I currently work at a vet part time where my hours are only 8-12 Monday-Friday. I also have a horse I have to take care of throughout the week.

I have a large fenced in yard everything is completely closed in even the smallest of small pups cant get out! I make sure all dogs get along with proper introductions and a meet and greet with myself and my dog to make sure its a right fit. I do not take any aggressive dogs. It is a MUST for them to get along with other dogs and people! I take on multiple dogs at once and even if I don't I still have my dog that lives here! You can bring your own crate if he or she feels more comfortable in their own place. All dogs are welcome on my bed, my dogs bed or wherever they choose. I have plenty of blankets to scatter on the ground if they’d rather sleep there.

It is an absolute must for your dog to get along with other dogs and also people. I would like to know if there is any food or toy aggression, if they need to be crated or can hangout outside of the crate in the house. If they like to eat shoes or anything else really. If there is medication that needs to be given and different ways for them to take it. If they do not want to eat their food is there an alternative or something I can put in to make it more yummy. Examples are cheese, boiled chicken and rice, peanut butter stuff like that! Last but not least Updated vaccinations. I need Bordetella (kennel cough), Distemper and Rabies.
A typical day
I have plenty of toys inside and out and space for your dog to play as long as they want! The dogs truly love the fenced in yard where they get zoomies and play chase! I've had many dogs stay here these past years so they can get those noses to work outside! If your dog needs stimulation throughout the day I can offer lick mats, kongs etc.

Hi! My name is Christy. Animals have been my passion my whole life. Here’s a little about me. I took canine classes in high school where I learned obedience, grooming etc. I worked at a doggy daycare for a few years. I’ve babysat plenty of neighbors dogs and still do! I can also do a nail trim and a bath if needed! I have taken of dogs aging from 8 weeks to 15 years old. I also did online school at Animal behavior college to become a veterinary assistant! And I now work at a vet part time! I trained my dog when he was a puppy and have trained puppies basic potty training, sit, down stay, come.

We have had such fantastic experience with Christy! She has taken wonderful care of our Vizsla puppy, while we are working out our work schedules for the new season. She has followed all our instructions, kept him active and happy, and even sent regular updates with the BEST photos, which really gave us peace of mind. I truly have no words to describe my appreciation for Christy! She was able to take in my puppy super last minute, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I received the best pictures throughout the day!! he looked so happy and well cared for. When I picked him up, he was a tired, content, and clearly a loved boy! Christy’s kind and welcoming energy was obvious from the moment we arrived, which made it so easy to leave him in her care. I had zero doubt they had such a great day together. On top of everything, she even trimmed his nails, which was such a thoughtful and awesome bonus! I’m beyond grateful and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book with her again.
