I am home the majority of the time, so I will be able to provide your dog with all the love and attention (or space) they need. I live in a house with a fenced in yard and a doggie door, which makes for easy access for dogs to come and go as they please - and bask in the sun on my patio. About: I’ve taken care of pets for over 40 years now. Cats,dogs, lizards, hamsters, birds etc. Pets always warm up to me and I really enjoy my interacting with them. I have experience giving medication (both pills and liquid) in a kind, gentle way that works! I have the same concerns with my elderly pet so I understand. I am an early bird so I am available before work and also after work for visits. Morning visits availability from 5-7 am and evening from 5:30-8 pm. I truly love pets so it's enjoyable for me and I just like making a little extra spending money doing something I love! I'm at work 8:30-5 so as much as I would love to walk dogs during the week, it would have to be something that fit into my Mon-Fri work schedule. If I can see them 6am-7am before work and/or 5:30-? after work, I would be able to help dog moms/dads too! I comfort them, make sure they feel loved and cared for, not just fed. And I have the utmost respect for peoples homes and their privacy.

About: Growing up in a household full of pets, I have had a lot of experience caring for animals. Throughout my life, I've cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, horses, and chickens. As an adult, it has been a wonderful experience adopting my very own cat, as well as being able to care for the pets of my friends and family. As a teacher, I am available after school hours, Monday-Friday, after 3 pm. I am also available on Saturdays from 12 pm to 7 pm. My hours will change during the summer, with more availability. I adopted my cat, Lacey, six years ago, and she has truly become my best friend. She is very well cared for and sees her veterinarian annually. As an indoor cat, she gets plenty of exercise through daily playtime and her favorite zoomies around the house. Lacey was diagnosed with asthma five years ago and has received consistent, attentive care ever since. When caring for your pet, I will make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe in my care. They will receive the right balance of love, food, and play, just as I provide for Lacey. I’m also a proud chicken mom! I enjoy giving my chickens treats and watching them soak up the beautiful weather from their coop. My chickens are pets, not food, and they are cared for with the same love and attention.
