“Whitney looked after our dog for 4 days and gave great care. She has two dogs, one of which i met out when we did a meet and greet. They are smaller but very chill, my dog matches the other dog's energy so small dogs sometimes isn't his best match but they seem to have gotten along well. It seems our dog just made himself at home, so that's a good sign. Whitney also is a great communicator, and was really nice and understanding of our pickup time shifting. We hope to keep them in our circle of trusted caregivers for our dog in the future.”

About: I grew up with cats, although I only have dogs now. My parents had cats when I was I still remember going to the shelter and picking out “my” cat. She was a very big boned, black, long haired girl who loved attention and put up with my brothers and me. Zoey once got in a fight that ended with her becoming a solely indoor cat after the trip to the vet. I learned how to give her her antibiotics and found ways to get her to take her medication. I promised my parents that I would take care of emptying the litter box, and surprisingly I did. Cat litter has come a long way since then.

About: I have always had dogs and cats throughout my life. As an adult, I’ve had three dogs, myself five cats and many other poor legged friends. I enjoy being around animals very much they bring me such joy. Everyone calls me the pet whisperer because every animal I meet just loves me and I love them. We have two standard poodles, Ivy who’s 7 and about 50lbs and I own Felix who’s about 3 and over 50lbs. I also have a horse, and our first dog was raised by the cats we had before got dogs. Thanks to growing up with animals, then working with horses as an apprentice in Colorado for two years I appreciate the need that dogs have to get outside and get some energy out, or at least some attention so they don't decide to entertain themselves in a different way other ways. I do not do over nights, but I can check in at night and early morning. I personally know it can be gut wrenching to leave a pet alone, especially with someone unfamiliar, so I take my responsibility very seriously. I would treat your pet how I would hope my pet would be treated. I will make sure that everything will be exactly where I found it. I will clean up any pet messes made during my shift. I promise to remain with, entertain, or comfort your pet. Plus I'll send as many photos as you like.

This was our first time being away from Howie, and naturally we were a little nervous—but they made the entire experience so reassuring from start to finish. While we were away, our return flight ended up getting canceled multiple times, leaving us stranded for an additional three days. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation was made so much easier because they immediately stepped in without hesitation and continued caring for Howie like he was their own.
