About: We are a family of 4 who love dogs and treat our guests like our own. After our last dog passed a couple of years ago, we’ve enjoyed the occasional pet sitting for our friends so much that we decided to do it more often. Dogs will get plenty of attention, playtime and exercise here. Let us know their needs and we will strive to meet them and make them feel at home. We are available for weekend, extended weekend and occasionally longer stays as a i work from home every Monday and Friday at a minimum. Dogs will be walked whenever needed. We only take 1-2 dogs at a time to ensure that your furry friends get the care and attention they deserve. We strive to accommodate our guests’ needs and make them feel like part of a family while you are away. Our side-walked neighborhood is very safe for dog walks, with great hiking trails nearby if our guests enjoy that as well.
About: Experienced, Loving Pet Care From a Lifelong Animal Lover! Hi! My name is Mariah, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a young child. Growing up, I helped my mom with dog sitting, and I quickly developed a deep love and understanding of animals. Over the years, I've gained a wealth of experience through Rover and have had the pleasure of caring for a variety of dogs—each with their own unique personality and needs. I truly love all animals, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. From playful pups to senior dogs, I know how to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m dedicated to providing your furry friend with the best care, whether it’s through daily walks, cuddle time, or fun outdoor adventures! If you’re looking for someone who’s experienced, trustworthy, and passionate about animals, I’d be honored to care for your pets while you’re away. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I can't wait to meet your furry family members! I currently have very open availability and a flexible schedule! I’ll be happy to meet with you and your furry friend whenever works best for your household. When pet sitting in a clients home I try to be in one place as much as possible, I only enter the rooms I absolutely need to to care for your pet and keep them comfortable!
About: I have trained puppies and currently caring for my own senior dog. I don't see pets as animals but as one of us. They are family and best friends. I believe that they should be loved with more love than they give us. I am a huge advocate for animal rights and will always do what's right by them. I am big on communication and will ensure that pet parents will always know how the care of their pet is going along with photos and any follow up questions. I will treat them as they are my own pet and give them the attention and love they need. I currently moved to Canton, MA from San Diego, CA. I am between jobs and have the time to care for others peoples pets. I used to do it for family and friends back in California and find it very rewarding to care for them. I care for my pet named Mellie, as she was my kid. Everyday I give her my full love and attention and will do the same with others. I very detailed oriented and can follow caring schedules perfectly
“Margaret is amazing! She was punctual, personable, had great communication and treated our dog like her own. She gave thorough updates and great photos! We trust her with our dog and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to come take your dog out. We will absolutely be using her in the future 😊”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for over 40 years now. Cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters, birds etc. Pets always warm up to me and I really enjoy my interacting with them. I have experience giving medication (both pills and liquid) in a kind, gentle way that works! I have the same concerns with my elderly pet so I understand. I am an early bird so I am available before work and also after work for visits. Morning visits availability from 5-7 am and evening from 5:30-8 pm. I truly love pets so it's enjoyable for me and I just like making a little extra spending money doing something I love! I'm at work 8:30-5 so as much as I would love to walk dogs during the week, it would have to be something that fit into my Mon-Fri work schedule. If I can see them 6am-7am before work and/or 5:30-? after work, I would be able to help dog moms/dads too! I comfort them, make sure they feel loved and cared for, not just fed. And I have the utmost respect for peoples homes and their privacy.
“Ani is a wonder woman! She did a fabulous job with our high needs cat AND our super independent cat! So appreciated her daily photos and updates. Can’t wait to work with Ani again!”

About: I’ve had a dog for over 9 years now and have experience sitting other dogs for over 3 years now. I am looking to provide exceptional care and love for all kinds of dogs I am a recent college graduate with plenty of free time on my hands. When I am not free, I am either golfing, hanging with my friends, or traveling. I care for dogs by making them feel comfortable while their owner is away, by making them feel loved, and by entertaining them, whether that be a walk, fetch, etc.
About: I've had dogs since I was two, starting with a Chocolate Labrador and later getting a Yorkshire Terrier at 10, whom I've cared for ever since. I also help my sister with her pitbulls, gaining hands-on experience with different breeds and personalities. Through these years, I've developed a deep understanding of dog care, from walks to training and general well-being. As a full-time student, I have a flexible schedule with plenty of free time after classes. My Wednesdays and weekends are completely free, allowing me plenty of time to walk and care for your dog. Whether it's a midday or weekend walk, I’m available! My Chocolate Labrador loved running outdoors so our yard was fenced, allowing her to play freely. As for my Yorkshire Terrier, he prefers to stay inside so I let him just wonder around the house as he pleases and hang with me!
“Maeve took wonderful care of my cat while I was away! She was very professional, prompt, and provided great photos of the fun they had together. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for cat care in the future!”

Since I work at a school I often have more flexibility around school breaks. Afternoons/evenings are my most open times. I cannot recommend Jing highly enough! She has been caring for my dogs, Winnie and Jackson, and has been absolutely wonderful. She is reliable, consistent, and always communicates clearly, which gives me complete peace of mind when I’m away. One of my favorite things about her visits are the photos she sends. The photos she takes are incredible. I have honestly saved so many of them because they are just that good! It is obvious that she genuinely cares about the dogs and takes the time to make sure they are happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Winnie and Jackson are always excited to see her, and I know they are in great hands whenever she stops by. She is dependable, thoughtful, and truly goes above and beyond. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely loves animals, I would wholeheartedly recommend Jing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
