“Eliza made sure our two cats were well taken care of and gave them lots of love and attention. We loved knowing they were in good hands while we were out of town. Would definitely use her again!”

About: We are a family of 4 who love dogs and treat our guests like our own. After our last dog passed a couple of years ago, we’ve enjoyed the occasional pet sitting for our friends so much that we decided to do it more often. Dogs will get plenty of attention, playtime and exercise here. Let us know their needs and we will strive to meet them and make them feel at home. We are available for weekend, extended weekend and occasionally longer stays as a i work from home every Monday and Friday at a minimum. Dogs will be walked whenever needed. We only take 1-2 dogs at a time to ensure that your furry friends get the care and attention they deserve. We strive to accommodate our guests’ needs and make them feel like part of a family while you are away. Our side-walked neighborhood is very safe for dog walks, with great hiking trails nearby if our guests enjoy that as well.
“Thank you so much Kimberly for visiting and helping with our cat while we were on vacation! It was our first time using Rover and we were very happy to find such a caring pet sitter near our home. 5 stars highly recommended!”

About: Hi my name is Emily! I love all animals and have lived with dogs and cats for most of my life. I lived with two chocolate labs and have worked through their puppy stages as well as training. I have experience with dog walking and dog sitting, and have been doing that for over 4 years. I have a calming presence on animals and they seem to enjoy being around me! I am also patient with them whether they want to explore during walks, if they have an accident in the house, and anything in between. I can give your pet an engaging walk and playtime, and a peaceful stay at my house. I will give them all of my love and I hope they enjoy their time with me! I currently work part-time and I have a very flexible schedule. I can spend lots of time with pets wether it is house stays or checking in on them frequently. I have a fully fenced-in backyard with plenty of room for pets to roam. I always have an eye on the pets and my house is pet-proof, with chemicals kept in pet-free areas. I do not let dogs meet unknown dogs on walks unless given prior consent from the owners and am knowledgeable on dog and cat behaviors.
About: I am a retired flight attendant who grew up with dogs and throughout the years I have had many pets ranging from bunnies to cats to dogs. I am home the majority of the time, so I will be able to provide your dog with all the love and attention (or space) they need. I live in a house with a fenced in yard and a doggie door, which makes for easy access for dogs to come and go as they please - and bask in the sun on my patio. My love for dogs is unconditional and I will care for yours as if they are my own. I am retired, so I am home majority of the days and evenings. My dog recently passed away, so I thought dog sitting would be a great way to fill the companionship void. I tailor each dog's care based on their individual needs. I have a fenced in yard with a doggie door. I also have baby gates up in the house to restrict pets from certian rooms.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, and my family and I have two of our own. I’ve also taken care of pets for neighbors, family, and friends, so I’m comfortable with all ages, personalities, and routines. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I run my own business and am home most of the time. I plan my day around visits so each pet gets steady attention. I care for pets by following their normal routines, paying close attention to their behavior, and keeping their environment calm and comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect their space, follow instructions carefully, and make sure pets feel safe and relaxed.
“Tracy was great with the cats and went above and beyond to help out. She always made time to play with Basil and sent very sweet videos which I really appreciated while I was away.”

“Paige was great and the dogs seemed to really like their “play date” with her. Paige sent a detailed report that made us feel at ease. We definitely hope to have Oaige drop in for another visit soon.”

“Ani was amazing with our elderly cat Karina. I didn't need to worry at all during our trip because Karina warmed up to her immediately which she rarely does with unfamiliar people. Ani was extremely conscientious and thorough in her care and made sure that our elderly girl was relaxed and content with massages and plenty of love and attention. Thank you so much, Ani.”

About: I love all pups and will treat your fur babies as my own 🐾 I have been caring for big dogs since I was a child and have always had a love for them. I also have previous experience working at a doggie daycare, with dogs all breeds, ages, and sizes. I have a somewhat flexible schedule and will be home with your pups to follow their bathroom and feeding schedule and get lots of play time and cuddles while they’re in my care! I wake up around 7 am, feeding and bathroom routine, play time and walks throughout the day. I can also stick to any routine needed. There is currently one dog in my home, so I will only be caring for one additional dog at a time. My apartment complex has grassy areas for bathroom time, and I have plenty of room for your dog to play and rest. Neighborhood walks are also available.
“My wife and I have been super skeptical about having a cat sitter. We were nervous about someone coming into our home to take care of our boys because they have a lot of health problems, but Layal eased all of our anxieties while we were away and we couldn’t have asked for someone better. Her daily photos/videos helped keep our minds at ease and we were super grateful for all of her help, care, and attention. If you’re worrying about who to pick for your cat sitter, you don’t have to look any further! Layal is the absolute best and we’re excited to continue working with her!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, starting with my own family dog, whom I helped raise from a puppy through every stage of life. I was involved in daily walks, feeding, basic training, grooming, playtime, and providing lots of love and attention- he became my best friend. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve completed overnight dog sitting for two different families, staying for a full week while they were away. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, refilling water, letting the dogs out for bathroom breaks, maintaining their routines, providing companionship, and making sure they felt safe and comfortable while their owners were gone. I recently graduated college, so as I am making my transition at home from schooling to career, I have free time on my hands to help out! I am active, I go on long daily walks anyways, and can fit them into my schedule of kickboxing, career searching, babysitting etc. In the pups environment at home, I be sure to play with them inside and outside, take them on walks and make sure they are fed!

With a spacious backyard to run and play in, your dog will have plenty of room to burn off energy and enjoy their time here. I provide a relaxed and loving environment, so your dog can feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you're away. I’m also usually home during major holidays, so you can count on me to provide dependable care when you need it most. Whether it's a short trip or a longer stay, I ensure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well-cared for throughout the year. With my flexible schedule and commitment to your pet’s well-being, you’ll always have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. In my home, your pet will enjoy a warm, welcoming environment with plenty of love and attention. I have a friendly French Bulldog who gets along well with other pets, providing companionship for your fur baby during their stay. If your pet prefers their own space or needs crate training, I also have a crate available for them to use, ensuring they feel secure and comfortable. I offer a balance of freedom and structure, allowing pets to roam freely, play in the backyard, or relax in a quiet area if needed. Whether they need companionship or privacy, I tailor the care to suit your pet’s individual preferences and comfort level.

“Isabel’s first visit with Oliver and Nami went very well. My younger dog, Nami, is skittish with new people. Judging by the nine photos Isabel sent, it didn’t take long for Nami to warm up to Isabel, and of course Oliver was all in from the start. Isabel has such a warm and friendly personality. I can’t imagine any dog not enjoying Isabel’s attention. I’ll be calling on Isabel again.”
“Maeve took wonderful care of my cat while I was away! She was very professional, prompt, and provided great photos of the fun they had together. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for cat care in the future!”

Zachary took care of our pup Crumbs during the day while we were at work. He was always on time, communicative, and extremely attentive with Crumbs during their visits. Zachary made sure to play with Crumbs and get him exercise outside which we greatly appreciated! We felt extremely comfortable having Zachary take care of him - he is a very trustworthy sitter and we would reach out to him again anytime.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
