water, clean-up, medication administration, nail trims, and making sure pets are comfortable and cared for.

About: I have cared for all sizes and breeds of dog (ranging from 3lb to 115lbs) and I have experience caring for senior dogs and puppies! I’ve become very comfortable reading dogs’ body language and understanding their individual needs and personalities. I treat every dog as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I have plenty of time for dog sitting/visits in your home, dog walking, or boarding at my home or your home (if not too far!) I have a nice big back yard for your dog/dogs to roam. “Kayla took great care of Ruby while dog sitting. She provided plenty of updates and my pup had fun day with Kayla and her family. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kayla again for sitting!”

“Debbie is absolutely amazing! We booked with her on short notice for doggy daycare, and we are so grateful to have found her. She has a wonderful fenced outdoor area for the dogs to play in, and an equally pet-friendly home. Debbie followed my dog's feeding and medication schedule perfectly, and she was very flexible and understanding when we needed to shift our pick up and drop off times on the second day. She also sent pictures and updates and was awesome with communication during the stay so that we were able to rest assured our dog was doing well. Don't hesitate for a minute to book with Debbie - you will not be disappointed! :)”

About: I am a former cat and dog owner with years of experience caring for pets. I live alone and work from home so I am able to care for your fur babies 24/7! I work from home so I have plenty of time to care for your babies. I have a big yard to walk and play with your babies. I live alone and work from home so I can provide 24 hr care for your fur babies. I will take care of your fur babies as if they are my own.
About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, and they have always been one of my major passions. From small animals, to dogs and cats, to chickens, livestock, and horses - I've seen it all! I spent some time as a animal science/pre-vet student before Covid, and worked for a horse breeder/trainer for 3 years where I coordinated daily care for our animals, as well as helped client's with training and lessons while taking a break from university. I have since graduated and been immersed in the world of financial services for the last few years, and work from home along with my father. We both enjoy walking, and live right on the Blue Hills Skyline trail, so can go for a quick loop or 9 mile hike out of our back door. We also have a gated portion of the yard off of the patio, as well as a large front grass field that are all welcome to be taken advantage of by our four-legged friends. We lost our family dog about 2 years ago and enjoy having a furry friend in the house, but are not ready for the heartbreak that eventually comes along with bringing another dog into our family. We would love to host your dog as a part of our family to enjoy our attention, care, and access to great outdoor amenities for a dog that likes to explore, sniff, or go on hikes. Also great for a dog that enjoys having a fenced area. I work from home every day of the week, so I don't have any requirements to be out of the house. I tend to wake up on the earlier side and enjoy going for a walk, as well as a walk around lunchtime and the evening. I am consistent with whatever routine your dog requires, and like to cater towards what makes them the happiest and most at home. Your dog will have nearly 24/7 attention, and I am very glad to provide! We have a number of options in our home depending on your comfortability with your dogs access to the home/garden. We have a fenced area off of the side of the house with an attached mudroom (if dogs prefer to sleep alone, this can be a good option), as well as a large front field and access to the Blue Hills hiking trails. The kitchen is gated, so we tend to spend time in this space with the dog to keep an eye on them. We have a large crate available and are happy to set up your dogs crate if needed. We are happy to allows the dogs on the living room couch, but can keep them off if you prefer them to keep their feet on the floor - we have a large variety of dog beds as well throughout the house. The dogs are welcome in the bed/bedroom depending on your preferences, just let me know where you would like them to stay. There are currently no animals in the home.

“Sean took care of our 2 year Yorkie, Luca, for the day We wanted to get them acquainted before an upcoming weekend stay. Luca settled right in with Sean. He provided Luca good care, is responsible and accommodated our requests. Overall very satisfied and feel much better about Luca’s upcoming weekend/overnight stay.”

“Kayla was super kind and flexible with us ! We let him one afternoon and he was really nice after ! She send us photos of him ! Thanks again for your time ❤️ 🇫🇷”

“Jess is absolutely great . She was able to accommodate to our last-minute request for daycare for our dog Bruno and was very understanding of our dog’s needs. She kept sending pictures and updates which gave us piece of mind during these times when our dog needs to be monitored. We’re looking forward for Bruno’s next boarding stay with Jess.”

About: I have a 9 year old Shih Tzu, her name is Zola. She loves people and other animals. I am currently home more then expected and would love to help other working people with their pets. If your pet needs a certain food or specific routine, let me know and I am happy to help maintain the normal. When I first got my dog, it was so hard to leave her during the day when I went to work. She was so small, and I didn't want her to be lonely. I understand how hard it is to leave a fur child and want to help others be comfortable knowing they are being looked after during the day or overnight. I will love them like my own. I am currently working from home and have ability to 'schedule' accordingly to cover dog needs - walking or playing and to schedule time as needed to walk near by dogs as well. I do not have a fenced yard. I walk with a leash. I can 'fence' in a small area for free time in the yard. I also can let dogs out on the deck and use 'gates' to block stairs. I care for all pets the same as I do my own. I work remote and have a flexible schedule allowing me to play with and walk your pups at various times. And a lot of time for snuggles and petting I have a good size deck with fenced entrances for general relaxation outside. My yard is not fully fenced but a good size for small dog play

About: Hi! I’m a college student and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, small animals, and farm animals. I’ve had my Chiweenie for the past 8 years and trained her myself from puppyhood, including obedience and reliable recall. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, anxious or reactive dogs, giving medication, and caring for multiple pets at once. One of my biggest strengths is reading dog body language and adjusting my approach to each dog’s individual needs. I can be calm and gentle with nervous dogs while also providing structure and boundaries when needed. I offer walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, boarding, and daycare. For boarding, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog for everyone’s comfort and safety. I also have years of customer service experience, so you can count on clear communication, regular updates, and lots of photos. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pet and provide them with safe, reliable care. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate time each day to walks, feeding, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I live an active lifestyle and regularly go on long walks, hikes, and runs, so I am comfortable keeping up with high-energy dogs that need extra exercise. I work to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while in my care. My goal is to make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, activity, and individualized care. Safety is my top priority when caring for any pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so I can provide care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I have experience with puppies, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs, and I pay close attention to body language to help prevent stressful situations before they happen. In my home, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog if needed. Outdoor time is always supervised, and I use secure leashes and long lines when appropriate. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Seine has been helping me out everyday while my ankle has been injured! She local, very fairly priced, on time, and provides updates and pics :) thanks Seine - highly recommend your services”

“Nicole is terrific, even with the most moody and eccentric dog on the planet. One day he walks fine, another he won't budge-she knew how to roll with whatever mood my dog was in to make sure his needs were met.”

About: Hey, I'm 30 and my family currently owns two large dogs. We moved to Massachusetts about a five years ago. We have two standard poodles, Ivy who’s 7 and about 50lbs and I own Felix who’s about 3 and over 50lbs. I also have a horse, and our first dog was raised by the cats we had before got dogs. Thanks to growing up with animals, then working with horses as an apprentice in Colorado for two years I appreciate the need that dogs have to get outside and get some energy out, or at least some attention so they don't decide to entertain themselves in a different way other ways. I’ve also taken care of parrots and parakeets, rats, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. I housesat for neighbours and friends often, and occasionally their pets would be there too. I also babysat growing up and I'm still in touch with the families, watching their kids (& pets) grow up. I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! As a pet owner, I completely understand the need to make sure your pet isn’t bored. I like to try to leave my clients home cleaner than when I arrived, my mother taught me that when I started babysitting and it stuck. Would you like me to water your plants?
About: I have 2 cats and did cats rescue before:) Cat sitted for friends and I did it so well they said that I should start taking orders online so I decided I should try! Let me know what you need for your visit and I’ll do my best! I am working full time now but I have Saturday and Sunday off! And also I can stop by after work hour during the week for someone that needs the weekdays evenings! Chat with me to see if our schedule matches ☺️ I always keep my cats really clean:) If you need someone that can cut nails for your cat or wipe their butt I am really good at that

“Sammie is amazing. Shes like a dog whisperer with my goldendoodle who is afraid of strangers. Sammie is super responsible and has a kind energy that I'm sure every dog picks up on.”

About: I got my first dog at the age of 12 and took care of him for 10 years until he moved with my parents. I held the responsibility of cleaning, walking and feeding him on a regular basis. I am currently a proud cat mom of 2! I work hybrid and love to take a few walks daily so would love to have a furry friend join me sometime. Trying to get in my 10k steps so long walks are my specialty! I am more than willing to accommodate for each dog's specific needs as they come. Know our babies are special and all require their own instructions so willing to do what necessary.
