About: Hi! I’m a college student and experienced dog handler with a strong interest in dog training and behavior. I’ve trained my own dog from very little training to advanced obedience, excellent loose-leash walking, and highly reliable recall, including around wildlife and other major distractions. I’m especially comfortable with high-energy, anxious, reactive, and strong-willed dogs. I pay close attention to body language and adjust my approach to each dog, whether they need structure, exercise, mental stimulation, or simply time to feel comfortable. I enjoy long walks, running, sniffing and decompression walks, and using long lines to give dogs freedom while keeping them safely secured. I also naturally reinforce basic obedience and good leash manners during my stays. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, dogs who pull, dogs needing medication, and pets with more hands-on care requirements. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and provide lots of photos and regular, detailed updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate time each day to walks, feeding, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I live an active lifestyle and regularly go on long walks, hikes, and runs, so I’m comfortable keeping up with high-energy dogs that need extra exercise. I work to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while in my care. Safety is my top priority when caring for any pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so I can provide care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I have experience with puppies, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs, and I pay close attention to body language to help prevent stressful situations before they happen. In my home, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog if needed. Outdoor time is always supervised, and I use secure leashes and long lines when appropriate. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Alayna provided exceptional care of the girls! I felt so at ease knowing they were very well taken care of. She provided updates and kept me in the loop with them which I loved. Thank you again for taking such good care of them!!”

“Maegan was great with our new puppy. It was our first time leaving her with a sitter and Maegan went above and beyond to make sure Daisy was comfortable and well taken care of.”

“Michaela was fantastic with her drop in visits! She took such great care of our dog and sent very detailed updates! She followed all instructions and really had us feeling comfortable knowing he was in great hands! We are so happy and appreciative! :)”

“Lauren was wonderful! Excellent communication skills, and took great care of our two Aussies. She sent lots of picks and went above and beyond! They also warmed up to her quickly (which is unusual and speaks a lot to her character and skill with pets!)!!”

“⸻ I’ve been trusting Abhay with my dog for the past four years, and I can’t recommend him enough. He is incredibly reliable and always punctual, which gives me such peace of mind. One of the things I appreciate most is his excellent communication. After each session, he provides thoughtful updates on how things went, which shows how attentive and engaged he is. On the rare occasion when there’s any uncertainty, he doesn’t hesitate to reach out for clarification, which I truly appreciated. It’s clear that he takes both his work and my dog’s well-being seriously. It’s a huge comfort knowing my dog is in such capable and caring hands.”

“This was our second time using Josephine for cat sitting and I could not recommend her enough! We were away for a week and she took great care of our two kitties, making sure to communicate everything about their food intake, litter box usage, moods, etc. Josephine was also very attentive to our house and went above and beyond to help us sort out some appliance issues while we were gone as well. You can tell she truly cares for animals. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future!”

“Tracy was great with the cats and went above and beyond to help out. She always made time to play with Basil and sent very sweet videos which I really appreciated while I was away.”

About: Hi! I'm a single mom who has had pets since I could walk.. I have owned dogs, cats, lizards, birds, fish, and even tarantulas! I My 11 year old daughter is the BEST helper and a fellow animal lover. We have one adult cat, Queenie Zucchini. She is a sweetheart and has now had over 20 new cat friends come to stay with us so far. She has never been aggressive with any of our guest cats. She has even gotten quite attached to some of them! We have a large apartment and would be happy to adhere to any needs you and your pet have.. Just let me know how I can help! Regarding the timing of your booking. I do work Mon-Fri, but I can be available if I have enough notice. I am available all weekend, 24/7 with short notice even. I do ask that if you book - please do not book any drop-off or pickup earlier than 1pm on weekdays or before 9:00 am on weekends. No drop-off or pickups after 8:00 pm. We are a very "chill" household. With just me, my daughter, and our cat Queenie. She gets dry food in the a.m. and p.m., and 1/2 a can of wet food for dinner. I clean and refill water 2x each day, and do daily litter scoops. As far as the question "what should I bring?".... Please bring your pet's preferred food and litter. I do have an extra litter box that can be prepared for your pet. I also advise you to send a blanket or even a piece of your clothing - something from home with a familiar smell, so your pet has a comfort item in their new temporary home.
“Justyna was excellent! She took very good care of my two fur babies. She gave medicine to my kitty and even shut the windows and turned on the ac when I asked her to over the rover app. Justyna is very friendly and easy to talk to. I definitely would recommend Justyna.”

About: Growing up, my grandmother fostered litters of puppies and their moms until they were old enough to be adopted. I spent a lot of time volunteering alongside her and learned how to train puppies. While I'm not a professional, I do understand the mechanics of positive enforcement. I had a boxer who will be 2 years old this February and have trained him to walk nicely on a leash as well as other commands. I also have two cats, Cho'gath and Jorah. I'm currently working part-time Wednesday-Fridays until 4 pm. Anytime outside of that I'm available! I sometimes have to work Saturdays, but would be off at 12. In my current home, there is no back yard. My place had 4 cats living in it right now, two of which are my roommates. At home boarding might be difficult here, but I'm happy to come to you.
About: Growing up in a household full of pets, I have had a lot of experience caring for animals. Throughout my life, I've cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, horses, and chickens. As an adult, it has been a wonderful experience adopting my very own cat, as well as being able to care for the pets of my friends and family. As a teacher, I am available after school hours, Monday-Friday, after 3 pm. I am also available on Saturdays from 12 pm to 7 pm. My hours will change during the summer, with more availability. I adopted my cat, Lacey, six years ago, and she has truly become my best friend. She is very well cared for and sees her veterinarian annually. As an indoor cat, she gets plenty of exercise through daily playtime and her favorite zoomies around the house. Lacey was diagnosed with asthma five years ago and has received consistent, attentive care ever since. When caring for your pet, I will make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe in my care. They will receive the right balance of love, food, and play, just as I provide for Lacey. I’m also a proud chicken mom! I enjoy giving my chickens treats and watching them soak up the beautiful weather from their coop. My chickens are pets, not food, and they are cared for with the same love and attention.

Jill did a great job taking care of our kitties while we attended our wedding! She gave us the peace of mind we needed. She followed instructions and made sure our cat got his medicine. We felt comfortable with her in our home and will happily trust her again with our cats in the future. Thanks so much!!

Kate did an amazing job of taking care of our 2 cats. She was easy to communicate with and sent us pictures and updates each day which was very reassuring. My cat George definitely has a crush on her 😊. We will absolutely use her again. We feel very fortunate to have found her. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
