About: I have done in home visits and dog walking for pets of all types. 3 years of experience. Tons of availability. True animal lover at heart. Many references available. I am currently not working and I'm looking for a few regular gigs to keep me busy. I love to walk and hike. I love people and animals in general. “⸻ I’ve been trusting Abhay with my dog for the past four years, and I can’t recommend him enough. He is incredibly reliable and always punctual, which gives me such peace of mind. One of the things I appreciate most is his excellent communication. After each session, he provides thoughtful updates on how things went, which shows how attentive and engaged he is. On the rare occasion when there’s any uncertainty, he doesn’t hesitate to reach out for clarification, which I truly appreciated. It’s clear that he takes both his work and my dog’s well-being seriously. It’s a huge comfort knowing my dog is in such capable and caring hands.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs all my life. Dog sitting for my aunt for when she went on vacation and cat sitting for friends and co workers! I love animals and would love to help others as well! I am currently employed at Mansfield deli. I usually work 5-7 days a week but my schedule varies. I get my schedule on a weekly basis so I’m not really sure of my schedule ahead of time but I normally work the same hours every week! Unfortunately I am not able to have other animals in my home due to having my own cats and dogs but I would love to care for other animals in the homes they are comfortable in. I am very well adjusted and have plenty of experience with pet sitting to help keep animals safe and taken care of! In my home we have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats as pets throughout my whole life (also including chickens and goats!) I’ve been the primary caretaker of 2 cats and 1 senior dog over the last 6 years. I am skilled with basic pet care, and I pay close attention to pet’s specific needs (ex: special diet, unique quirks, injury/vet care). Animals have a special place in my heart. I’ve helped stray cats, I’ve pulled over for loose dogs on the road, I donate to the local animal shelter, and I consider animal welfare even while grocery shopping. My family jokingly calls me the “animal whisperer” and they often turn to me for pet advice. I’m a firm believer that pets aren’t just animals, they are part of the family. I’m currently working full time during the weekday, so I’m a great fit for evening/night shifts! I’m available for evening walks or any other drop in tasks. I’m also available on the weekends (as needed and varies) and I can be available for any pet care needed during weekend trips. I do multiple physical checks throughout the day to make sure my pets are accounted for and aren’t in any distress or messy situations. I also make sure that there are no open doors or windows left unattended. I make sure that the floors and counters are clean of food or any small items, ensuring that my pets won’t try to eat something they shouldn’t. If something seems off with my pets’ behavior, I always inspect them and/or do research to determine if a vet call is needed or not. Lastly, I follow my pets’ feeding routines and porch time routines, and of course spend time playing and cuddling.
“Paulina was wonderful! I had just moved to a new house before my trip, and she was completely reliable and flexible about my plans in advance of my traveling. And she comforted and calmed my cat, who tends to be scared for days of new people—even when she’s in familiar territory, much less a brand new house. From the first visit onward, my cat welcomed her! Paulina sent me photos daily to show me my cat was doing well. I was able to relax during my travel, knowing my pet was well cared for. I give Paulina my highest recommendation!”

I am available everyday of the week, and would just need 24 hours to do any pick up or drop off. I have a fenced in yard with two dogs of my own to keep your pup company, and have a crate available if needed for them to have a comfortable place to stay.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
