About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was a little girl. Animals love me and I love them. I don’t have any pets at this time and would love to help care for yours. I’m currently self employed and create my own schedule which is very flexible. I have plenty of free time to care for pets. No worries for frequent potty trips. I currently have a daytime weekday schedule through mid-June, so during the school year I’m typically available after 4:30 PM on weekdays and have open availability on weekends. Starting in the summer, I’ll have much more flexibility with increased weekday and weekend availability. About: I have experience working with dogs and cats through pet sitting and hospital experience. I have owned dogs for the past 16 years, chinchillas for the past 5 years, and hedgehogs for the past 7 years. I am able to detect symptoms and abnormalities that may require medical attention. I enjoy bringing my pets to a variety of places such as state parks, pet stores and public pet events. I am available most weekdays and weekends. I do not mind staying over for overnight care. My time is pretty flexible for now and I am able to drive to locations within an hour radius using my own car. I have a finished basement that would be used for the pets I care for. It has a bathroom with a hand held shower for easy bathing. I have a crate available for use for dogs under 30 pounds. The basement also has direct access to the back yard for easier potty times. The temperature in the basement is cool during the summer. In the winter the temperature would be adjusted using an electric fire place. Dogs would get enrichment through daily walks, puzzle toys and trick training. Cats would have access to the whole basement to free roam but will not have access to outdoors.

About: I've always loved dogs and cats and felt very passionate about them. I have two years animal shelter experience taking care of dogs and cats. This included feeding several different types of foods and diets to pets, ensuring pets' safety, cleaning cages and kennels, cleaning litter boxes, and taking out dogs into the yard. I pay attention to dogs and cats body languages to ensure their safety needs and emotional needs are met. I let pets come to me first so that they can feel comfortable and safe around me. I treat every pet with respect and if they do not want to say hi yet, that is totally fine with me I will feed them and clean litterbox, etc and they will warm up to me eventually. I watch puppies and young dogs very carefully so that they do not get into trouble and I always make sure the floors are puppy/dog proofed.
