While we were away, our return flight ended up getting canceled multiple times, leaving us stranded for an additional three days. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation was made so much easier because they immediately stepped in without hesitation and continued caring for Howie like he was their own. They consistently reassured us that he was safe, happy, and well cared for until we could finally make it home. On top of that, we received dozens of pictures and videos throughout our trip, which truly meant so much—especially as first-time dog parents leaving him behind. Seeing Howie relaxed, playing, and clearly loved gave us total peace of mind. It’s rare to find someone you can trust so completely with your dog, but we absolutely did here. About: Growing up, my grandmother fostered litters of puppies and their moms until they were old enough to be adopted. I spent a lot of time volunteering alongside her and learned how to train puppies. While I'm not a professional, I do understand the mechanics of positive enforcement. I had a boxer who will be 2 years old this February and have trained him to walk nicely on a leash as well as other commands. I also have two cats, Cho'gath and Jorah. I'm currently working part-time Wednesday-Fridays until 4 pm. Anytime outside of that I'm available! I sometimes have to work Saturdays, but would be off at 12. In my current home, there is no back yard. My place had 4 cats living in it right now, two of which are my roommates. At home boarding might be difficult here, but I'm happy to come to you.

About: I grew up with cats, although I only have dogs now. My parents had cats when I was I still remember going to the shelter and picking out “my” cat. She was a very big boned, black, long haired girl who loved attention and put up with my brothers and me. Zoey once got in a fight that ended with her becoming a solely indoor cat after the trip to the vet. I learned how to give her her antibiotics and found ways to get her to take her medication. I promised my parents that I would take care of emptying the litter box, and surprisingly I did. Cat litter has come a long way since then.

From daily routines to lots of love and attention, I understand how important it is to treat every pet like family. I have a flexible schedule and am available all day on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. On all other days, I am available after 3:00 PM. About: I grew up with a dog always in my home and now have one of my own. She is 2 years old and LOVES playing with other animals. I love all animals, and if you bring your pet to me I can promise you they will enjoy themselves. I can be active with them if they like to play outside or in the house, or if they’re a couch bum I will lounge around with them as well! Quincy dog park is right by my apartment, my dog’s favorite place to be in the summer! Animals are free to roam around in the home. When I am not home, my dog is crate trained so she stays in the crate, but if your animal does not usually stay in a crate that is fine it is whatever the owner prefers. My dog has anxiety around new humans and dealing with that has taught me a lot of patience the last 2 years. If you have an anxious dog, he/she is in good hands with me as I understand the struggle and will take whatever steps necessary to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I have a lot of patience with animals. My dog is spoiled rotten because of it! I work from home so day walks and play time is not an issue. I am also home all day with my dog so she doesn’t have to stay in the crate unless I leave to go somewhere. I have a very friendly and playful dog who loves other furry companions, but if your animal is not comfortable I can keep them separated.

It would be nice if Wanda provided more daily updates, I had to ask a few times to see how he was doing. Overall, Wanda seems like a very kind and reliable sitter.”
